I am so happy I found this groomer. Feels much more personal compared to the traditional big box type places when I bring my poodle to get cut. Always happy with the service and customer service. Would definitely recommend them!

I have a 7month old Pomsky that is still learning the whole grooming process. I seriously couldn’t have brought her to a better person! Hermione’s husky was showing and you could probably hear her down the street but Sam was very patient and took things slow. When Hermione was hating the blow dryer Sam backed off and opted for a different dryer.. and after she was done she helped me with what tools I should be using and some homework with Hermoine.. (without making me feel like a bad owner)Now Hermione is prancing around with the cutest fluffy butt! Very impressed!

Moved down here 3 months ago and have been researching groomers to find the best one for our 4 dogs. We have a great pyranes that desperately needed groomed and I won't take my dogs just anywhere. My wife hates how I research a place before I pull the trigger when it comes to the dogs vet or groomer. I saw this place had the most positive reviews so I took a shot and let me tell you.... AMAZING. Our fluff ball looks better then ever even from our past groomers. This place in my opinion is top notch. We will be scheduling 2 more of our dogs and hopefully we have found our permanent groomer. Gin was amazing and did a wonderful job. This small business is a must to support and we are gonna be repeat customers you should to.

They were very friendly and gave me the exact cut I wanted for my little dog. He can sometimes be nervous about getting groomed but he was very happy when I picked him up. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their pup groomed and will be back soon!

They do a wonderful job! Coco gets so excited to go see them. Labradoodles are very hard to keep from knotting especially one with super curly hair. I never have to worry about how she will look when we take her to the Barker shop, she always looks amazing when we pick her up!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE coming here!. They always do a phenomenal job on my boys. I've recently moved and I'll still make the 40 minute drive every time my boys are ready for their bath and cuts. I highly recommend bringing your pets here!.

My dogs love the Barker shop I have one dog that has serious anxiety and I also have a great Dane that I’ve rescued and both Sam and Jen treat them like their own dogs. I recommend them highly.

After moving to Jacksonville we had such a hard time finding the right groomer for our doodle. We got recommended by a friend and she has been a blessing. Our pup Rooster runs straight to her every time we pull up. You can tell he’s treated well. With high anxiety I worry about him being groomed but she truly does care for him like her own. Also she listens to the owner instructions, like a few thing different in our cut then normal and she has no problem accommodating, she always has cut him as we prefer. Plus they come home with a super cute bandana

I took my dog to an appointment on Wednesday, she came back really down and anxious, she was even shaking violently which has never happened after a grooming appointment and she has been getting groomed for the past 2 years. Then while we were petting her we noticed a wound on her leg and it’s really bad. I don’t understand why they have 5 stars reviews if this is how my dog comes back home.

My old girl never looked better , this was her first time being groomed by someone she didn’t know ! And Sam made my girl feel loved and at home ! She took such a great care of her ! I always recommend her to anyone I meet !

Great with my st Bernard. I've tried a few others in town a little cheaper. But let me tell you. You get what you pay for. Best groomer hands down in this area. My boy loves going as well.

I am a repeat customer. Easy to get appointments. I trust them completely wiih my precious pups. Extremely patient and loving.I recommend them to my friends.I am never disappointed. Their skill level is high for all breeds cuts and all anxiety levels. Small lady owned local business. Its been very difficult to find a good reliable consistent groomers with great attitudes and a love for your pet.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Sam treats all the pups like their hers. She turned my dog from Benji to Lady. They are the best around and I'm never dissatisfied. They are honest with you and will do what's best for your pet. The products used always make my dog's fur soo soft.

Sam is amazing! The only groomer I've ever found for my pomeranian where I leave genuinely happy every time with the service and cut. He gets excited when he sees her, and he's not one who likes to be left with others (groomer, vet, boarding, etc)

I wanted to share my experience with The Barker Shop (Sam). I’ve been using them for several months, my 11 yr old Shih-Tzu is very challenging and these ladies work with him, and do a wonderful job. Great groomer! Very patient with my stubborn and difficult old man and his hatred of nail clippings. He does better in this environment with her than at most other groomers! They also don't mind when my GSD yells at them while getting her nails done too.
