Was originally booked for the wrong service. Gave us a later appointment. When we went back, they wouldn't groom him because they said he had a skin condition (yeah, too much fur). The one who runs the grooming area on San Jose Blvd was rude, disrespectful and treated us like we were horrible for letting the dog get long fur. He was a rescue, as my husband's brother passed away, and nobody wanted him but us. I will NEVER go to PetSmart again.

Average fish selection that typically has a few dead fish and always seems to be a struggle to get help in store, feel like they need an extra 2 employees working. BUT they have some of the best variety of options for decorations and tanks. After our 110 gallon tank cracked they were the only store to have any tanks over 100 gallons for sale. ***note the plant life did not come from PetSmart

This Pet Smart store has the BEST GROOMERS EVER. THEY LOVE THE ANIMALS THAT THEY GROOM ON A REGULAR BASIS. THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT EACH CLIENT. THEY ARE KIND TO THE DOGGY MOMS AND DADS AND THEY EVEN GROOM CATS HERE TOO.I WANT TO RECOGNIZE K.G. AND ASHLEY. THEY ARE FANTASTIC. EVERYONE THAT WORKS IN GROOMING IS GREAT.

Long, but BE AWARE. I adopted a baby bearded dragon, knowing it had an injured foot. I was told "they are just a rowdy bunch, biting is natural. We are separating them." I took mine to the vet, and they found tiny fibers wrapped around the back feet. The baby lost a foot and most toes on the other foot. This was expected, but not for that reason. I informed a manager so that they knew separating them would NOT solve the problem, and they said they would be visiting the vet. Today, I see ONE out of the 3-4 with black feet left. I asked a manager if it had been to the vet... "I don't believe so, but we are taking care of them." THIS ISSUE REQUIRES A VET VISIT. 4 MEDICATIONS THAT THESE BABIES ARE NOT RECEIVING. The manager originally mentioned the vet that they use, which is the same one we use. So, if I confirm with the vet that they have NEGLECTED to take their babies in, as it is obvious they needed to go, there will be a report made to the appropriate authorities. (This would also mean that some were adopted out KNOWING THE ISSUE, WITHOUT PROPER TREATMENT)LUCKILY our baby is recovering well, but we found it early, and he/she was the worst off. Hopefully these babies were treated, or ended up in KNOWING hands like ours, and not in the lives of people UNDER THE IMPRESSION they were taking home a "beginner" reptile.

PetsMart carries the brand of dog food that I need for my dog and would otherwise have to order online. It has limited natural nutritious ingredients. PetsMart donates to local charities and their store staff is always helpful. Sometimes I do curbside pick up or order via their app and pick up inside. I go to their Mandarin location here in Jacksonville Florida.

I've used Petsmart groomers for almost a year now. I highly recommend Eyanna! She's extremely patient and gentle with our German shepherd!

After being a faithful customer for 8 years, I finally decided to have my goldendoodle groomed at PetSmart instead of doing it myself. I thought it would be a treat for both me and Huck.I gave very specific instruction to NOT give him a poodle cut, NOT shave him bald, and leave as much of his tail feathers as possible.My poor baby is scalped. He has 3 places where the razor cut him. He looks ridiculous and it will be a couple months before he's presentable. I will never go back to PetSmart.

Have adopted our two youngest kitties there. Were well cared for and both are healthy and happy. People there were very patient and helpful. And gave us a book of great coupons to buy any new accesories needed for our new babies.

I go by this store now probably at least once a month to get goodies for my new dog. Always will stop and always clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Have not used the other store Services yet but encouraged to do so by the response I've gotten so far :-)

The staff that stick around longer are the ones that know their stuff, they’re great to chat with, give them some patience when waiting for feeders, at least you know their fish are well taken care of.

Super surprised they were open when I drove by. SO I stopped in to check it out. The employees were all very friendly and nice. I will be back! Very excited to have a petsmart in the area!

Worse than bad service: My father thought it would be a nice surprise to have our purebread Papillon pampered and pretty'd up while we were away on vacation. They cut her fringe and shaved her belly. Any groomer worth anything knows you do not cut Papillon ear fringe. Ever. My wife was in tears when we got our baby back. But worse than this devastating hack job which will never grow back, she began itching right away. She had developed a staph infection on her belly which our vet said could have been caused by dirty instruments used to shave her. It cost us a lot of money in vet bills and PetsMart didn't even offer to refund the cost of the "grooming" Avoid this business. Shame on you PetsMart! Shame!

Decent and well organized selection of pet products. Good product displays. However, the fish and aquarium section is not that well taken care of. There were quite a few tanks with dead fish and plants.

We're adopting a dog from the Humane Society, and while I am an experienced dog owner, this is my first experience with a pit mix. I talked to Tiffany about training classes and asked for some advice on separation anxiety, which our boy seems to have. She gave great advice and even helped carry the dog crate to the front of the store while I finished shopping. I've been a pretty loyal Petco shopper, but have recently found their in stock items low. After a recent move, this store is a click closer than Petco, so I think I'll be back there more often.

As a pet hobbyist I travel throughout all the Jacksonville area. Knowing managers and associates of almost every aquatic store. This Pet store is fairly new. A couple of years maybe. The store is absolutely beautiful inside and the associates maintain that beauty. The Orange Park location always seems to be out of products. And I have to travel to this location. I am always surprised at the difference not only the store but associates as well. Although the store is kept up nice and clean organize and stocked the store associates give this a friendly atmosphere. A ease a relaxation and never pushed our pride. You never have to look for associate they will always find you. They are friendly and courteous and do a great job. The director of this store should be very proud.

I normally go to another store and boy do I wish I had. There were employees just standing around chit chating with no intent to do anything else. I realize it was noonish, on a weekday but that store need order. Every ialse I went down was picked thru and tossed. I realize with covid, merchandise is hard on the store's effort to replace but c'mon this place clearly need another purchasing associate. Place was clean. The animals looked healthy and registers had proper covid protection & sanitizers.

The "help" was less than enthusiastic to assist us and the cashier we had seemed as though she was one checkout away from a nervous breakdown. If the store location wasn't convenient for me to swing by on my way home from work, I'd opt for a different store altogether.

Eyanna in the grooming department at San Jose, FL is SO sweet! She gave Tass (my arthritic senior maltipoo) extra TLC when my regular location couldn't fit him in. I'm willing to drive the extra distance to go see her again. Thanks!

I am absolutely astonished and disappointed at the treatment I received here. I made an appointment with Angie for my dog to be groomed her for the first time. We are knew to the area but have always taken our dog to Petsmart where we lived and loved their service. I arrived about 2:35 for a 2:30 appointment. There were two people ahead of me waiting to pick up their pets. After a few minutes someone came out and helped the first person waiting and after bringing him his pet proceeded to help the next lady in line. She had two dogs for pick up so it took a little longer. After waiting about 10 minutes I was asked who I was dropping off. I gave her the name and she went ahead and informed my groomer I was there. I continued to wait another 5 minutes while the groomer worked on the dog she was taking care of. Another groomer came out and asked again who I wad dropping off and went back again to notify them I was there. After a minute or two a gentleman came out and proceeded to tell me because I was late they would have to reschedule me. I informed him I had been waiting in line for 10 minutes to be helped. He went back to the groomer and spoke to her. He returned and again told me because I was late she would not have enough time to care for my dog and offered to reschedule me and provide a discount. At this point I was completely taken a back that I was being penalized for their lack of employees available to assist the people in the waiting area. She didn’t even have the decency to come and explain to me immediately that she could not take care of us but instead left me there waiting while 2 more employees came to ask me if I needed assistance . While their may be other groomers who would provide wonderful care to my dog this treatment has left me with no confidence in this place. I will never use their services

My dog just graduated from the PetSmart Pet Training Program. She’s an entirely different dog. She’s much more well behaved. Only 6 classes yet such a huge positive impact on my dogs behavior. 1000% recommended!

Nice size store, found lots of treats & doggie ice cream for my sisters dog but very disappointed to see that they did not stock any items for you to celebrate your doggies birthday ! We decided to have a belated birthday party since I live else where & came to Florida for a visit. They stock lots of other stuff but nothing for birthdays, how can that be? No birthday hats, bandana, decor ! Birthdays are very important to me, far more important to carry than the stuff they did have !
