Staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable. Store is clean and well maintained. I always find what I need and more!I went in for substrate and had to decide between the coconut fiber and soil. I went with the soil but the prices are great for both.

First time in a Petco! Stopped in with sister to get cat supplies and for me to browse doggie treats. Was surprised at how large the store was and all they offered. Large variety of critters..hamsters, ferrets, birds and bearded dragons! They even had fish ranging from fresh to salt water and coral reef. Store was very clean and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Vet in store and grooming area. Also they offer dog training. Will definitely travel the few miles out of my way to visit again!

Very nice staff and a nice variety of products. Giving it 4-stars instead of 5 because the store is always very warm every time I go in it, which can’t be comfortable for the cats they keep in the viewing crates. I’m usually cold, so it takes a lot for me to say a place is warm. I’m sure it saves money to keep the store at that temperature, but I hope they will consider cooling it more for the cats’ sake, as they have coats of fur.

My lab puppy and I attended training sessions with Crystal. Crystal is amazing. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and understands dogs. She goes above and beyond and provides helpful training tips for us to work on at home. . She taught my puppy how to sit in 5 minutes. It was amazing. I really like how before we start a new exercise , she will explain the training technique and why we do the technique that way from a dog’s perspective. I highly recommend Crystal. She has your dogs best interests and yours at heart.

The banfield here is fantastic, but this review is for the Petco it's attached to. The cashier was fantastic and helpful when it came to prompt service and answering any questions I had about the bird seed and feeder I was purchasing. 10/10 on the knowledge and friendliness.

After adopting a rescue in October 2023, I started searching for a trainer who could help me with my dog. I settled on Petco because it was close to my residence. Crystal A was professional, kind, and helpful. She was patient with Cali Lou & with me. As soon as we completed the six weeks of Puppy Training, we immediately signed up for another six weeks of training with Crystal to prepare Cali for the Canine Good Citizen test. I’m thrilled to say that she passed it last week. I highly recommend Crystal as a dog trainer. She is an asset to Petco.

The worse grooming I experienced in my life. They didn’t even try to get to know my dog first. The girl just came straight from behind the counter with her leash. Walks up to my dog without doing a smell check or anything. Reaches over my dog head to try to put her leash on him. Him gives her a warning. They instantly say oh we can’t see him if he is gonna be aggressive. I’m like what you did even try to greet him first. She responds we don’t do things that’s way. No you don’t know anything about dogs.

Crystal is an amazing dog trainer. I have to 11 year old dogs that I rescued from a puppy mill a couple of years ago and have used a trainer in the past who wasn’t very helpful. In just a few weeks Crystal has turned their behavior around. She is so very patient, kind and knowledgable about dog behavior. Both my husband and I have learned so much and the dogs love working with her.

We walked into petco and there were dead fish on the floor, a tank full of dead fish, a tank full of white skirt tetras with ich, and a severely ill conure. Not to mention no workers to be see and it seems like no one has been taking care of the animals there for days.

Needed a tick remover so we called on phone, clerk went to look to see if any were available, at first sight wasn't so she did some digging in the back of the shelf and found one, the last one. She reserved it for me and had waiting for me at check out when I arrived. She was kind, friendly and considerate. Resourceful.

Tropical fish has become a new household pet thing, and as novices, we had to find some friendly, knowledgeable, and patient help. We struck gold with Laurie(she's a New Yawker) as you will notice right away.However, she is also all of the things I mentioned we needed. We now have a 39-gallon Anda 15-gallon tank up and running with happy fish and happy watchers. Make Petco and Laurie your go-to for tropical fish, especially if you are a little short on experience and knowledge as I am.

Honest review here. I wish someone told me this before! Only go to vetco for small stuff like vaccines and few tests(not even small wound) . We were there for over three hours after they took us in. (Longer wait before even after making am appointment) Took two pets for one vaccination and heart warm test. Also had one pet with bit of wound over eye lid. They told us they did clip and clean to check the wound and then one lab. Then they referred us to furever pets hospital at baymeadows to have them look in further to close up wound. Then they charged us for everything all over again. So we spend over $1700 for a small wound. Two star because the staff seemed to be new inexperienced but they were nice. They did forget to give us result for heart warm tests until i asked them what were the results. In general i do not like vet care systems here since you cant see what they are doing with your pets in back room; only our pets know how they are and they don't talk. But what else in god we trust!

Grooming… Take your dog somewhere else. My dogs haircut with the essential cut and trimming her ears was $111. Online the price is $72. They’re sneaky and deceitful. You’re better off going to Petsmart. Petsmart is much cheaper and do a much better job.

We got some Betta Water for my niece's fish and I got my fuzzy friend his Hills canned food with rice and vegetables mixed into it. As he gets older I give him more soft and less crunchy food for his sensitive stomach. Our cashier was super friendly and great with the adults and kids in our party. Thank you! I will have to return for more pet stuff!

They carry both the Instinct "high protien" dog food we need as well as the prescription "urinary tract" cat food we need. It's nice having to make only one stop for our pet food needs.

I got home and the tank is pretty scratched up I mean scratches you can see I had it for 2 days now I've not put no water in it because I'm beside whether I'm going to bring it back and switch it out for another one or not

It was great here, honestly I appreciate the grooming services as much as I do their prices. Though there was a slight mess up with my dog, they apologized and paid for their mistakes. Which I appreciate more than anything. Will definitely come back when she grows fur out.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR FUR BABY FOR GROOMING HERE!!!When you take your baby boy Oreo for a bath and clean up around the face on New Eve to the Kernan/Atlantic store then ended in a VERY TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE.I waited and waited for Petco to call me to come pick him up, then after almost 3 hours a phone message from BLUE Pearl Veterinary Emergency Hospital saying they have Oreo in the E.R. bleeding. Afterwards Petco called to tell me about the accident. My point is, why did Petco not tell me about the incident first? My knees got so weak, and in tears. What would you do? Yes, they (Petco) paid for all the vet's fees! The groomer never apologized for what she did. Another employee told me accidents happen and he shrugged. Just like it is not a big deal!!! That is my baby they accidently nipped his eyelids very close to his eye. 😐😥🐶🤨🧐😲☹️ I feel like we are violated!!! After those hours they did not give my Boy Oreo a bath nor clean him up!!! ☹️😲🧐🤨🐶😥😐I am never going back to this store either to shop or grooming!!!❌️❌️❌️

Walked into Petco with our two kids and rottweiler puppy to get food and a new harness. While struggling to figure out what size harness I needed, a male employee immediately stepped over to help me keep control of our puppy while I tried on harnesses and finally found the right fit. Finally got it on him and moved onto food and a lovely woman named Laurie helped us find the food we were looking for and was super patient as my two year old decided to lead her over to look at the fish. Even the guy at check out was super nice. Overall, best experience I've had in a pet store in a long time.

Ronnie in the fish department was awesome. We had a bunch of questions about starting up a saltwater tank and he knew all the answers. Most pet stores don’t really have employees who have positive inputs on things or even very much helpful, but he was beyond helpful! We talked for awhile and he gave us the best advice. You could tell he really enjoys his job. Likely to return due to his positive impact.

Petco is the only store I’ve found to have both varieties of the Tidy Cat Breeze pellets. The enhanced one which I was wanting to try is what I came for. This store is very orderly I have noticed and not difficult to find help from associates.
