First I'll start by saying this, I never writer reviews, but the experience I had with Kim at Park Your Paws was so horrible, I had to warn others.This dog groomer was rude and unprofessional. My fiance brought our 6 month old puppy here for the second time. The first time was at 4 months, 1/27/24 , I brought her in and there was no problem. The second time was at 6 months, 4/ 6/24. My fiance brought her in, and I was on the phone with him. Upon arrival, she told my fiance, this dog is a "mess". She continued talking in an aggressive tone making it seem like we abuse our puppy. She stated " I don't want to hurt her, she's matted all over". (pic attached, photo taken 4/6/24 - she was not matted all over)Immediately, I asked my fiance to leave. My fiance was very apologetic ( trying to diffuse her aggression), telling her we will feel more comfortable going somewhere else, She continued verbally harassing my fiance as he was walking out the door saying, "if you take her anywhere else, they will say the same thing".We took our puppy to pet paradise two days later, and they were amazing. Regardless of the few matted areas on chest and under arms, they stated our puppy was no problem at all. They even gave tips on a specific comb to use that will help avoid matting, and recommended bringing her get groomed every month instead of every 2 months ( which we are happy to do so) . They also educated us that our puppy is growing into her adult coat , and showed how to get her more comfortable with brushing / combing difficult areas.The negativity from Park your paws was so uncalled for. As a "professional" you should be prepared to educate and advise, not ridicule and humiliate. the worst part about it is dogs can pick up on those bad vibes. I cant imagine how she would have handled my dog with the rude things coming out of her mouth.It's a shame because regardless of her price being more than the larger companies, We were willing to give her small business a chance. I'll never take my dog back their again, or recommend anyone else to either.

Park Ur Paws does an amazing job with our two fur babies! Not only is Kim a master groomer, we knew the very first time we took them to be bathed and groomed that she loves and cares for our pups as if they were her own. We've gone to other groomers on the rare occasion that Park Ur Paws wasn't open, and while they did a decent enough job it's just clear that Kim is a cut above (No pun intended) the rest! She just treats our dogs like they are special to her, and they come home looking like beautiful, glowing cherubs! Of course, Moxie is a little dirt devil and will roll around in the grass as soon as she gets home, but we are still working on that 🤣

We have been using Park Ur Paws for many years. Kim does such a great job on our Bichon and Morkiepoo. Not all groomers know how to groom a Bichon but Kim does. I have tried other groomers and no one grooms like Kim. She is patient and listens to what you want…. I love knowing I am getting a good groom everytime.

Took Germain Shepard (Sable) to vet approx. a month after her last visit to Park Ur Paws.Unsolicited comments from vet were very complementary on how good her teeth looked and clean her ears were as the vet ran fingers through Sables coat also commenting on coat.Vet then asked if professionally done.Park Ur Paws is definitely top notch professional.

We boarded our 3 dogs. They all have their own quirky issues but staff listened and took care of the dogs needs. My dogs seemed to take too staff fine which made my wife more relaxed about leaving them. Fair price.

Very kind couple of people working this facility. My dog has some anxiety issues and has had past groomers mistakenly ruin her coat. This group takes the time, loves the animals, and gives great service and pricing. Would recommend this group.

Not sure about the grooming services I’m sure they’re great but not pleased with their boarding arrangements. Dogs are contained for practically 24hrs a day with maybe 3 bathroom breaks? If you pay extra for playtime dog is essentially let out for an additional 15mins per addition purchased by themselves. I also don’t believe the staff are present the full workday. We requested an extra day due to delays in travel plans and when we requested 12pm pickup we were requested to pickup at either 9am or 2pm leading me to believe that’s due to no one being available at the time we requested. They also don’t allow you in the back to see where your dog is being held (found that out at pickup after we deduced how things are run) and none of this information is freely given we had to figure it out or ask. All in all if you want your dog to be somewhere safe and let out to use it I guess this is cool but we would’ve preferred a better experience for our boy. I take responsibility for not asking enough questions.

My pup (ok he isn’t a puppy - he’s a big boy!) needed to get his nails cut on a Saturday morning and I was able to get him in without an appointment even though they were pretty busy!My boy has some hip issues and they were able to work with him and he got a feisty and took a nip at the groomer just as she was finishing up and I was willing to take him with just 3 paws - it was my boy - he is a grump - but instead the groomer was able to slip a muzzle over his snout and finish his last paw with no issue (when I got home I saw that he had a cut on his paw that his little brother probably gave him from rough housing!)I don’t know of many places that would have taken him such short notice with his hip issues and then dealt with his grumpiness and that he nipped.Amazing and highly recommend!

We were in town to attend a family function and had to board our girls for the day. Park Ur Paws was close to the facility we would be using and when I read the reviews I felt confident they would take good care of our babies. (I don't like to leave my girls with people I don't know.)I was impressed from the minute I walked in! The shop was clean, and Ms. Kim was wonderful to work with. My girls can sometimes balk when I try to take them into a "spa", but they went right up to her and seemed comfortable right from the get go! When we picked them up about 5 hours later, they were happy ... and tired! A plus for the long drive home!They had met some new friends, had lunch, a paw-a-cure, and had made several trips outside to play.I just cannot say enough about Park Ur Paws. If we ever need a puppy service in Jacksonville again, I will gladly trust Park Ur Paws with their care again. It was a wonderful experience for everyone.

Super nice owners. They are reasonably priced and offer a wide variety of services. Grooming visits are comprehensive and they won't ever get you with tacked on services. I've only ever used their grooming services and they are happy to discuss how you want your dog groomed and they keep notes on record for return visits.

I've taken my Maltese Poodle mix to several other groomers before I stumbled upon this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the facility is so clean, organized, and well maintained. Right when you step through the door there is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They do great work every time I take my dog Casper to get his hair cut! I would definitely recommend these fine people to anyone who is looking for a caring, competent, and friendly groomer. They also do boarding and I also had a great experience on this end as well. They showed me where my dog would stay and how they would care for them and it was all top notch! The people here deserve a 10/10 without a doubt in my mind.

Boarded my dog while out of town during Thanksgiving and he was in good health when I returned. The owner is very nice but the prices are little high but was in a bind. Nice clean facility from the areas that I was able to see.
