Y’all been open for over a year and it’s still basically nothing in the store , I couldn’t even get a drink from the refrigerator at the register , cashiers sit on there phone , last night buddy wasn’t even at his register so ppl was confused on where to go smh YALL gotta do better !

Usually I go in there and the people are extremely friendly. That must be the dayshift. But tonight I get there at 9:45 and the doors are already locked and the worker has the audacity to flip me off. that is why she (both of them) will always be working at family dollar. We all get up go to work and some of us don’t like our jobs. But some of us work through that. And closing the store that you’re in charge of 15 minutes early because you wanna get off early to do whatever on a Friday. Lazy. My reason for going into the store: to feed all of the feral cats that linger around there. I don’t have cats, which means I don’t have cat food. Which means I need to buy cat food. When this whole neighborhood is gentrified (happening as we speak) and the family, dollar is taken away - remember that you didn’t want to be there anyway.

This family Dollar have some of the worst customer service people's I ever seen in my life very nasty attitudes 90% of them, I asked one of them and I'm pretty sure it was like the manager assistant manager where was the mass masking tape she gave me a look that made me sick to the stomach I didn't do nothing but turn around and walked away, I would never in my life go into that store again

Since getting new workers, store has severely gone downhill. Workers are very lazy and don't want to do their jobs! Lines are constantly long and they will not open two lines. Female cashiers call men to help and male workers just stand around doing nothing! They are supposed to close at 10 but one of the workers closes store a whole hour early because she doesn't want to work. Same woman is constantly on phone talking instead of doing her job! Only good worker is one of the males from the old crew! Very disappointed!!! Hire workers that actually will do their job!!!

I hate this hood store. Super unprofessional there. They close whenever they want to. The sign says from 8 am to 10 pm are their hours of operation. If u go there anytime AFTER 9 pm they have the doors locked while they are preparing themselves to go home. I see other disgruntled customers pull up and leave in frustration because of this. I live in the neighborhood and this happens ALL the time. Just change the sign and the store hours to 8 am to 8:59 pm then we all wud know better.

This is one of the worstd Family Dollar that exists. Not only did they close down for weeks upon weeks you go there at 8:10pm and they have the doors locked! They state they're open til 10! When I knocked on the door and asked why the door was locked a woman just looked at me and walked off. All this when they were checking out someone at the register!!!

Name brand items deeply discounted are enough motivation to earn my business. Our last visit took longer to checkout because the receipt generator had broken down. Our cashier was very apologetic for the delay and kept her cool 😎 when the customer ahead of us was rude and had just read the article on how to use every cuss word known to man in one sentence. She again apologized for the delay and wasn't sure how to fix the problem. I told her just to say they didn't pay her enough to utilize her engineering degree to fix it. She was very personable and an asset to the company.

This family$$ is well stocked, clean, and organized. I'm thankful for the efficient cashiers. And, I appreciate that it's a "skip-hop and a-jump" away from where I stay!

I am offended by Jessica's post. I don't appreciate how a person can lie like that on a business and the employees. First thing is that the employees don't have any control over the condition of the building and I have never had a problem with anyone who works there. Everyone is always polite and respectful and I'm glad that we have a store to shop at in our neighborhood.

I went into this location with my husband, and we saw 3 live rats running across the floor near the bathrooms. We informed the associate at the register, and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "okay." This is absolutely disgusting, and extremely unsanitary. I wouldn't purchase anything from this location; rats carry diseases. We have already made a complaint with corporate, and will look into taking further action.

My experience as far as the items that purchase and found promptly which is fine as usual but I really have to go to the bathroom I just gotten off work caught the bus stop to pick up a few things and the bathroom was out of order and I find that unacceptable especially if I'm a customer buying purchases I feel if the bathroom is out of order it should be fixed immediately so that the customer does not have to suffer

The hours of operations for this place says that they close at 10:00 p.m. I got there at about 9:35 p.m. and they already had the door locked where noone could get in. Myself, another guy that pulled up in his vehicle, and three more people that walked there was all thinking the same thing that I was thinking, that they close at 10pm. Needless to say, we all were a little upset. Totally unacceptable! I ended up going a mile or 2 down the road to another Family Dollar that close at 10:00 p.m. also, I got there at about 9:45 p.m. I walked right in with no problem, got what I needed, paid, and left with no problems.

Well stocked, clean, and friendly employees. The area surrounding this location may appear rough, but this Family Dollar is better than any other location within a 10 mile radius. I go very frequently and 99 out of 100 times they have what I need.

THIS cashier at the 2610 North Main street Jacksonville. Location who is there now this morning. 10/22/2018. Who has LONG DREAD LOCKS COLOR at the end blond..Am a disabled VETERAN WITH A BROKEN ANKLE...given her the money on the counter top while trying to maintain my balance. I put the money on the counter top and slit it to. Her she got so mad at me for doing that witch I thought was no disrespect to her..Well she told me the that was so disrespectful to her....She told the MONEY and ran it up then TURNED HER BACK TO ME WITHOUT GIVING ME A SHOPPING BAG..I ASK AND SHE THROW IT ON ME..I WANT THIS CASHIER LADY GONE FIRED FROM THERE. ASAP. THIS HAPPEN TODAY ON 10/22/2018 AT 10:20. THIS MORNING....

I walked in the store to purchase trash bags, and needed to use the restroom. The employee pointed the door out for me and I witnessed 3 rats running around on the floor in the main part of the store. I told the employee and all he said was, "Okay," and acted like he could care less. This is extremely unsanitary and disgusting.

Great staff, but I had a matter with a coupon for toilet paper, the discount was good till the 12/ 28/19 but it was not on the coupon app. Recieced no help from the cashier.

I like it's close to my house, friendly staff, but when ur sick and they dont want to answer the phone, which they never do, makes me want to go else where to get honey so I don't have a take a chance on them not having any and having to go else anywhere anyway.
