My experience today was phenomenal . The owner and Naomi were so so kind .i seriously wanted to give him a bear hug but didn’t wanna scare him so I refrained. I gave him the nick name PJ (pop jr) since he doesn’t look old enough to be the pop at the mom and pop business . He was so knowledgeable about the food my puppies need and what would fit my budget .(which is an extremely tight one ) they were both so patient . I’ was on my way into my usual pet store but I’m so glad I decided to take a detour today . I have found a place I can trust and also feel welcomed to. Honestly they give a family kind of vibe .. support our local business at earth pets!

I found earth pet when I went into Saint Bernard hospital for my puppies vet vaccines. Next day went in to earth pets market, just grab a couple of treats and ended up meeting Steve the owner. Steve had very extensive knowledge of anything dog or cat nutrition related. Any questions I had about my German shepherd puppies nutritional needs, Steve had it. He quickly explained to me the difference between the generic Purina pro plan puppy chow and the natural farmina N&D puppy chow. He also recommend chew treats for my puppies teething, training treats and other treats. Everything in there is all natural. When I got home I looked at the difference in the nutritional value of Purina pro plan and farmina N&D. The protein in the Farmina is almost DOUBLE! What Purina had. Not to sound weird but i smelt the purina and the farmina and there is such a big night and day difference. I've had labs my whole life and always used generic but now listening to Steve I've officially moved over to what he recommends and for good reason, just look on the back of the package and you can even smell the difference. I LOVE this place and drive all the way from St Augustine just to shop here. They have the cleanest product of any type you are looking for-treats, raw food, supplements, etc. You know if you are getting your pet's food here, that it is the best on the market. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable in TCM types of foods to feed if you are taking a holistic approach with your pets. I used to take my dog here every year on his birthday as they have lots of unique bones, bully sticks, and treats you can't find elsewhere and without all of the fillers. I always let the staff know, and they made it super special! Always a great experience and fantastic, friendly customer service. If you are looking for the best for your pets, look no further. I hope they'll open a location in St. Augustine soon!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. This is the only pet store I trust to buy my puppy’s food. The customer service is absolutely AMAZING, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such great customer service. They will help you pick out the right food and treats for your dog. It shows that they genuinely care about you and your pets’ health.

I love the Earth Pet Stores! they have great, healthy treats for your animals and top of the line foods and supplies. I love giving the Vanilla Chunky Cheeks to my dog and the freezedried salmon treats to my cats. They all love the treats from Earth Pets!

I love that everything sold in this store can be sourced. If the orgins of the product cannot be traced, the store will not sell it. I believe most, if not all products are made in the U.S. I also enjoy shopping here because the store is locally owned and operated. I have discovered many new food and treat products here. One of my fur babies was experiencing medical issues with anemia and constipation. I switched her diet from what I believed was high quality dry kibble, to the dehydrated, human grade food made by Honest Kitchen and noticed improvement within a week. By the second week both issues had resolved themselves. We are now just beginning our second box of food and it seems that this will be the food of choice. It is a little pricey considering each box last about 45 days (if you have a toy or small breed dog) depending on how much your pet eats. However, the improvements with my pet's health and just knowing that she is getting quality food has justified the price in my opinion.

I needed to find yet another cat food for my incredibly picky lil monsters. Earth Pets has a fantastic selection of some of the best foods available for cats & dogs. What's most impressive to me was the amount of time & care the manager took w me, explaining ingredients, guiding me to food that will keep my 2 healthy etc. I'm really happy to have found them. Outstanding customer service and selection & I was pleased to find the prices were v competitive; what more could you want 🤩

Great foods and toys for all types of pets. Privates are average to high, but you can find many treats and foods not found elsewhere. Staff is friendly and seems knowledgeable about their products. Many gourmet foods for the kiddies.

I've been coming here for atleast a couple of years and have never had a bad experience. All the staff are wonderful and educated about the products that they carry. Melissa is so nice & personable! I am always given a friendly greeting upon entering the store. The owner, Steve, is amazing. I am so happy to support a local business (not corporate). The service that is given is nothing less than excellent and they show their customers appreciation including through loyalty points which equates to a dollar amount. I recommend Earth Pets to anyone looking for honest, clean food options and healthy pet products!!

I love getting my dog supplies here. Steve always welcomes you in with a smileand he is very knowledgeable about foods and dog care. We have been getting our food through chewy for almost a year now. But I made the decision to start getting my food from him specifically to support a local business. As a small business, they can't always directly price match with the big guys. But it's worth paying the few extra dollars to stay local. I also love that there are occasional dog friendly events there. The store is very close to my house so we are looking forward to the next one! Keep up the awesome work Steve!

I love having this place in my neighborhood! I love all the different all-natural options they have available. Every time I come in I find a new product or brand I want to try - all of which my two dogs have loved so far. We have an older Golden who has been struggling lately. Steve and his team made some recommendations and made us feel at ease with the decision to begin using hemp chews and CBD oils. One of his staff members Amanda went out of her way to ensure we were able to get a specific product timely. I am happy to say our almost 12 year old 100 pound BIG BOY is doing wonderfully and we look forward to allowing him to live his best life with the help of our Earth Pets family :)

Our bulldogs have multiple food allergies. Steve has helped me find the correct food for them and it has helped our dogs tremendously. He has assisted me with choosing treats that fit their needs to even making changes in foods to get the correct one and is extremely knowledgeable about the items he carries in store.You will not find this in any large retailer. You will not find this selection in any large retailer.The team here is extremely helpful every time I come in. They are consistent.They carry only the best products.I cannot explain enough how much feeding a quality food will keep your pets healthy, but also keep your pets healthy for many years. Such a great place. The owner really helped us find the right high quality, grain free cat food to help support our older kitty who has GI cancer. Thanks to the medication and fantastic diet, our kitty is now in remission. Highly recommend Earth Pets.

Stephen and his staff are always second to none when it comes to your pets holistic needs. They are all well versed in the options available and their benefits as it applies to your pet. They do not try to promote one brand over the next just what makes sense in your budget. Prices are very competitive especially given few carry the brand's that they do. I appreciate that they stay up-to-date on pet food and products and refuse to carry and unreputable brands. I have been a customer since they opened the first store in Gainesville, FL. High-quality products for your pets. If you give your pets quality food, bath with shampoo that isn't harmful, and don't expose them to dangerous treats and toys, you will save money by going to the vets less and your pets will live a high-quality life, longer. I learned a ton about dogs from their founder Guy Webster, who cares deeply about animals. My dogs have all loved going their and shopping. I strongly recommend!
