I come here multiple times a week and I'd just like to point out one employee. Her name is Tosha, she's THE sweetest, most hard working lady ever! She is there on weekends, holidays, double shifts, running the store seemingly alone. She truly does it all and I'd just like to say I appreciate the service from this dollar general!

They did a recent remodel and the store is looking great! There is a male manager there that is very friendly and out going. It seems the other workers are happy working with him (which makes a big difference in customer service). If your employees are happy, then your customers will be happy.They have a lot of farmhouse home decor, so if you like that new decoration trend this is the place to find some great deals!I just moved to the area and am so happy to find this close to home.

The service could be better ! But that go back to the hiring manager . So if your employees aren't meeting customers service level that it should be then that will explain what kind of manager the store has . I haven't been in one yet where I was even greeted upon entrance .

Who doesn't like a $1 store? Where you can get just about everything you need for only 100 cents. For me it's one of the best things ever, especially when you like shopping for little trinkets, party and holiday decor for cheap. Establishment is noticeable in traffic and can have the tendency to have long wait times in line due to the fact that everyone loves to get more for less.

Went into Dollar general because they had some good deals with the coupon app so after the gentleman rung up my stuff he didn’t give me a receipt so I ask for one and he told me the machine not working.The manager was not helpful at all she came to the front just to help the other people and didn’t care for my situation.I could have save over $20 with my coupons but because they didn’t care I didn’t received any of the discounts.They have bad customer service

Looking for something inexpensive but still quality this is the place. I have found several things as rugs for the bathroom or flower pots with the bag of soil needed. Fall decorations or candles always something.

Theres a rude older lady who work the register with long dreads. she lacks social skills and customer service and for her age that is terrible. she wanted me to hurry up and put my stuff on the counter for her to ring up and wasnt even done with the customer in front of me. the lady didnt even pay for her stuff yet but she wanna nastily rush me to put my stuff up. rude to me and the customer before me as if the customer before me was moving too slow as well. Then when i said something about her rudeness she was saying she dont wanna go to jail today, today is sunday.Shes just Loud and wouldnt do anything even if it was monday

I can say depending on who's working the checkout does get cleaned off but the employees have a I just work here attitude. They are not friendly or helpful and the store could use some cleaning.

Good, but the cashiers have no since of customer service. Customer shouldn't have to wait for employees to serve each other and have conversation while full cost customer service.

Dollar General Store locatedEdgewood Ave, Jax Fl. Mr Carter Refused to accept this dollar from me stating the bank would not accept it. He even turned to another associate and asked her if he should accept the turn dollar??? Really?? She looked blank, he turned back to me and said No. We voided a $20.00 purchase because Dollar General at the above location was too STINGY and MONEY HUNGRY. I only had 20 -1 dollar Bill's on me! I asked for district managers phone number, well he never called me back, I even sent him photo of torn dollar, no response, but that's ok, I left there and Family Dollar didnt have any problems accepting it.

Worthless workers. Incompetent. Picking and choosing WHAT days that they want to offer which services. That's alright. I called corporate. They should be recording a phone call, if not a stop by, sometime soon.
