The lack of customer service by a “manager” female, dark hair. Ms. ma'am will be on her phone having a full conversation without acknowledging you. Every time I’m in here she’s on the phone. She’s loud, ghetto and obnoxious. I asked what my total was and she caught an attitude and said look there but the idiot didn’t know the screen was turned her way. She just kept talking on the phone. Y’all could do so much better!

This is one of the Cleanest Dollar General stores I have visited! The isles were clear of possible obstacles that can cause accidents. All items were in place, things looked so beautiful, I went to find the store manager Mr. Michael, so I could tell him how beautiful his store from outside Entrance to inside.He was Awesome, immediately understood why this store is beautiful! He Cares!!!!

Bought fan one day ago brought it home it didn't work went back to exchange an the lady knew it came from Dollar general an because the receipt was lost but writing on box an the lady was there who rung it up refused to give me one that worked please do no but appliances they don't work an your stuck paying top dollar for nothing that works

Normally I would give this store a high rating but not this time. I know they have their issues with theft and the company needs to address that appropriately. Maybe they should hire a guard for the door. But now it's closed. One of the glass sliding doors is replaced with plywood. This store has been mismanaged for a long time. As a matter of fact they don't have a store manager there's an assistant manager that's it. It needs a proper store manager and it needs a security guard. I've seen it done in other stores around the country. I've lived in 12 different U.S. cities. I don't know what their issue is but these companies need to step up!!!So I reviewed this place a while back and they've since placed a lovely lady as manager but she's frustrated with the lack of qualified employees who want to work. I like and admire her so much I'm applying for a part-time position at the store to help her out. It still takes community to make things work! Wish us luck.

I was coming in to shop as I’m up the street washing clothes. I had to use the restroom the young man upfront working the register as about to help me and tell me where it was but then. The manager (or whoever she was with her rude no customer service old decrepit behind with that 1994 red lipstick everybody and they mammy used to wear back them n that one gold tooth) gon jump in say very rudely “we ain’t got no restrooms for customers” cutting the boy off. This is ridiculous she in the wrong neighborhood with that attitude. She should be thankful I had to pee cuz the only reason I ain’t cuss her something bad was cuz I was afraid I may pee my pants. She needs training on how to talk to people.

This dollar store manager deserves a raise. On June 19,2022 she has a store full of customers she was running two cash registers by herself then the air conditioner wasn't working and she still had a good attitude. Most others might have walked out. She did a fantastic job.

I love Dollar General it has things in their store that are price well. If you haven't seen the mirrors in their store you are missing a good buy. Their candles are very nice it doesn't smell like Yankee Candles but the smell is above average and they do last long. If you want to buy something out of the server aisles try to wait until the first of the month sometimes you can get a bargain.

Walked in the first time cashier and worker looked at me. No issue. Worker even talked to my wife. No issue. I walked out and came back in and they yelled at me to put a mask on. I told them the governor stated we don’t have to wear one. Regardless of having to or not, there were other people in the store that weren’t the same race as me without masks. They yelled at me for the whole 2 minutes I was in the store to put on a mask. I told them we’re checking out and we’ll be gone. So their response was “we’re not serving you if you don’t have a mask”. What does that accomplish? You not serving me protects us against a virus? No it doesn’t. Y’all working in there need to ask politely for people to wear a mask not demand it and yell at us. Completely uncalled for especially when you’re not even being consistent. I guess because we weren’t the same race we were targeted. Because the other people not wearing masks had no issues. I work in retail too, and I get it, you’re in mask jail per your supervisor. But don’t target based on color and don’t yell at people with demands.

Dollar general has come a long way!!! We were greeted at the door.its good to be acknowledged. Not hardly any boxes in the isles which used to be a problem. Clean and friendlyI would definitely come back.they have done a job.

I love the fact that I can get gift cards for just about anything here including Amazon. I also like the fact they are a one stop shop. You can get everything from clothes to groceries from the same store and you don't have to walk ten miles to get to the store and there is never a long line to get what I want. They are also pretty reasonable with their prices.

I was only in for a few minutes to pick up a specific item on Thanksgiving Day. I am not in a Dollar General often but I was happy to find this one neat and tidy and everything easy to locate. The sales associate at the register was friendly and quick making my needed stop a breeze.

It was very nice and clean. Very good selection and all was clean and easy to find everything put where it should be. But like the customer in front of me told the cashier a smile wouldnt hurt. Not very friendly workers not greeted at the door and manager could care less walking around just to walk around. This was night staff.

Don't let my 3 stars mislead you. I simply gave that rating as there are several pros and cons to this location. The good and the bad kind of even themselves out, which isn't a great thing, but like I said, it's not all bad.Pros: They have some AWESOME prices when it comes to beauty products (makeup/nail& haircare - minus hair color/treatments) and the products being as affordable and downright cheap as they are; it's surprising at how good the quality of those items turn out to be!The cons: I've never waited less that 15 mins in line at this location Which isn't the stores fault persay, they generally stay pretty busy. But there are a few chatty kathy types behind the register, that will then act like you've inconvenienced them by simply being the next person in line needing to check out after their conversation buddy leaves the line..🙈 The store is also almost always cluttred with items needing stocked. Or stuff that must be overflow/returns etc.. but the final and BIGGEST no no when it comes to this specific location? **They've been selling OUT-OF-DATE ITEMS! I get the same brand&flavor of cat treats everytime the two slackers that live rent free need more.. I purchase the same kind for my meow-sters (meow monsters lol) bc they're incredibly picky- aka spoiled- eaters and will only eat the "Temptations" brand - "Cat nip" or "seafood medley" flavored. On my last trip to grab some yesterday, I noticed that they had the $2 off sticker on the front that you peel off to give to the cashier. Well when I gave the coupon to the cashier they then told me that I couldn't use it because it was expired. 🧐🤔 I was like, "how can it be expired when I legit just took it off the outside of the treats?" And that's when she looked at the Expiration-Date and they were almost 2 months past!! She then went to the shelf and pulled out all of them, and low and behold, they were all out of date.. So when I got home, I looked at the empty box my terrorist had just finished and I'll be damned- ALSO EXPIRED 😭 So plz, plz, plz: check those dates and don't end up feeding your family members expired food like I did. As for the tiny terrorists, only one has vomited so far and I'm keeping a watchful eye. she has regurgitation issues sometimes so I'm not going to blame the exp product just yet unless the other starts to as well. Then it'll be off to the vet for us! 😐😑

Ever since Mrs.Crystal left 3801 N main store hasn’t been the same. Parking lot always nasty no shopping carts inside floor’s stay filthy no products on shelves employees are talking on their cell phones. Don’t know who’s in charge they are way over there head. Mrs.Crying was the best thing ever

The cashier was fast and when the line got long the other worker opened up another register. That was impressive; they didn't just ignore the fact that people was standing in line waiting pay for their items.

I visit here often because its in my neighborhood however the new cashier with the brown short hair and glasses is BIG rude . I asked her to price check a item for me and she instantly got upset sucked her teeth then she snatched the price checking device scan the item and slam the device down. I asked her what was her problem she tells me she tired....i dont appreciate getting treated like that.. ill never return

Really small cramped. Cash registers are in an awkward place. Lines are long with one cashier, so if your in a hurry this is not a quick in and out. Try different times of the day or week. The selection they have seems decent for what you may need and the store was clean.

The employees were the friendliest. Although this trip they didn't have the flavor of an item i was seeking, the team member took the time to give me the Reader's Digest version of the delivery system and I was alright with that.

My daughter who is 3 years old needed to use the restroom and I was told no one can use the bathroom due to Covid-19. There was no sign stating that. I cannot spend money in an establishment that I can't use the bathroom. This is the first store I've experienced this. Very unacceptable and when asked for the store manager "she's on vacation". I will not be shopping there.

My experience here is always a good one, sometimes funny. The manager Ms. Crystal is always nice and makes sure to keep the drama out, and don't think you are coming in her store without a mask.

First off this location was dirty, secondly the lines were so long because their cash register machine will not working correctly. They had six people up there one person was changing shift and leaving all chit-chatting. I've never given a bad review on a dollar store but this was the worst.

The store is extremely clean well stock however the ice cream and popsicle. Freezers were duct tape. So you could not open the coolers doors because they were not working and many of the frozen and Refrigerator item were thawed out and couldn't be sold to the public. Sad because this was my favorite store I was so disappointed that I couldn't get many items that was on sale and it was 97' degrees hot just sad! No one said anything about my said shopping experience with Dollar General!

This was the best Dollar General I've been in since living in Jacksonville!! The store was immaculate!!! The manager was going around blocking the store!! She spoke to me, the cashier at the front was so polite!!! I wish this store was closer to me because the ones that are close to me are HORRIBLE!!!

The store manager Crystal was the worst customer service I have had in a long time. I asked for change back in which she replied I need my money until Tuesday. It wasn't the fact that she didn't have the change to give me it was how rudely she put it to me after I spent $22 in her store with swiping my card. Also the other customer service professional Rhonda aided in her unprofessionalism. I asked for corporates number she told me it was on the receipt it was not, so I called the store and asked what the customer service number was and she replied to me that she didn't know. As a store manager you don't know you're corporate number that's denying me corporate, she continued to say baby sweetheart don't scream at me I don't know it and hung up. Just because we are on this side of town and just because it is Main Street does not give you the Liberty nor the authority to be as rude as you were especially as a store manager. I called back and asked Rhonda who the store manager was and she replied of course Miss Crystal, so I asked to her boss was and it was Andy they did not know how to get in contact with Andy nor did either od them no the corporate number, I find that hard to believe so you did not me corporate twice along with hanging up in my face. This was the worst customer service like I said I have had in a very long time not only am I going to call corporate on Tuesday I'll be riding a Better Business Bureau review of Yelp review a website review and I'll probably go on Twitter and I've already gotten on Facebook Crystal store manager you need to go home today you don't feel like being at work today I'm sorry for you does not mean that you're rude to other people take your behind home. I expect a call or response from corporate or management in either form because that was outright ridiculous and not only did she do it to me she did it to another customer who walked in the door and also ask for change put up a sign and be polite about it because at the end of the day you are inconveniencing us because you didn't go to the bank and get enough money that you needed to to last you through the holidays don't be rude about it to me I will be calling corporate ASAP

We are OTR truckers delivering a load nearby in a small delivery truck. It’s 9:15 pm on a Thursday and the store is closed. We wouldn’t have driven here if you hadn’t advertised closing time as 10pm. 2 cars in the parking lot. A man in an older beat up blue minivan told us the store was closed for the night as we were checking the doors and found them locked

So cluttered isles you cant get through any isles. The stockers need to do that and have all isles clear b4 store opens. I personally will never go back there
