The employees get smart with customers in an attempt to get them to engage in a hostile manner when it is they who are rude and insulting to the general public. The owner needs to do a much better job of screening his applicants', but it is just 7/11 so I'm sure he doesn't have any scholars applying.

I actually like this store, the employees are always nice and the "fresh food" is decent. Yes, there is a homeless problem outside the store, but it's downtown Jax. You're going to see homeless people, especially late at night.Overall, not a bad store to stop by if you're not terrified of homeless or people who live different lives than you lol.

I have to wait for a bus by this corner store early in the morning around 6am. There's homeless u have to step over or a crowd of 4-8 ppl outside begging for money or to buy them coffee which the owner now plays music for them to enjoy. This morning I got to witness a homeless girl and guy argue in line for 5 mins. Then when I tried to pay fory stuff, I got called cracker, honkie, all the classics, did the employee say for them to leave or call police. Nope!! I even suggested to call police and a few CUSTOMERS in line and he said no that won't work. So if you like your life at risk when buying coffee please visit the lovely 7-11.

The man that runs this store is very professional polite and helpfulIt is downtown Jacksonville so there is always something going on, the homeless run the streets all day and they mess up alot of stores but not this one. They stay on it. They have fresh food and professional workers..line is enormous but faster than McDonald's

This is a location I frequent several times a week. Normally everything is fine in there. However, I went into the store today to get something to drink and a small snack. There were no napkins in any of the dispensers. So when I asked the associate for napkins, he responded with," Hello, good morning, were you going to greet me first?" It was very rude and abrasive and had nothing to do with my question. I do not like staying in the store for long because of the homeless population in the area. All I wanted was napkins and I get treated rudely for asking for them since they were not stocked anyway. I'm sure the turnover rate is high here because it's always someone new if not the owners. Please hire people with manners. Because I am not particularly fond of most of the employees aside from the owners because their behavior and demeanor.

The guy in the store had everybody sitting outside while he sat behind the cash register because he didn't want to run the store by himself. Sometimes you have to run the store by yourself that should not be excused to have the door locked and a whole bunch of people waiting outside. Why a whole bunch of people is outside he has a homeless man in there talking to him on the inside so I'm pretty sure he has some help. And they let the homeless sit in the store and around the store all day 24/7

The operator and his wife are wonderful. It's a very tough location Downtown Jacksonville. They are alway extremly polite and it is obvious they try and keep things clean and operating smoothly.As in most City's today the homless have become overwhelming. The City allows these homless criminals to loiter around the store daily ON CITY SIDEWALKS. I take my hat off to the couple running this location. They do their very best. The Mayor of the City has abandoned the Owners and Tennant's that rent locations Downtown Jacksonville You do not see homless Criminals loitering around City Hall.GREAT JOB TO THE COUPLE RUNNING THIS LOCATION!

Two stars only because the clerk was very pleasant and accommodating. I have to say though, the location had some very undesirable individuals lurking outside. After my purchase leaving the store one of the people obviously noticed I had bought cigarettes and asked for one. I obliged, then two others piped up asking. After I refused, the tone got aggressive and they badgered me about having a full pack, and I said that I intended on enjoying the rest of my pack. Another then started making anti-gay comments to one of my employees that took the walk with me to the location. Just looking for trouble. Had I not been standing in the middle of 5 other people he was more than likely associated with I would loved to set him straight myself. Convenient location, but, I'll be making inconvenient trips in the future. Feel free to roll the dice.

Niki called me an a-hole because I wanted to buy a carton of cigarettes and would have been all of that particular one and refused to sale them to me.. even another customer laughed at her . And then to insult the customer for wanting to buy your product

This is a convenient location for breakfast and lunch items for me. Close to where I work. I agree that there is a lot of riff raff hanging around outside. Sometimes it's not very pleasant to walk through to get into the store. Clerks and customers have always been polite. They tried the red rope system and I guess it didn't work very well because it's gone now. I haven't had any problems with this location except one time that I ordered hash browns and chicken poppers and they were both tough to chew - I had to throw them away and have no lunch that day.

People take cuts in line because the store will not setup a velvet rope. I will not go there ever again as people are taking cuts happens EVERY TIME I have been there. If you do not want to walk out ANGRY without your purchases, then do not go there.
