One of our favorite places to go in the Keys. They carry so many cool fishing gears, snacks, toys, sunglasses and apparels. We always buy nice shirts, caps and my husband’s fishing gears.Store is very beautiful and you can go inside the boat or enjoy the mini aquarium too.Outside of the store, Bayside marina is a beautiful place to walk around to watch the birds and sometimes you can see manatees.

The Pilar boat graces the center of this large nautical store. A go to store for me for sports wear. Pricing is not bad especially with sales items. There is a large selection of fishing gear.The pier and the restaurant adjacent makes this a very popular tourist spot, although, with the vast areas to roam around it's not been very crowded. The cute fish lines in the parking lot are fun. The wood and glass doors open up to very clean and organized sales floor. The beautiful wood elevator goes up to additional floor for women and children's clothes and other gifts. Love the white rocking chairs outside for guests to relax and watch the boats or wait for fellow shopping guests.

Wow! This is the most interesting fishing store I have ever seen.Here there is everything without missing a detail.It's like a museum, old photos, impressive decoration, everything correctly arranged, and of course the most professional staff, any question or doubt, they have an answer.It is one of the hottest parts of tourism in the area. There's a Marina, to reserve your fishing boat, there's a bar, there's a great bait shop, really everything you need for your day of fishing.Buy, learn, enjoy and continue on your way.Fascinating.

If you're looking for a place to buy your fishing gear and apparel in Islamorada, you need to stop by Bass Pro Shops. Surprisingly, it was reasonably priced, given the area. Wide selection of tackle and gear for whatever you're fishing for and plenty of fishing apparel to look your best! It has its own restaurant and marina too. Very clean store and friendly staff. Highly recommend this store.

This has to be the most fantastic bass pro shop I have ever visited. If you’re driving through the keys make this a stop. Spend a couple hours. Everything you need for your trip is here for sure but it’s much more than that. Part store, part museum. Really a lot of fun to wander around in. Head out the back and check out the bar. You can grab a cold one a check out the tarpon! Marina is beautiful too

This World Wide Sportsman is amazing, it was a great fish tank with a lot of diversity and a big triple tail. One worker did call the sheriff on me and said i was banned from the store and marina after i caught one of the tarpon. It put up a great fight and i am grateful for the opportunity. Don’t fish in the marina because the workers will trespass you though.

Even if you don't need anything you should stop just to see this place. They have Mr. Hemingway's old boat in the middle of the store. You are able to climb on it and look around. It was pretty cool to see such an old boat and the craftsmanship from back then. They also have a large saltwater tank full of fish. There are some amazing views from the lounge on the second story.

Its not all food always, gotta shop sometimes. Love these stores. Have great gear, plus they are awesome just to visit. Each one has a different theme varying on the region they are in. Some items are a bit pricey, but overall good quality.

Has everything you would need to fish for guppies or sharks. Staff is available all around the store and is knowledgeable about fishing the local area. They have a variety of rods for all skill levels and bait available outside near the pier.If you have kids, check out the fish tank in the back!

Great store! The moment we walked in we were greeted by two of the most personable staff I’ve had the pleasure to meet in a long time. We discussed becoming club members and opened an account and started shopping. We went straight to the fishing poles and once again was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable young man who helped us pick out a Penn pole and reel as a Christmas gift. We continued to shop and enjoy ourselves in this wonderful store. It was such an enjoyable experience until we were ready to checkout. It went from enjoyable to a frustrating disappointment. It was like they ran out of nice employees and this was the only one left to work the register. This man was rude, condescending, unfriendly and literally acted like he couldn’t care less. My husband was trying to type in a lengthy code from the account we just opened to get our discount and it was not going thru. The employee condescendingly says “You have to push the enter button.” He says this twice to my husband. My husband said “I did”. The employee’s condescending attitude began to irritate my husband who finally told this employee “You do it.” I went to the front of the store to seek help from the two other employees who had signed us up. They were ready to assist in informing this man of the discounts available. Folks, I’ve done my fair share of business in my 60+ years on the planet and over 40+ years as a Registered Nurse so I’ve dealt with a variety of personalities but this man has to be one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had in a store. His behavior was appallingly inappropriately rude towards us. I don’t understand how you can encounter so many nice, smiling and helpful employees then hit the proverbial brick wall on the way out the door. I am surprised he’s allowed to interact with the customers. We spoke with the manager who was friendly and listened attentively to our experience and assured us he would look into it. We will be returning to this store to receive additional discounts for opening an account. It will be interesting to see if this individual’s attitude has improved. He’s the only reason this review did not receive 5 stars.

Pricey place but very interesting to visit. Inside there's a full size boat similar to Hemingway's which you can explore. There's a nice restaurant on the second floor. In this shop you can find everything you need for fishing, boating, snorkeling. It's good to add this store in your list of places to visit even if you're not interested in. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable on the store products. It's a really good place :)

I always visit this place when I am in Florida Keys. It's very clean, employees are friendly. Outside where the at the harbor you there are restaurants and you can walk around board walk. You can also enjoy seeing those giant tarpons in lagood.

This is an incredible place for shopping and eating with an onsite Marina with glass bottom canoes/kayak/boat rentals/charters and a nice bar and floating restaurant in back with incredible sunsets here. Highly recommend.

One of the coolest Bass Pro Shops I've ever been inside. The centerpiece in the store is a replica of Ernest Hemingway's boat "Pilar" that you can walk through. There's also a fish tank, and other neat architecture here. Don't forget to go out back, and see all the tarpon from the docks.

Great stop, lots of cool things to check out in the store. In the lagoon outside, the tarpon are really fun to watch. We ate in the outdoor restaurant too - great food & service! This was a great stop for the afternoon!

Supposedly the very first store once Johnny Morris went through the motions of expanding. He lives across the street they say. Very well worth your time even though you may have a Bass Pro in your town. Make sure you walk out back if it is close to dusk to see the lighting effects and the Tarpon. I plan to eat at the restaurant next time. Enjoy checking out the old boat next door and also the one inside which I failed to get a picture of

Interesting place to visit. Take a walk along the docks. We saw tarpon, nurse sharks, jellyfish, and pelicans. There are free range chickens everywhere even on the patio at the restaurant! Replica of Hemingway's boat is inside and you can climb aboard. Glass elevator has a really great exterior. Recommend adding this to your list of places even if you're not interested in the store. Went back for happy hour. Margarita was good, conch fritters too doughy.

Wry nice place to visit and shop, the ladies at check out is very nice. I’ve been to many bass pro shops and had to stop here, as a pro member it is a great place to shop. The docks at the back is a must!

We always have to stop here on our trips to the keys. It's a fully stocked store with everything you could ever want for saltwater fishing. I love this store

An interesting place to stop on your way to Key West. Been to a lot Bass Pro Shops inland so this one was small compared to them but big in the standards of the Florida Keys. The only issue with this store is the parking lot. The spots are too tight together and not enough parking in general. People constantly honking and fighting to get in and out.

Beautiful store! Full sized replica of Hemingways boat. Great assortment of clothing, fishing gear and other stuff. Clothes were surprisingly reasonably priced.
