This is an adorable Florida paradise! We stayed in the Crane cottage with our dog and had a lovely stay for 3 nights! This is not a super touristy area, but is great for when you need a few days for restful quiet and a trip to the outdoors. Connie is a fabulous hostess and Nature Coast Inn is the cozy kitsch that brightens up Inglis! We enjoyed their delicious breakfast cafe and the pool and backyard make it extra welcoming.Admittedly, we would prefer the shower head to be a little higher, but the water pressure and temperature was perfect everytime, and the layout of the bathroom ensures privacy. Also, if you use hair tools, you will need to get creative in how you access a mirror and outlet simultaneously as there wasn't one visible in the bathroom, or near any of the mirrors in the main room, but I made it work! I still highly recommend staying at Nature Coast Inn, and we plan to come back and enjoy relaxing in another cottage!Rooms: Comfortable rooms with a cozy layout; lovely kitchenette with vintage inspired fridge and microwave, and a very useful toaster oven! The chairs are comfy for late night reading too!Food & drinks: The breakfast cafe had a simple menu but ensures something for everyone (minus vegan and gluten free options at first glance). The service is quick and friendly and our meals were hot and fresh!Noteworthy details: They provide a binder explaining amenities, nearby restaurants, and nature trails and attractions to visit! Our cottage was pet friendly which helped us greatly, and the grounds are well maintained!Connie is very friendly and quick to respond to questions and concerns, and she was proactive when we experienced an emergency.

This was my second visit and my dog, Nancy and I were just as pleased as with our first visit. Such a welcoming atmosphere, very low key . Connie welcomed us and made sure we had the best care. Room was great. Location superb. Old Florida at its best. We also enjoyed the company of Black Dog Charter, hence the water photos. A piece of paradise, and hopefully remains unspoiled for years to come. We will be back after summer!

This was an EXCELLENT place to stay! We stayed in The Paddlers Cottage almost a week and LOVED it! Connie went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The entire place was spotless, including the cafe. We ate at the cafe almost every morning, the homemade bread was sooo good we ordered two loaves to take with us. Prices were exceptionally affordable and Chase (our waiter) was a wealth of information about the area. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!! Five stars just isn’t enough! 😊❤️

Stayed at the Paddler's Cottage for 3 nights with friends. Beautiful, spacious grounds with clean, warm swimming pool and fire pit area. Chairs and tables outside to enjoy nature- bring bug spray for evenings. We enjoyed playing provided games in the game room.Comfortable beds and clean interior. Floor was swept, not washed. This unit has a mini kitchen: 5C coffee pot, small fridge, toaster, microwave and 2 burner electric hot plate. If you plan on cooking, ask for a few pans. Big shower and plenty of towels. The area is beautiful with many things to do and see.We enjoyed using the free kayaks- you must have a way to transport them. They also have bicycles. The cafe was open limited days and hours for breakfast- everything is home made, inclding the bread! The living room of the cafe is historic with beautiful historic furnishings and art. There is a loaner book shelf. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing experience at Nature Coast Cottages and Inn! We stayed in the inn and loved our room. Connie, the owner, was fantastic and accommodating. The kayaks on site to use allowed us to kayak off of Bird Creek Beach and then again to Three Sisters Swamp. We loved the proximity to fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Definitely visit the Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve if you're in the area. We will definitely be back!

The stay was quaint with endless amenities, Florida feels, and a very filling breakfast cafe. The highlight definitely had to be the heated salt water pool, and game room. Everyone around was very kind. State parks and Gulf of Mexico views were all in close proximity.P.S. their toilet paper is softer than ours….we will be back most definitely.

I wanted to get out of town and explore the area for fishing so we chose this place. I was skeptical at first because the room was 100.00 and an additional 50.00 for a cleaning charge. BUT, I am very happy because the room was very clean, and the whole property was fantastic !. The room was small but certainly just enough for my wife and I. We built a nice fire in the pit out back and relaxed. Down the road is an awesome to explore and fish. We will certainly stay there again someday, I'm wondering if we stay two days, would they wave the cleaning fee for the second day because we would not need it cleaned after the first day ?. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. I have some suggestions for the management/owners though, but still I rated 5 stars.I would move the room mirror to the other wall, and get a bigger TV.I would get a narrow table/bench for the foot of the bed.I very small table in the bathroom would be nice, there is room for it.The ice trays were stuck and they were broken, still we did get some ice though, maybe put a few bags of ice in the game room freezer as a backup. The ashes in fire pit needs to be cleaned out, it would look 10 times better with a good cleaning. The sink has a small leak at the bottom of the hot water knob.

While passing through we decided it was too late to make it back home. We found Nature's Coast through a quick Google search and called. Very sweet owner, excellent customer service, and a beautiful room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had the best sleep that night. We woke up to the smell of the delicious food cooking from the little Cafe downstairs. We couldn't wait to get downstairs and eat before we set out on our journey home. We have this placed saved for future stays. We highly recommend Nature’s Coast.

We rented one of the cabins. Just loved it! Small, comfy, clean. They thought of so many of the little touches! Adorable matching fridge and microwave, toaster oven, toaster, coffeepot with coffee, sugar & creamer, kitchen supplies, cook plate and pans, etc. Decor was old Florida and attractive. Bathroom is small but works. Well supplied. The grounds are clean, attractive and quiet. We will most definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful getaway! Your place was just what we needed.

I stayed at the inn a vintage property with character. Property manager Connie very helpful. The property itself has many areas for relaxation. Breakfast not complimentary but reasonable and well prepared. The location along CR 40 is close to Bird Creek beach and Nature Preserve as well as the Gulf itself where you can experience some awesome sunsets!

Wonderful little inn! We enjoyed our stay in the Charter Room. Very comfortable with interesting, lovely decor. We ordered breakfast the next morning - delivered to our room! - and it was delicious. We will definitely stay again at some point in the future as we love to kayak the Withlachoochee River and dine at the Blackwater Grill. A great little get away for us in Yankee Town. Thank you!

These are very nice cottages in Inglis. This is really Old Florida and a nice play to stay. We stayed at Nature Coast 3 nights with friends who were in other cottages. Everyone liked the place and the owner Connie was very responsive to take care of any little issues. This is not high luxury but it is clean and comfortable and has an outdoor fire pit, gas BBQ, a pool, screened game/meeting room, and is a fun place to stay. We have family in the area and will be back.

We were referred to the Nature Coast Inn after our reservation fell through with a different property. The host was more than accommodating, she got us booked and checked in without any delay. We stayed in the paddlers cottage. It was very nice. The property is comfortable and relaxing. I loved the option of having Breakfast delivered to the cottage, made for an easy morning with the kids.I am so grateful that they saved our vacation and was pleasently surprised by the over all experience.

I have done construction work for the owners, and they are very nice folks. They are really making this place over into a must see location. The breakfast plates are very good.Walking the grounds, or just hanging by the pool or gazebo is nice and relaxing.I have not stayed in their rooms, but they look nice, so I can't really rate the rooms.

I had low expectations when I visited the Nature Coast, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful little cottage that awaited me. It had everything I needed for a weekend getaway. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the local library and admire the historical icons displayed in their small cases. Interacting with the friendly locals was another highlight, and I even treated myself to a delicious meal from a food truck near Alan's Bait and Tackle. One of the most memorable moments was watching the breathtaking sunset at the end of the “Follow That Dream Highway”, overlooking the Withlacoochee Bay. It truly was a wonderful experience, and I am grateful for such a fantastic time. Thank you!Nearby activities: Visiting the library, driving out to the Withlacoochee bay sunset, a moment on the trail that I hope to return to.Food & drinks: Very good Breakfast in the dining room, delivered to the cottage.Noteworthy details: The small cottage on offer was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean.

We have nothing but kind words for Nature Coast Cottage. We spent two weeks in Cookie's Cottage and it was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need in it and there was so much space. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and by the time we left, we felt like we were leaving family. Connie the owner is the most wonderful person whom we now consider family! ❤️ There is no doubt that we will be back to Nature Coast Cottages. They could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Two thumbs WAY up 👍👍 Five Stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We just spent a wonderful weekend at the Nature Coast Inn. The room has been recently remodeled and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the game room, pool and gazebo. Many spots on the grounds to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. The location was great. Easy to get to Dunnelon to enjoy the bike trail, Crystal River is close by as well. We were pleasantly surprised by Our Pub down the street. We hit their wing night and the food and staff was great. We will definitely be back!

What a charming place. I made last minute reservations for Thanksgiving weekend and they were able to accommodate me & my dog. It was relaxing, quite & just what I needed. Connie made me feel so welcomed when I met her in the office. I brought her a pumpkin pie for being so helpful when I made my reservation. I drove around exploring most days and found out that Crystal River isn't very dog friendly, so be aware of that if you bring a fur baby. Also the cottage had the Most comfortable bed!I will definitely be back!!!Walkability: You definitely need a car to get around, but once your at the cottages you really don't need to leave. You have a cozy cottage & pool!!

We had the most amazing time. The lady that took my call was super nice and recommended great places to go eat. They stay here is absolutely amazing and would recommend it to anyone. We felt so cozy and had the best experience. I am definitely coming back again and recommending to anyone. Don't forget to get the breakfast. I couldn't believe how low the price was for the great food and service.
