I called the pharmacy on a Thursday or Friday because they had a hard to find medication for my husband. The pharmacist (so nice) on duty promised to hold the medication for 10 days because we needed to wait for the prior authorization to come through. ( Med a already filled with a coupon card, because it's very expensive) I called on Saturday to see if it went through yet. It had not... Instead what I got was a rude reply from the pharmacist ( not the same guy) he said he had to put it back on the shelf and I replied no! I was promised you'll hold it, since there was a coupon filling in. Eventually, he agreed bc I was right. But he didn't like it. He was argumentative and very rude. He should not be working customer service. I have never been treated like this at a CVS. I've always had great experiences.

While this pharmacy may not receive the highest feedback, it has been my preferred choice for years, consistently meeting my needs. Despite occasional busyness and the demanding nature of their job, especially on New Year's Eve, the pharmacist and the entire staff have always impressed me. Extend them some grace and understand that they are doing their best to promptly fulfill prescriptions amidst a hectic environment.

Pharmacy manager was extremely rude! I went to pick up a prescription which they had no record of. I called my doctor to have it called in again, and the pharmacy manager, John Gagnon, yelled at me for asking him a question while he said he was on the phone, called me rude for interrupting him, then proceeded to tell me he wasn’t serving me. He then folded up the drop off counter and told me to get out! I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life! Another employee told me that there have been other complaints about him as well. I had to go to another drug store to get my prescription filled. Stay far away from the Indialantic, Florida CVS!

Today I placed an online order to be picked up at this store. I was having my co-worker pick it up using my order # & name. After receiving the confirmation it was ready, he went in with my info, and the manager (Tom) informed him that there was no order there with my name, and that they do not use order #'s. I called and spoke to Tom, who was very rude and told me my order was ready, but he didn't know what type of order my friend was there for. Also, told me he had no way to refund me.

The other reviews describing the issues with the pharmacy are totally accurate. One of my medications required prior auth for my insurance, so I got an automated text from CVS saying the pharmacist would be reaching out to my PCP to resolve. 10 days went by and I heard nothing (and I was almost out of my script), so I called my doctor. They had received nothing from CVS and hadn't been contacted.We both tried calling the pharmacy to get the issue resolved multiple times over the course of a few days, but neither of us could get anyone to pick up. This morning I called twice more and was disconnected both times, so I decided to drive to the store. I called the pharmacy when I was inside the CVS, listened to all of the pharmacy phones ring, and then watched a pharmacist pick up my call and immediately disconnect it. Needless to say, I absolutely lost it.The employees were caught off guard and claimed their phones weren't working (yeah right), and they tried gaslighting me for making a scene. But imagine if someone were trying to get script filled that was necessary to keep them alive and they ran into these problems. I do feel for these employees who are clearly very busy, but something has to change.

I think CVS Corporate should be concerned with the well being of their customers and staff, not their bottom line profits. Hire the staff you need to perform quality service and your staff and customers will benefit and greatly appreciate your business. Also when you phone you get caught up in the Covid loop and have to listen to the endless information without being given the option to bypass. Horrible phone system 😫

It was late at night and my daughter needed a charger. We were served by the most poliet and kindest and chipper young lady ever. It was uplifting interacting with her. She also helped us save the most on our transaction. Sadly I cannot remember the young lady's name but she knows who she is. I hope this post makes her smile like she made us smile that night.

I wish that this pharmacy's personnel was still nice, but that changed, especially on the phone. They simply don't care about the consumer/patient. I asked to transfer a prescription to NJ. NJ told me that FL must call them to transfer, and of course, FL said that NJ was responsible. I told the pharmacist this and he had the "Balls" to tell me that I should find someone in NJ that would transfer it. Seriously??? If there was a -1 rating I would give it. Well, I did, so ... well CVS in FL get the picture as to what I really want to say. Alas, this is a public forum, but that pharmacists deserves an elfin beating for their attitude and lack of customer service skills. BTW, NJ did it and without lip.

Don’t waste your time with the pharmacy. They don’t answer the phone. I’ve been on hold for 40 minutes now and nothing. There’s always a long line, whether it’s inside the store or the drive through. Rude service too. If you don’t like your job, go work somewhere else. Thx.

This is the only pharmacy I have ever had a problem with. If I could give negative stars I would. They never answer the phone. Ever. I was on hold twice over the last week and finally after 11 minutes I hung up and went there in person. No matter how important or needed your prescription is, they will not call you if there is a minor issue with it or your insurance carrier. I had a prescription sent out Thursday morning and hadn’t heard a word by Monday. They are days late filling prescriptions normally as well. But when I stopped in they said my insurance and CVS are no longer partnering. That they would gladly transfer it if Walgreens calls them for it. No problem, but where was this phone call so I could have done exactly that on Thursday? Walgreens called them requesting prescription at 1pm Monday and still by Tuesday evening they haven’t transferred my prescription. After telling me it would only take 1 minute to do so. I finally called my dr to have him send it to the other pharmacy just to avoid any further incompetence. It is so upsetting that A Dr with a busy schedule running a practice had more time to send me another prescription, than a pharmacy tech that had to merely send an electronic transfer.I have had other issues with them getting my sons medication in a timely manner. He has autism and his day to day life depends on his medications. They have no problem taking days to fill his prescription or not reach out to me if there is a hold for whatever reason. I have had automated calls and texts that a prescription is ready by a certain time only to show up there and it isn’t ready or even being worked on. Expect to have to go in person to discuss issues with them because again, they will not pick up the phone.

They are nice (although one of the team members made a questionable comment about my daughter having autism) but when you call, no one answers. They texted that they were out of my son's very critical medication and it's "on order" and I've been trying to reach them for hours about who to get it from or what to do. You'd think they would have found a solution before the automated voicemail/text and in the meantime he's very ill.

This CVS is truly terrible. I hope this reaches CVS HQ. I was unable to get my urgent medications and my friend was unable to get urgent medications for her baby. This is unacceptable customer service.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is usually not packed, like other CVS' can be. That is a plus. The drive through pharmacy drop off and pick up is very convenient.

They don’t care , my Doc sent over prescriptions and they claimed they only got one , took me a week to get my meds , this is a first time ever this has happened to me in all the years that I’ve used many pharmacies , either they run out of meds and tell you that the script isn’t here or I don’t know but they are one busy pharmacy that’s it though I’m moving my meds elsewhere

The pharmacist was very helpful and thoughtful about costs. Low inventory regarding my prescribed medication did not allow a full dose to be dispensed. Considering this he provided me with a CVS gift card to help the cost of a subsequent copayment.

CVS in general has gone downhill but when it is hard for someone to get a medication because THIS pharmacy says they fax my doctor when they never did. I don't need the runaround I need actions....follow through...act like you care about anything besides yourselves. Go the extra mile.

Staff member told me and my friend to leave while we were getting coupons from the coupon machine (while doing nothing wrong). I know we're just kids, but we're customers too!!

Open on Christmas for last minute stocking stuffers. The man at the counter was very "jolly" for the holiday and was willing to go out of his way to help everyone.

Pharmacy hours restrict after-hours pickup. Store open 24x7 but pharmacy is open shorter hours
