This place is a hidden gem. Quiet private and a place for no social media just one with the ocean and family and friends to enjoy each other company.

Super friendly and great customer service. They normally have everything you forgot to bring, might be a little more expensive but the convenience makes up for it. There is a watering hole attached with entertainment normally on the weekends.

we came into town with no place to stay or any plans. the gentleman running the shop at the marina was wonderful. He rented us a great efficiency and his well stocked tackleshop/grocery store supplied our 2 day stay. We launched our canoe and caught seatrout. Enjoyed the scenery very much. great marina. Quiet

Well, if you are looking for a creepy local spot to go, this is it. It's supposed to be a Marina and a Bar....but the bar is missing the actual Bar. Just a bunch of big smelly locals standing around drinking beer....they don't respond to hello, they just stare at you and chew. So if you feel like being creeped out and stared at, this is your place! Kinda deliverance-esce. Sure beats a nearly 50 mile round trip yo buy beer though. Shrimp boots, dirty overalls, chew, beer and a big loose pit bull to top it off. Don't like strangers fo sho.

Horseshoe Beach Marina was a wonderful experience. The store was well stock with all of my favorites, which includes smarties and root beer! The “furniture” in the store was polite and contained useful information. The ice cream looked cold and yummy, but I didn’t verify. The parking lot was spacious and well graveled. The captains in the are were all nice and tanned. If you haven’t been here yet, it is a must to go to! One more item checked off my bucket list! Also, Larry, the white headed pelican, was quite the performer when given fish scraps!I highly recommend a visit here!

Love this area and marina. Its a total treasure to this country. Everyone is so friendly. The marina has many things to offer. We used the boat lift dock to launch and load boat our boat. They also do vacation rentals. We stayed at the Oliver House which we loved and will rent again. It's simple, easy and comfy. Highly recommend

If you enjoy a tiny town in the middle of nowhere then this place is great! The water is great for kayaking but wear sunglasses and sunscreen. I understand scallops can be collected from this area though I have never had any luck finding them myself.

Horseshoe Marina had everything I was looking for. There's not many places to stop in between Cross City and horseshoe. The staff was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about the area. I recommend that you stop by and at least say hi. By the way, there is also a small pub that is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to midnight. The atmosphere was awesome.

Still closed down due to hurricane damaged but slowly rebuilding. I won't go there for the simple fact the owner is very nasty and very rude, and does not respect his customers at all. He only wants their money.

We walked around the area. Very laid back and quiet. All around views of the Gulf. Pretty, quaint, no real places to eat though. Bring a lunch I think. Found quite a few boat ramps also. Plenty of places to rent for a nice getaway. We enjoyed it

We booked a VRBO house right across the street from this sweet little marina and they made our stay much more enjoyable and comfortable. The canal in front of our house was a little sketchy so we were able to secure a covered boat slip. Staff were awesome! Laid back old Florida hospitality.

Spent the last 4 days in Horseshoe Beach with friends. We rented a boat slip and supported this small business all week with many purchases from frozen bait, ice, drinks, lottery tickets & ice cream each day. My last day I went to purchase two bottled Dr. Peppers and was declined as they lady pointed out there is a $10 min to use my debit card. I'm one who always trying to support small business everywhere I go but sometimes they shoot themselves in the foot with greed. I put the two drinks back and left without anything. Next year I will be sure to bring g much as possible from home.

Best in horseshoe beach but that's not saying much, there are only two places to get supplies in this isolated fishing village. The nearest town is 30 minutes away. They do have a good supply of bait and tackle the best feature is a sheltered boat lift but is not cheap. There is a park and boat ramp on the other side of town. Parking can be a problem especially if you have a boat trailer. If you a are going to fish, I recommend going during the week. The fishing is very good there if you know where to go.

The older fella loading and unloading boats was very unfriendly and very disrespectful the owner and the establishment was very nice really nice town and good fishing it was the first time I ever put my boat in with a lift and the employee was not helpful in any kind of way with smart remarks coming out his mouth the whole time make sure you get your Bait and tackle before you get there because the prices are gouging

What I liked about the marina Horseshoe Beach was they had to really nice ramp to put my boat in. When we were there there were so many scallops they were actually in the canals of the city. And their fireworks display during July 4th was quite impressive for a small City
