Third time I've been in in the past 2 weeks there is such a bad vibe in here I came here one night at about a quarter till closing and was rudely an abruptly told by the manager you better hurry up we're getting ready to close I think she could see that it irritated me to be talked to like a 12-year-old so then she was decent at the register I came day before yesterday and the man at the counter was abrupt and irritated and today I come and just get the weirdest vibes in this store it is so quiet and such a strange atmosphere I don't know what's going on here but I feel like I walked into the Twilight zone every time I walk in the store

We mostly use the Walgreens on Homes Beach because it's easy to get to and has lots of parking. The pharmacy has really good staff who are helpful and friendly. Make sure and sign up on their website by adding your name and telephone number you will receive lots of great offers and collect points to use for purchasing items.

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. I had a generic, antibiotic called in while vacationing. I waited in line for 20 minutes. Then, the tech could not find the code for Express Scripts. I offer to just pay whatever it is without insurance, so I can leave. Ten minutes later, she finally processes it and tells me it's $5. I hand her the cash, she says wait it's not filled. I said it was called in 2 hours ago. She said unless it is prepaid by insurance, they don't fill it. She doesn't know how long it will take since they were closed yesterday. I can leave and they will text me when it is ready. This is unacceptable! Then, I told the assistant manager that says she can't do anything. Best part...she hopes it is ready before they close in 2 hours. Update...I never received a text or call. I waited another 15 hours before I could get my medicine. The time stamp on it was right after I left the store at 5:42 PM.

We needed to have a prescription transferred from Michigan and refilled. We had experienced difficulty doing this each of the past 2 years, from another pharmacy on AMI. However, we are very satisfied with this Walgreen's pharmacy service! The process went very smoothly, professionally and promptly. The employee was very helpful and pleasant.Thank you!

I find earlier reviews hard to believe. Have had nothing but excellent service here. Today, Tiffany the Pharmd and Theresa the operations manager jumped through hoops to get us a COVID test for our upcoming trip. BTW this was after CVS said…. NO. Well done and double thumbs up to this team.

As far as Walgreens go, this location is probably the largest, well maintained and best stocked variety of any I have visited. However the beverage refrigerators were inoperable at the time, and has a separate liquor room that closes before the store does. Would visit again.

I vacationed here and the pharmacy was only able to fill half of my prescription as the remaining was on back order until the next day. I had to leave town to return home the next day and asked if they would transfer the remaining script to my pharmacy back home. They said to call my pharmacy, but after going back and forth my with pharmacy at home, I called back to the Walgreens in Holmes Beach and let the pharmacist know they said there was an issue so to not worry about transferring the remaining script and I thanked him for his help. He immediately offered to personally call my pharmacy at home to straighten it out. I just got a text from my pharmacy back home that my script is ready for pick up. Thank you to the pharmacist at Holmes beach! He made this process so incredibly easy and I am so very thankful for his excellent customer service!

Make sure you arrive way before closing! I arrived at 11:54 and the front doors were locked and they were beginning to turn off the lights. Normally corporate stores are pretty good about staying open until their posted closing times. Very frustrating 😩.. the got two stars though because most of their staff are very friendly.

We forgot to bring the umbrella for the beach, came to Walgreens, oh they have almost everything that you need for the beach, anything, and prices are reasonable, thanks again!

Pulled in the parking lot to let my elderly mother and small kids out to help them to the beach with their stuff when an employee whom was setting in his car started to scream and threaten me to leave the parking lot and said he was calling police. I stated to him that I was just helping them get to the beach and then I was going to find parking. He returned and said he doesn’t like “us” people coming to their beach. I am a resident of Florida.. he thought I was a tourist. There were no signs posted and he said that his job was to manage the parking lot. Worse experience I ever had and this was in front of small children.

Walgreens has introduced the most ridiculous policy known to man. I am 65 overweight bald headed individual buying a couple bottles of wine ($37/ea) for the holiday. Was asked by cashier for ID!!!! I asked her if I look 18 to her, but she didn’t answer me and be and became pretty rude The is just a veiled attempt to data mine people personal information. This is way beyond being political correct. Walgreen, not did I just return the wine to the shelf, but you have lost my business for good

This is, without a doubt, the rudest Walgreens I have ever experienced. From the Manager to the liquor store attendant - they make up the rules as they go along. When you ask them to show you the rules - they start screaming at you.

Went in to buy a pack of setzlers and they refused to sell to me and refuse to check my ID, They let me stand in line for 10 minutes with my hands full and then when I got to the counter the active manager laughed and said “why would I sell to you? Get out”. Beyond rude and disrespectful. They don’t require masks and they have no concept of customer service.

3/28/17If possible, I would rate this store with zero stars. After being diagonosed with bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection this morning, I went to the Holmes Beach Walgreens to pick up my three prescriptions. Nothing had been filled when I arrived and I was asked to wait. 35 minutes later, 2 of the 3 scripts had been filled. I needed to once again ask for the third one. Another 25 minutes later I searched out and spoke to an unpleasant manager (short, balding guy) who halfway listened without showing any concern or apologizing that both I and another lady had been waiting so long. He did go behind the pharmacy window and help some of the many waiting customers. One worker (I do not know her name because the employee who answered when I called later to ask for her name wouldn't tell me) was trying to do it all herself: help customers walking up to the counter, drive up customers, phone customers..... Making customers wait this long is completely unacceptable treatment, particularly obviously ill people who are spreading germs to others. I've waited a long time for prescriptions in the past at this store but this time takes the prize. Hopefully upper management will take a look at this dispicable treatment of customers and make changes to assure that it doesn't continue in the future.Update: 3/28/17Early this morning I called in a refill for one of the meds mentioned above. The recording said that it would be ready for pick-up at 10:45 am. When I arrived at 11:10 am it wasn't ready. No surprise. The wait wasn't as long today but clearly providing efficient service and honoring the time they say a prescription will be ready is not their thing. "Hurry up and wait" appears to be the Walgreens motto.

The workers were the worst I’ve ever dealt with not only did they not wear mask but they continued to disrespect members of my group on vacation day after day I understand it must be hard to find workers on the island but they have to do better then that and the manager was the most unhelpful rude person I’ve ever met
