Awwwww Chewy is the best. I have had the best experiences w Chewy. Great website and easy to navigate. I love everything about this company. I made a mistake when I was ordering something for a sick foster cat earlier this week and I tried to cancel the order but I could not so I called Customer Service. I had the nicest gentleman ever that helped me and made things so easy and he was so accommodating. I forgot to use a coupon and he just went ahead and took care of the coupon and put it back on my card and I was so happy. I explained why I was ordering what I was and that I had a sick foster cat that I had spent a lot of money on because the Rescue he came from has thousands of dollars of vet bills. So I was telling him how I’ve been taking care of this particular cats bills, who was an abuse/neglect case. This customer service representative that I spoke to was seriously the nicest gentleman ever!!!!! Not only did he take care of take care of my coupon I forgot to use but he sent some mice toys and a sweet card to my sweet sick boy. I was seriously so surprised and thought it was a very nice gesture. Good customer service is really hard to come by nowadays and Chewy goes above and beyond to make customers happy. Thank you Chewy for being such a fantastic help to us pet parents. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I am truly happy with my experience with chewy. The customer service they offer is amazing. Any issue was quickly resolved and to my best convince. Recently I adopted a new pet and I had contacted customer service as I was unsure of what product would best fit the needs of my new cat. They helped me pick the best one and I am happy with my purchase. I don’t normally leave reviews however. I did not expect chewy to send a welcome home gift for my new pet this was a great gesture. And it made me love the company that much more. If you are thinking about purchasing from them definitely do!!!!

This location on the map is simply a call center - it is NOT a retail storefront. Chewy is only available only. I spoke to the people at the front desk and they said this a common mistake because the location is listed on the map as retail.

A few days ago one of my little dogs died and it was a very sad event. I called Chewy a few days later to cancel my auto-sends for him. The lady I spoke to was incredibly kind, and yesterday I received a beautiful bouquet of roses with a vase and a note from “Melissa”. I have been grateful for the really super service with Chewy, but this is above and beyond! Thank you, Melissa and Chewy for this touching and kind gesture. AND Chewy refunded what I had paid for my last order. I am truly overwhelmed and will tell everyone.

I attempted to place an order for cat food with this company, but the experience was a complete disaster. I spoke with two representatives, and one of them (Stacy) was particularly awful. Despite providing all of the necessary documentation, Stacy was completely unhelpful and made the entire process needlessly complicated. Her incompetence was so frustrating that I ended up canceling my order altogether. I would never consider ordering from this company again - I'd rather go to Amazon or any other pet store where I can expect a more professional and competent experience.

No doubt in my mind that Chewy has best Customer Support and Service. I prefer calling to on line. Calls answered in seconds by a polite, professional person who spesks English. Fast shipping,, usually free.When my Mama dog died, they sent flowers that arrived in a couple of hours.Great products, fair prices.

I just want to share one or the nicest customer service experiences I have ever had. I am a newer customer to chewy and had to contact them last week about a product I ordered, in my conversation with the representative I had mentioned that I had to have my dog put to sleep a few days prior and the rep. Gave me her condolences, but a few days later I had a dozen yellow roses delivered to my door. It was a wonderful surprise to read the letter of sympathy from Chewy for the loss of my pet. Chewy is amazing ! That was above and beyond customer service. Please know that Chewy is always very prompt at getting your orders delivered and go that extra mile to provide customer service that shows they care for me and my pets! I will be a CHEWY customer for life. Thanks to all the kind and caring people at Chewy.

I have ordered many items from Chewy, never had an issue. Customer service is above and beyond helpful. This past week, we had to make the hard decision to put our dog down. Called Chewy as we just had received our order and no longer needed it. Keith gave me a full refund, no questions asked, comforted me and said no need to return the items. Such compassion I was blown away. The next day I had a delivery of flowers and a card from Keith with such sweet sentiments for our loss. It was so heartfelt and sincere. We were very touched by such thoughtfulness. Thank you Chewy and Keith for your outstanding care and compassion for our families.

Chewy Pet Brands offers the best customer service around! I love this company. They are prompt, and affordable. If there is ever an issue with an order, it is corrected immediately. The staff is friendly and efficient. One of the best things that I love about Chewy is that they still offer great personable telephone customer service. This is so refreshing, reassuring. Sure, they do offer chat and email support as well but, the point is that everyone is not comfortable with these modes of communication, and Chewy completely understands that. In short, Chewy is "Customer Oriented", and values their clientele. I highly recommend all their services, including "autoship" which will save you even more money. You will not regret doing business with them. Totally Awesome! :D <3

We have used chewy off and on for many years, not really thinking about the people behind the scenes. A few months ago we adopted a new pup and came to find he had some serious digestive problems. After many trips to the vet and a number of orders to chewy for all kinds of supplements, foods and other digestive aids, we placed an order for some hydrolyzed canned food for him which chewy had to reach out to the vet to approve.The day after I placed the order our little boy had a turn for the worse and we had to let him go play in the clouds. A chewy representative called me later that day to confirm the order and I let her know what happened. She was so sweet and empathetic and immediately offered to cancel the order. I was appreciative and shortly hung up the phone and went about my day.Two days later we received this amazing arrangement of flowers with this note. I can’t tell you how surprised I was. No one and I mean NO ONE takes this kind of care of their patrons anymore. Heck if you can talk to a live person when you call customer service you might want to play the lotto with the lucky streak you’re on.This was far above and beyond and I cannot thank the wonderful people at Chewy.com enough. I'm leaving this review specifically to thank the Chewy team that took the time to reach out after I mentioned we put our pup to sleep. Not only did they console me but also told me to reach out if I needed to speak to anyone about my loss. Additionally, they sent flowers to my home. This is amazing customer service. You guys treat your employees horribly and the amount of deception from every "happy" employee is a real problem. Instead of trying to make things better for your overworked teams, you add on unnecessary stress. HRs response is "Don't work here then" instead of listening to their employees and finding solutions. Not to mention the .3 seconds in between calls that give you no time to think. They should receive 0 stars, 1 star is too generous...

Literally the best customer service I have ever experienced. Had an issue where I didn't receive a package, and ended up running out of my ferrets food. Not only did they send a replacement, but also refunded me $10 to purchase a small bag of food locally to hold me over until I got the new package. I ended up actually receiving the original package as someone accidentally grabbed it thinking it was theirs and returned it to me the next day. When I called to ask if I needed to return the replacement package that Chewy sent me, they instead asked me to donate it to a local shelter. They also told me that I didn't need to return the $10, so I will donate that as well. The people I spoke to were extremely nice, prompt, and respectful. I wish it was like this with every company. It makes me feel like I am purchasing from a company that actually does good in this world. Thank you, Chewy!

Very disturbing when a company has employees such as a Supervisor named Michelle who is rude and so uncaring about animals. I do not understand why it is always an issue to have a prescription filled with Chewy. I sent over my furry babies Rx. on May 22, and as of today, May 26, they still don’t have approval from the Vet. What happened to the 1-2 days??? I found it odd seeing I have the prescription so there should be no issue with obtaining it from the Vet, or you would think. The Chewy website states it takes 1-2 days, well that information is invalid. They are misinforming customers. I went through the same issue last year and it took me over a month to get my baby his heartworm medication. This company has gone down hill. When the customer has to follow up with the Vet and follow up with Chewy just to make sure Chewy is doing their job, that is an issue. The rude Supervisor could have at least offered a discount seeing I have made more than several calls regarding this matter. CHEWY NEEDS TO STEP UP and make good on their services.

Our family dog passed away and so we had to cancel an order from Chewy since we won't be needing it anymore... Anyway, they were super kind about it and even SENT US FLOWERS! Such an amazing company to send us something to say we're sorry for your loss. Never would have expected that. My family has now recommend the company to all our friends with dogs! We truly appreciated the gesture.

Decided to give Chewy a shot for filling my pets medications, Vet approved it the day after submitted the order, yet Chewy claims they didn't receive it and would call my vet yet never did. Contacted Chewy every day for an update for 3 days and they claimed they never received the approval and would call the vet. Never had any issues with ordering from anyone else, save yourself the hassle and aggravation, just use a different company.

We have been customers of Chewy' autoship program for years. When we recently lost our dog, we had forgotten to cancel the order. I emailed asking if we could return the unopened box of food? Received a response next day, they would refund me the amount and to please donate the food! Awesome way to run a company! So appreciate your values Chewy.com! Thanks! Lisa

I get my dog's food auto-shipped and never had any issues. I had to return my last auto shipment because my dog needed to change her food for medical reasons. The customer service was quick and easy and gave me a refund with no questions. The best part of it all, and the reason I'm witting this review is, rather than returning the product, they suggested I donate it and I thought that was amazing.

Chewy has been the source of food and supplies for my dog for over 2 years now.Very disappointed with the latest performance of the company. Customer service does not answer, e mails are not answered. I have received one generic e-mail that states “your order has been canceled”. No explanation and no one to call! I tried e-mails and they were not received. What has happened? Is Chewy off the grid? How come such a large company has not have the courtesy to let the customers know they are no longer in service. I know we are going through difficult times but it is only fair that they at least send or post a sincere message on their web.What am I supposed to do with my dog who is elderly and needs prescription food? At least if given heads up I would have looked for alternatives! But to find out via a generic email that the auto ship is not coming is not very professional.Shame on you Chewy!!! Horrible way to treat your customers. Stay off the grid when this is over and see your customers disappear and cancel memberships. Shame on you!

I have to say I have never been more impressed with a company. I have been ordering from chewy for many years for my cat and I have never had to return a single item. Within the next 3 weeks we will be bringing a new puppy into our home and placed a very large order with chewy for all of the puppy essentials. Two toys we received were a-lot smaller than we thought they would be so I called chewy to see how I can go about returning them. The extremely friendly and helpful customer service representative said they were processing the refund and not to worry about returning the toys but to go donate them to a local shelter. I can not wait to take these toys to a shelter and give these toys to other dogs. Thank you chewy for your kindness and allowing me to pass that kindness on!

Let me preface this by saying that I am an animal lover (with 8 pets of my own) with a B.A.S. in Business, and 6 years of customer service and call center experience in management, supervision, resource allocation, and administrative assistance. My review is based on my experience as an employee and not a customer. That being stated I have not had any issues on the customer side besides a few dented cans with my orders. Working at the call center for Chewy, while educational for pet owners and lovers, was both droll and dreadful. I would be remiss if I did not mention that there are some great people that work there, however I definitely want and need to shine light on the intrinsic favoritism and inherent company culture that revolves around having to make a drastic schedule change in order to advance in the company. The promotions are usually lateral and the only promotions with an monetary increase are being a team lead and becoming a supervisor (which can take 1 to 3 years respectively, and they can take even longer if you do not take any of the schedule offers). Let me take a moment to mention that while having a drastic schedule change might not seem like a hassle or a big deal to some, it really is to those whose family and health are the contributing factors to the needing a specific schedule. All in all, I left after being there for about 6 months because I truly did not see a future with them. Personally, and besides the reasons I mentioned above, I left because of what I felt to be a lack of correctly identifying those who are under or over qualified (I even applied to Corporate to no avail, apparently it is because they want overqualified people on the phones). I cannot tell you how many times I had customers ask me what I am doing answering phones for so long (after being asked how long I worked at Chewy and noticing my work ethic, education, and professionalism)... this alongside the aforementioned issues and reasons really paved the way to my decision to leave. FOR THOSE WHO TOOK THE TIME TO READ THIS: here is the condensed version: From my experience the company does not care if you have a Bachelors, Masters, or 5+years of experience, there is a strange immature company culture with favoritism, a "closed mouths don't get fed" mentality, and the opportunity for truly advancing in the company are very slim and take quite some time. This seems to be okay for those who are very young but for those of us who have families and are looking for a career it is not... hence the apparent extremely high turnover rate.

I ordered a large bag of dry food and a case of wet food in cans. When my box arrived, I opened the top, saw the bag of dry food and immediately called Chewy and said my wet food was missing. They immediately shipped out a replacement at no charge. Several days later, I went to remove the bag of dry food from the shipping box and as soon as I lifted up the bag, there was the wet food! My mistake. I called customer service to make things right, but they told me not to worry about it, they had no way or system in place to run the charge. Keep it they said. I asked how could I repay them, the CSR response said to take a picture of my cute dog and send it to them. THANK YOU CHEWY!!!My mistake and thanks for being so nice. Thank you 🙂

If I have a problem with a product, they do all that is humanly possible to solve the problem.Jesica (night supervisor) was particularly wonderful in a lot of ways (product knowledge, customer service and care).When the company found out beloved furbaby died, they sent me flowers. I worked with chewy for about a month. It's one of the best places to work, the pay is really good the people there are very friendly, schedules are set, so its very easy to stabilize yourself. My issues lie solely with how they handled my situation; I was terminated because I didn't pick up a phone call after I clocked out, and for a company that preaches how "human" and "Forgiving" they are towards their employee's, this is very unacceptable. It's my responsibility for what happen, however, this cannot continue for future employee's. I was terminated with no initial warning or any sort of the "forgiveness" they preach about, please be careful making errors with this company, if you do so chose to work with them as there is no second chances.

I've been getting my cat food delivered by chewy for the past 6 months to a year. They are ok. Ive had two issues with shipments, one getting lost and another not being sent out all together.They have given me credits and fixed my issues on both occasions, but it still leaves a big inconvenience when you are expecting a scheduled delivery and it doesn't show up.I have also had a few issues with my specified food being out of stock, where they replace out of stock items it at their discretion. A refund (or communication) would be more reasonable.

I was drawn to Chewy for their prices, selection and free shipping. It wasn't until recently I became a huge fan. I purchased a $55 dollar dog step for my aging Weimaraner. He refused to use it.So I contacted Chewy for a refund.Not only did they refund the full price, but didn't make me deal with hassle of returning it. Instead of going into a landfill (a la Amazon) it's now going to a shelter or needy pet owner!
