I actually really like this location! They get business without ever being busy when I come. Cashiers are always pleasant and the store is pretty well stocked with whatever you might need at decent prices.

On yesterday at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon I go into family Dollar to purchase a box of cold medicine. The moment that I placed the box of medicine into my hand the store manager walks up to me and informs me that I need to leave. And then ask him why completely confused. He then informs me that another store manager had asked me to leave days ago. I'm trying to explain to him that I've never been asked to leave by anyone. I've never stolen anything and I don't interact with anyone in the store I just buy the items that I need and I leave. He then tells me that he's going to call the police on me because I won't leave because I'm completely confused as to why I'm being accused of stealing when I've never stole anything or never been asked to leave the store, as anyone would who is completely ignorant to the fact of what he's even talking about. He then calls the police on me has me trespassed with no evidence of me stealing anything. What makes matters even worse I've worked for the company for 5 years as an assistant manager and have counted countless dollars for them and have never had issues with money with the company. I'm completely embarrassed and angered by the way that I was treated yesterday. The store manager Jim is a horrible human being and you all should really consider spending your dollar somewhere else.

5 years ago this was the worst store management I had ever experienced. But the past few years everyone has been so nice and always helpful. I once again enjoy visiting daily. Anyone I ask for help is always so helpful and friendly. Love this store.

UPDATE:Corporate you should fix the windows, you have had wood over them for more than a year and a half. Looks abandoned at times. The employees there are always working hard and are nice and helpful whenever I go. The least you can do is give them more than plywood to stare at all day. It makes the store look trashy.PREVIOUS REVIEW:This is a cool lil store, usually always stocked up and much more convenient than fighting through the crowd in a much bigger store or grocery store. Have a little bit of everything you need. Friendly employees, never had an issue at this location. Shout out to you guys for keeping it 100.

The store is clean. The price tags were scattered and in wrong spots so that caused confusion. I take my 73 year old neighbor shopping so she is on a budget and was telling the cashier the paper towels said $6.50, but the system said $8.50. He was pretty short with her and said, nope.. they're $8.50. There is a better way of speaking to people.

all of the employees are always friendly. great personality. I love going there because of the employees. they are fun to talk to. every customer that enters that store gets a greeting. I always leave with a 😊on my face! So thank you.

I made two trips here yesterday for engine oil. The first trip was seamless. I was in and out in three minutes. The second trip though, one of the workers were extremely disrespectful (I believe her name was Cici, she had short, blonde hair). She was cashing out at one of the registers, bagged and everything, so I assumed "oh this worker is checking out here, I'm going to go to this cashier too." However, while I was waiting in line for them to stop talking so I could buy my oil, she made a snide comment right in front of me to the other cashier: "I don't know why this girl is standing here, the light isn't even on." I clearly heard her, and responded "oh, sorry. I didn't realize," and walked to the other cashier. She then proceeded to shout "yeah, and you're always supposed to line up over there anyways," extremely condescending. She ruined a majority of my morning. On top of the fact that my car was virtually out of oil, I had to deal with a very rude worker. If the manager is reading this, please please please don't hire someone who doesn't know how to treat people with respect, and teach this woman some customer service skills. Aside from that, I would like to praise the cashier, Rob. Both times I came in yesterday he was extremely friendly and kind, and he effectively calmed me down after this altercation.

Great place for items I forgot to pick up but limited food selection. Store is super clean and orderly but a few of the staff could use customer service training since there is so much competition out there. Manager is very nice and professional.

I shop here all the time almost daily. This store is always tip top and faced. The outs almost are non existent and the product there for the customer. C.C. is a great manager with a love for her store and runs a tight ship, at anytime great service.

The manager there is rude and no it's not because she wouldn't give me an exchange or refund it's because of the way she talks to people! I think they need to find a new nice manager at least pretend to be nice and talk to people with respect! Horrible customer service on her part!!

I went there today and was turned away because I was wearing a backpack. I was told if wanted to shop, I had to leave it outside due their high theft lately. Through multiple years of working retail, I have learned that most theft is caused internally. I feel discriminated and offended to be profiled as soon as I walk through the door. I shop at Wal-Mart, go to the movies, etc. and never felt this kind of treatment. I will refrain from buying their over priced goods due to these circumstances. It really is no wonder why I see fewer of these stores recently.

I live 3 blocks away from there, and i use to go there all the time. I work at k&j liquor across the street i sweep our parking lot every day, and when my customers come in and see me cleaning our parking lot they say have you seen how discussing the family dollar store parking lot is and it stinks like vomit! I even and a couple other customers have complained to the employees about it and they say well our maintenance guys quit. Cause corporate office don't want to pay the money, well it seems to me it would be mandatory for the employees to take time out to do it. I even told the manager i would come clean it 3days a week mon wed fri for $30 amd still they said corporate want pay for it. Also needless to say y'all are going to lose alot of business.

Worst customer service experience of my life!! I entered at 8:55 pm just before they were gonna close and I was greeting with "you have 3 minutes before we close." Ive been in this situation and understand how fustrating it can be when there is alot to do and a customer walks in last minute. As I walk down the aisle I run into another associate which also greeted me with "you have to hurry up we're closing." 1 minute later Leeanne is yelling at me like a drill sergeant, "c'mon! Let's go I'm locking the doors in 2 minutes!" When I confronted her about how ridiculous she was being and asked for her name she said "I'm sorry it's my boss, she means business and I already got in trouble once before." I left with my blood boiling but also felt sad for Leeanne because if she was telling the truth about the fear she had for her boss no-one should have to work for a company that makes them fear for their job. Management should be addressed.

I just love this particular Family Dollar.. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Shelves always stocked and organized..clean, products easily located... I just can't say enough positive about this place.. Management second to none...

Went there thís morning, did not have change for hundred had only 6 ones kid took out balance from his pocket and paid. What a kind nice employee came back and gave him 10 $ tip. I'm a 62 white man he is a young man of color, in this crazy world of roots color does not matter God bless him. There is mircles everyday just have to look

There was an ambulance outside treating someone for something, but the lady manager w short hair just happened to say yeah that’s what we do to little kids when they steal, but noticed she didn’t say it to any other kids. Dike bihh we don’t have to steal

Went into the store to use the restroom and was told only if I were a customer. Well im not shopping now was my response but I shop here weekly. I was then advised I could not use the bathroom unless I was a customer? What? Ill never return to this location. The guy working was rude and arrogant .
