I love these folks and wish her place was a little closer to my daily route. When I go, it is worth it. They have big heavy bales of peanut hay at a good price, get me loaded quickly and get me back on the road headed home to my hungry ponies. When everyone else runs out, they still have peanut hay!

Prices are comparable if not better than tractor supply though they don't have his large supply of feed for livestock including pest control for livestock.

Visited to pick up some hay nales. Unfortunately, our vehicle was not big enough to accommodate. Jamey and her staff assisted by transported the bales to a nearby location. That was unexpected and greatly appreciated.

Actually only been here 1 time..pretty pathetic that the woman that is actually the owner of the establishment needs some courses in customer service..she's openly rude. The second time I went in here there was a young man behind counter and he was so very nice plus helpful..she needs to take a few tips from him on how on treat your customers...HE is only reason I would EVER return here to shop.

I couldn't believe that The Feed Store only had two reviews.I have been a customer with the family business on that site for 27 years. From it being Whiddon's a country store when the last generation ran the store. And to the next generation running the business today.The main brand there is a Nutrena, but they carry other brands too, a lot food for Cats, Dogs, Horses, wild animal food, deer, birds, pond fish food, etc., and all kinds of other farm animals.They carry shots for your dog. And other animal supplies, mineral blocks, wormer, bug spray, medical supplies, etc.And a Real Big factor is the continous quality of their barn stored rolls and bales of hay. They have field stored hay too, but the extra $10 for the barn stored is worth every penny. And in the winter time they don't let their customers run out of hay. Even when we had a hay shortage a few years back and they could have sold semi's full of hay at a higher price. Yeah I am loyal to them.They are a one stop shop for animals.They stay open until 6 PM Monday through Friday they are open until 2 PM on Saturday. And please forgive me for the running in just as you are closing way too many times.The prices are as good as Tractor Supply, so I buy local.Geez I really do sound like an advertisement, but I am just a long time customer.But Thank You to the family and employees that works so hard there for all the years you have helped us care for our animals.LaurieRescue Me Farm
