The manager guy here is very rude to his costumers, he refuse to give back refunds an when asked to be shown were in the hand book that he couldn't give a refund for the item he then charged his mind an side his manager said they would do it this time but never again! Myself an my husband comes here almost daily! Now he's has the door locked with one of his employees locked outside an the store doesn't close for an hours or so ! By witch he watch about 10 costumers has come to the door as he counted down registers before making a body jester stating that the store is closed! This is the only store that is open in this city after 10pm an we spend a lot of money here although we pass many GD on our way home! The owner needs to do something about this! Before losing valuable an loyal customers!

This store is not well maintained, overcrowded with fixtures that make navigating the store difficult, carts are rarely inside the store, otc medications and supplement shelves are always empty, many boxes waiting to be restocked and rarely any management onsite. The staff are super helpful but the location is severely understaffed. One to two checkout staff cannot keep guests checked out timely and be expected to clean floors, unpack and stock merchandise, and collect czrts. If managmemt is getting a percentage incentive by keeping employment costs down then this is doing a disservice to staff, customers as well as store profits. Today a delivery driver attempted to deliver a Hershey display case.. Upon entering the store the store employee stated there was no room for the display shelves and she would need to call corporate but it was after 3pm and the driver and other customers just looked on in disbelief and amusement. The turn over in this store is high too which also indicates little to no management or corporate support. Many items shelf prices are out dated and not accurate and overrides at the register are needed. Great opportunity for improvements that would net measurable gains with right support from corporate. Staff here are mostly friendly, helpful but meed support. Understaffed location.12/04/2023 Update: Removing one star as the majority of issues still persist at this location. Unopened boxes cluttering the isles making navigation difficult, only 1 self check out of 2 are ever working, the other self checkout is a storage place for unopened items, or items that have been left at self checkout and accumulate, store is very understaffed which makes it almost impossible for staff to do all of the tasks assigned to them. The staff are helpful and friendly. The DM or Group manager for this store really should come by more frequently. The way things are now this store has to be losing inventory due to theft as the store inventory never matches the app inventory.

Last week the blonde cashier tried to accuse me of stealing despite having all items on my receipt. Very poor customer service, I now only patronize the location on Shady Rest.

I am a regular shopper at this store and 2 weeks ago they got a truck in and I have gone by there many times to pick up a few items. They still have all the stuff sitting around the store and none of the shelves stocked. It is very cluttered in there. How do you not stock shelves in 2 weeks?? Where is management for this store or are they aware of this?! Disappointing. Also losing money this way.

It's a dollar general, what can you say. An amazing selection considering the size of the store. Food section is pretty clean and organized. Not so much the rest of the store. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Prices for the most part are good. They serve a purpose.

Nice to have someplace open until 11 in Havana! All the staff is great here. They're friendly and helpful. We are here probably 4 to 5 times a week. Definitely recommend for all sorts of things. Chances are they have something close to what you're looking for. Kind of a one stop shop. 👌👍😊

It's great for buying household cleaners and great for buying antacids and cold meds. Also great for bathroom items and necessities. It's great for buying chips and dips. The only thing to watch for is when something is on sale, the register will not ring up the discount. So, watch out for that, because you think you're getting it on sale and you're not. I don't know if all are like that. My experience is with the store located in Havana, Fl

Staff is always friendly! They are open until 11 which is nice since basically NOTHING is open at that time in Havana. Good for a quick grocery run or a need for ice cream at 10:30 pm...

Need to fire the manager because of laziness. This store would be great but don't have a good manager to get this store right. You can't find anything because the aisles are filled with boxes. You can't shop like that period !

The air conditioning had been not working for a very long time. The bathrooms were out of order for several weeks. No wonder the shelves are not stocked, the employees are too hot!

Employees are friendly, store is usually jammed packed down every aisle with boxes...of course there are usually employees unloading them as quickly as possible. ..just don't expect to go down aisles real fast.

Definitely a real Publix, just a bit smaller than most and was short with some if the usual. But still a Great friendly place for higher prices but more assortment. And still the only place to get a mostly REAL CIBAN sandwich north of Tampa.

Prices are okay, you get smaller sizes for the cost on fair amount of items. Stores cluttered due to lack of employees putting product away in a timely manner.

Always cluttered, never enough staff at peak hours... it's a dollar store to the core. Nothing makes rhyme or reason for placement but that's every dollar general. Expect 6 people ahead of you at checkout at all hours.

I think they're changing the store up a bit for the upcoming season. The store was overwhelmingly overcrowded, congested. Otherwise, long lines, one cashier at register. For what I was shopping for, issues were overlooked.

Store is never open when they say they are going to be. Got there tonight at 8:30 and they were long gone. Posted time said 9:00pm. We were one of 4 people that stopped while we were there.
