We looked around the store for the better part of an hour. The owner was talking with another gentleman the entire time and never greeted or acknowledged either one of us, even though we made our way back around to the vicinity of the check-out area several times and sort of lingered in a not too far, not too close manner. We kept waiting for him to pause his conversation and offer assistance but it never happened and didn't look it would ever. Neither one of us are the type to interrupt someone's conversation. Eventually we took all the items that we had gathered up to purchase back to their respective areas and left.This particular store does not charge a commission to the vendors. They only charge rent, therefore they have no interest in assisting or encouraging customers and helping to make sales because they collect rent and don't make a penny whether the vendor sells an item or not.
