This is the third time we have gotten meat that was no good. Bought and put directly in the freezer took it out thawed it and it's bad even though the date says 9/28.

I visit this market every month for my meats and produce. The prices are reasonable and the butchers will even chop up your meats the way you prefer. They have all my Caribbean foods I love so much. Friendly staff and a clean establishment. I love this market.

I've been shopping here for about ten yrs and love the meat market part the best, but since they've expanded some the produce has really upgraded... The only thing I miss is the ability to get certain cuts of meat from the counter... They usually direct you to the new prewrapped section. If there's not what your looking for there then they will cut it for you... Great job everybody!!! 🌺🌺🌺

The meat prices are great just have to get passed the meat smell 😆. The supermarket is compact but you find things you won't find in many other markets. NOW THE CUSTOMER SERVICE is completely ridiculous. The pack of meat we found in meat department was at a phenomenal price and the cashier thought it was an error which is understandable but when brought to the older obnoxious rude unprofessional lady at the front counter she said that she would not honor the price nor cares about customer service. So while the market is not a bad place the unprofessional lady makes you want to not shop there anymore. I even explained to cashier that she stated the cashier are being tested so she can know who is her weakest worker by not fighting with customers. Her words is we here to make money not about customer support.

The smell of this place.... Yes they have great prices, they need to do a better job with the smell inside the store and forget the parking lot!!!! There's something called u turn and cherry charm.... research.... cause that smell is unbearable.....

New to Haines city first time here was driving by,though I should stop and take a look if you like malanga and other verdura it’s great.a bit crowed but meat selection clean and cheaper! I bought enough for a week definitely coming back to this Plácita market !
