I cannot say enough about the staff and Dr. here. They took my cat as an emergency next day visit for a nail injury and treated him quickly and kindly. My cat wasn’t overly stressed and is now so much better. They did not push items that I couldn’t afford right now and were so understanding. If you want affordable, quality pet care this is your place. Thank you to everyone there who helped Kitty feel better. We will be back and recommend you to our family. ❤️

I will never refer this vet to anyone EVER! They need to be shut down! A week after taking my dog here.. he passed away because this uneducated doctor & staff prescribed medication that IS NOT supposed to be prescribed together! When called the office with the emergency of my dog having a seizure or some type of reaction, they didn’t even know the medication he was on and didn’t have any professional answers to anything I was asking! I educated them on everything I looked up myself! They didn’t even tell me to take him to the hospital, just wanted me to bring him in a WHOLE week later to check him. He passed away the next morning. Please keep your animals far away from here if you want them to be safe. In the meantime I will be looking for a lawyer. Hold your furbabies close because I would never wish this heartache on anyone. He was the happiest boy before he went for that appointment. Also they are extremely rough with the animals, I would never want them alone with my animal! They do not care about the animals just your money.

We brought our cat in tohave have her one ear checked because she kept scratching it. They then wanted the dentist to check her teeth. He said she had a couple of bad teeth to be removed and gave us a new estimate. They checked and said no ear mites and gave us ointment and ear flush liquid. Then they tried 3 times to get her blood for surgery and couldn't find a vein. She was terrified. Gave up and said they would get blood next day when sedated. While she was there they called and said 5 more teeth needed pulled. So for a checkup on one ear, cost became $1500! Since then, our loving healthy cat has become one who hides all day, slinks away from us, only comes out to eat when we leave or overnight, and only soft food as she cannot chew kibble anymore. She has lost weight, never plays or associates with us, like she hates us now. She doesn't prune herself, it's like she doesn't want to live anymore. And she still scratches at the same ear that we took her in for. Our beautiful loving cat has been ruined. We won't ever use this vet again.

Our experience with this vet had been the best. The staff is very caring and dedicated. May seems like there is a lot going on at the office, but it is very understandable due to the high volume of patients they see.They took care of our baby very well and were very transparent and thorough with the care plan.I highly recommend this vet to anyone in need of prompt and competent service for their pet baby.

I have been taking my animals here for about 5 years now and have never had any problems with treatment. They can be a little slow on service, but it's very understandable with them being short staffed. I recommend this place to family and friends alike.

Since I was waiting for a call from a manager, I will write this since they didn't call me, on Wednesday 03/20/24 I had an incident with “veterinarian” G Martinez Sanchez. We were, Me, caring for my dog's face too close, the nurse holding him and the vet behind him injecting him with the vaccines, the first and the second well, and then she continued in that position (behind him), according to the nurse, the vet went to check his heart and my dog ​​barked at her. (After the two vaccines💭) He didn't follow her to bite her, my dog ​​stayed with me and I was so in shock, I was pale and unable to speak because it was the first time he did this, while the vet started YELLING at the nurse to put my dog ​​on the LIST. that he had to have a muzzle, and in the same tone she tells me that if my dog ​​had bitten her “WE WOULD HAVE HAD A VERY BIG PROBLEM” she leaves the room and YELLS THE SAME THING OUT LOUD. It seemed very unprofessional to me. All this while my 7-year-old son was there, the nurse continued entering the room and my dog ​​remained calm. Before what happened, the same day my dog ​​went to the Gromming and everything was fine, before the vaccines the nurse took him and they even checked his ears with qtips and he didn't react, at Petsmart they cut him and he didn't 't react. Said by this vet, my dog ​​is a big baby because he was so calm before evrything. This veterinarian made me feel the worst, I don't applaud my dog's reaction BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW WHEN THEY REACT LIKE THIS, BECAUSE THEY ALSO FEEL, but what animal owner knows when the dog is going to react to something he is not used to, someone explain that to me or to her pls. Because if the vet is professional, she shout all that in threats, even though I clarify that my dog , it is the first time he do this, BECAUSE LAST YEAR THEY PUT THE VACCINES IN THIS CLINIC AND HE DIDN’T REACT. Honestly, it made me feel the worst. I regret not saying anything at the time and defending ourselves but it was the best thing for my son. I called to give advice to avoid these things since the same day another dog reacted in the same way inside the office and no one was heard saying anything. If the vet has “panic” as they told me. Why does she do it? , WHY you guys don’t put muzzles on all dogs to avoid these things, and also, THE VET has to have more profession and knows how to do things to an animal that also feels the pain of one vaccine or more vaccines. I learned from this, but I comment this so that SHE do not yell TWICE in your face about the problem we would have had if the dog attacked her, G Martinez Sanchez. A profecional don’t make feel a person like this.

This was our first time using them. We have a new puppy. They were about 50 minutes behind. When you call to check in, it would help if they would give you a heads up. The Assistant that came to get Zeke, knew the owner of the Mother. He was great, friendly, explained everything very well. Everything wen well and brought him back happy and loving on him. Good service and very helpful. I will continue with them.Second set of puppy shots. All went good. Teeth cleaned. Gained 10#. We will be back in three weeks.Well today yet again they were 45 minutes behind. The girl came out to say he really isn’t due for his next shots for two more weeks. Last month they gave me just flee pull not the all in one. They tried and sold the wrong thing yet again for his next one. They did his shots two weeks early. I’m not sure if I trust you to fix him or chip him at six months. The young lady today was very helpful and Mark spoke with the vet. I had called before I ever started using you. This I will need to think long and hard before I now come back. No teeth cleaning or nails trimmed like I was told would be done each time. I was told they were very short staffed also. I’ll pray and hope he’s going to be okay with the shots done early.We took Zeke back on July 1st to be chipped, fixed and to get his all in one monthly flee…pill. He was to be left at 7:00 am and picked up around 5:00pm. They were late opening, we had left full instructions over the phone when set up and again when left. They for got to chip him and had to do it when we were trying to pick him up, the wrong flee medication was brought out yet again after paying, this has been every month, no instructions on when to start his pain medication, no call to me to let me know he was okay, no one would ever answer the phone all day. I did the puppy pack with them but I’m not sure if I really want him to return. He is okay thankfully. Better care and service is lacking.

The staff and doctors are absolutely caring. Lily our 12 year old cat was suffering from dental disease and she was in so much pain. We took her the st Charles vet hospital (Davenport) and they told us, she was fine and gave us pain meds and sent Lily off. We took Lily last week to Haines City Pet Hospital and it was heaven sent. We didnt know we would find Carlos,a dental surgeon, who took one look and said Lily needed all her teeth removed. Lily had stopped eating and wouldnt stop crying. They performed surgery same day. Carlos reconstructed her whole jaw, showed us the before and after and Lily was back to eating after surgery. He was kind and compassionate and you could just tell he loves what he does. I cant complain about the prices. I paid half of what I paid for a full dental surgery at St.Charles for just meds and bloodwork. I just want to say thank you for your dedication and love for our pets. You made a huge impact. Lily is back to living her best life.

Never in my LIFE have I been so humiliated and so disrespected and disregarded!! I ASKED for help with my BABY Cookie who I have taken to your vet for a few years now. I came because I realized that THIS is not normal for me nor for cookie. I waited for 3 HOURS to be turned AWAY like a DOG. This vaginal prolapse was a serious issue for my dog and I. I didn't have $780.00 for the BILL? However, I had $300 and ASKED to be billed for the rest....I was told NO and was REFUSED SERVICE. I was sent away to take my dog home and be her VET ...to put sugared water and to PUSH her prolapse back in!!! How DISGUSTING!!! I CRIED due to humiliation and EMBARRASSMENT. NEVER in my life!!! You people DON'T care about your customers or their pets. I kept being told "let me call the doctor to say what she says"I understand it's a business but there was NO discretion, NO leniency, NO care, NO empathy, NO VALUE PLACED ON MY COOKIE NOR MYSELF

We have been to this location twice. The price is great, but be aware you will be waiting a long time for the vet to see your pet. They are always busy. A 20 minute appointment took 2 hours of waiting, with an appointment. The vets are nice, and seem to be knowledgeable. But I wish they wouldn't schedule so many appointments without having the space or time to take care of them.Edited 10/21: We brought my Black Lab/Dalmation mix here over a month ago for them to test a lump hanging off his side. They sent the labs out and never called me with the results (whether it was cancerous). So today, I bring him back in for a monthly allergy shot, and asked for his results. They informed me that they had the wrong number on file. Understandable. I asked if I could get the results while we were there. They printed off the results and the vet tech handed them to me. I asked what the results meant and if he was okay, or if he would need surgery. She told me she couldn't answer those questions, and there was no way to tell me whether or not he was alright.We also brought my smaller Beagle in for a nail trim today. They refused to trim her nails without muzzling her. Even though the last time we brought her in she didn't need a muzzle, and has never snapped on anyone or anything. She's also up to date on every shot (she received them there).Not happy with this visit, and we definitely won't be back.

My Maltese, was suffering from Dental Issues, I could not find one Dental Vet, that would take him in. due to not taking NEW Patients.After researching online; I called "Haines City Animal Hospital"; and they called me back immediately!! said to bring in my Pooch, as soon as possible!!When I arrived they took him in right away. After his X-rays, Everything was explained to me; and he was ready to be treated!When completed Carlos, showed me all the Photos, of before and after. All the bad teeth were gone!! Dental Treatment was Successful!! Snooper was ok to go home.I want to Thank the entire staff at HCAH, they were all friendly and Kind...and a Special Thank You, to Dr. Carlos, for All his Medical Dental Procedures and Help.

Even though waiting takes forever even with appointments it was worth it. Prices are not to high my dog was coughing and felt like something was stuck I was thankful for getting a call telling me what is next step and Antonia who works there was super friendly and gave my baby back explained what to do and what to expect if I needed more help to call them. I will definitely be going back to them for any vet visits

This msg is not about the service to the pets, is for the students who want to volunteer in this Clinic and then need a letter of reference or referral for the schools. I will let you know that in this place they will NOT give you this letter. It doesn't matter if you spent a long time volunteering and in addition they take care of your pet to be treated, without any privileges like a normal client. Even after finishing volunteering and you take your pet to be attended, everyone can remember you and asked about your academic progress in a very "Comfortable" way but at the time of requesting a letter, they no longer feel "Comfortable". It was disappointing and it affected my daughter a lot. This is why I would not like it to happen to another young. I have heard it has happened to others also in other clinics and that is why I give my alert in this matter. To our young people who are passionate about this field ask about the availability of receiving letters and/or recommendations if requested, because apparently many of these doctors, after a while, forget and say they are not "Comfortable" not to help them and it is something very unfortunate. It is not a way to support and encourage the young people to achieve your goals in this beautiful medicine field. Looks like they forgot helps the people.

I took my 5 year old basset here after I took him somewhere else and they told me he was fine and gave me some antibiotics and probiotics for him. I knew something was wrong with him. This vets office got to the bottom of it, and I finally had answers after weeks. Unfortunately my baby had lymphoma, and he passed within 2 days of us receiving a diagnosis. Despite that, the staff at Haines city pet hospital were so kind, they called me every day to check on how boomer was doing at home. Even though in the end it was devastating to lose our baby, I’m so grateful for Haines city pet hospital and how they believed me when I told them he was sick. Other vets office didn’t, they didn’t even run test!! And I could tell I was just a number. But not here. This place is amazing and affordable. Thank you, don’t ever change your kindness!

Very caring place. Unfortunatelyfor me, my elderly cat was not doing well. He was in a lot of pain due to old age, he was 17 years old and his kidney stopped working. I used this Vet with my dog (2010) and they were okay. Fast forward to June 25, 2021, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! My appointment was at 10:30am and I’m still sitting here waiting at 12:30pm. This will SURELY be the last time I use this Vet. The staff is friendly, they just don't respect the patients time.
