If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have taken my 2 dogs here for nail trims a few times, but each time was an unpleasant experience. I have a Yorkie that does not like to get her nails done. Christy wanted me to hold her in my arms while she was doing the nail trim, but Penny was very nervous and wiggling around quite a bit. For Penny's safety, I asked if we could put her on the table, and Christy had an instant bad attitude about it. She acted as if this was an abnormal request. The next time I took Penny in for a nail trim, I immediately asked if we could do the trim with Penny on the table, and she was a little more polite about it, but still seemed very annoyed.She also accused me of being late for an appointment, but I was not late, which she realized when she looked at her appointment book. I still left a tip, and she rolled her eyes and said, "what's this for." (She said I was late another time as well, which I wasn't.)My parents have taken their cats to her and have not had an issue. I thought maybe it was just me, and decided to make an appointment for Penny to have a bath and cut. I called early the day before to confirm the appointment time (left 2 messages), she called back the next morning (day of the appointment). I told her that Penny had a small rash on her belly and she said that she would prefer to reschedule. I then asked her if there was a reason for the negative attitude during the prior visits, and explained that Penny at least needed the haircut (we waited over a week for this appt., and Penny was already overdue for a cut). She then told me she would not like to accept me as a client and hung up on me.That turned out to be the best thing she could have ever done. The next day, SHNOZ PAWS LLC, was able to give Penny a haircut and bath. They even looked at her belly and said everything was fine. Penny's haircut was perfect!They also trimmed my Rottweiler, Sophie's nails. Sophie's nail trim was a night and day difference from when Christy had trimmed her nails. Christy was not very soothing with Sophie, and Sophie was very tense during her nail trims at A1. The ladies at SHNOZ PAWS were VERY LOVING and even used the drummel to make sure her nails were not left too sharp, which Christy never did or even offered. Sophie was very relaxed during her nail trim because the ladies took the time and effort to make sure she was comfortable. I felt like Christy rushed through the nail trims with no concern of either dogs safety or comfort. My mom also agreed that Sophie's nails looked much better than when I had them cut at A1.I 1000% recommend Shnoz Paws if you care about your dog's safety.

I have been taking my pup here for a while and always love the work they do! never had a complain and love how my dog looks at the end of his appointment! do recommend booking ahead as they book pretty quickly. 10/10 recommend 😊

3rd time going here and will not go back. They don’t accept walk ins ( which I thought they did) and she will tell you it’s ok to wait then when you say I can come back - she responds with I’m busy all day adding next time call first. I just wanted my dogs nails cut. I actually found a more professional and welcoming dog grooming in Lake Alfred. I would advise not taking your fir babies here.

I have been taking my dog, Lucky to this place for over a year and it’s the absolute best! Lucky is a very nervous dog when left with a new person but she is so welcoming that he does very well. She cuts his hair just how I request, and her pricing is very reasonable. You do need to schedule your appointment with time because openings do fill up fast. They do sell a little of doggie cloths for girls.

This was THE WORST GROOMING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF ALLOWED UNFORTUNATELY NOT. We bought both of our dogs to A1 for over a year now we just brought them in a couple of weeks ago and asked Christy to shave both of them because of the hot weather right now we also asked her to cut their nails relatively short and make sure that they were ground down because we have a toddler that frequents our home we drop the dogs of and then only an hour and 15 minutes later we were called and told they we're ready. My wife went to pick up the dogs and washurried out the door she even commented to Christy that Marley one of the dogs jumped on her leg and his nails were still very sharp and not ground Kristy was very argumentative and said she grounded the nails down. We called her and left a message and she never returned the call after several days we called several more times we finally reached her and she recommended that my wife bring the dogs back on the 18th which would have been several days after we spok we said fine she called us back 10 minutes later and said that wasn't going to work for her and bring him in right now we were at work and told her we could not we offered to bring him in the next few days and she said we had to have them there that same day or the next day we said that was not possiblee because when she gave us the appointment for the 18th we had already made other plans for other things between that day and the 18th and we're booked solid we called her back after she hung up on us and told her that the 18th is going to have to be the appointment because that is the appointment she scheduled and requested not us she said forget about it she doesn't want is as customers she doesn't need our business.worst These were the worst haircuts I've ever seen on dogs and when we wanted to bring them back to her and get them fixed she was rude and nasty gave us an appointment then called us and canceled it hung up on us and told us she doesn't want our business. Buyer beware.

She said she couldn’t give me an estimate of the price for a bath and grooming of my Shetland sheepdog without seeing her first. When I showed up she still said she didn’t know how long it would take her. So I mistakenly left my dog in her care. When I came to pick her up she said it was $435. After bitter words I paid and left as I had no choice. I would never go back. (After owner’s response I wrote the below).Yes, this was you, the owner, I had the altercation with. And a Shetland sheepdog (sheltie) is not a large breed. It is considered small to medium. This was some time ago but I just got the urge to write the review. All of the above is true. You said it took 4 hours to do my dog, not saying how many other dogs you were able to complete in the interim. With the experience you have you should have been able to give me an estimate. Shame on me for ever leaving her there without one.

We have been taking our dog to A1 for years. Kristen is wonderful with him. She's the only person he trusts to cut his nails. He always looks great after she has groomed him and he leaves a happy boy.

Excellent groomer. Does awesome work. She treats your animals just like her own. I have one dog scared to death to have his nails done. However she took such good care of him he never minded it at all. Would definitely recommend.

I will no longer be taking my puppy to be groomed here. Kristin was the one who cut his hair and left my dog with two burns that became infections. I called to get an explanation and she told me it’s my fault for not brushing his hair. Every other time I had no issue but clearly they have stopped caring about pets here. I would recommend people find a different groomer. Absolutely terrible. Will never be returning here again.** those “pictures” that are your proof isn’t even my dog.

Very very unprofessional , my appointment was at 2:30 waited 2 weeks for this appointment confirmed twice and I wrote it down on my calendar . Showed up at exactly 2:30 for the last to come outside and say no your appointment was at 2 pm when I had it written down and confirmed several times . They did not see my dog . Takes days for them to even call back . Do not recommend
