Love this place. I was there in town for a few weeks and I was able to drop my boy off to them anytime. I like that I didn't have to schedule a appointment and they were always friendly and accommodating. My boy was always wore out when he came home. Great place and staff!

It was last minute and we were in Pensacola with 2 of our dogs. We needed a place for them to stay overnight but not just any place would do. This wasn't just any place. The staff was so friendly, they "luxury suite" was so clean. Having camera access to my dogs 24/7 was the best part!!! Wish we had a Dog Stop where I live.

We love that he gets to play in a playroom with other dogs all weekend instead of being crated! The option to see him via cameras is also really nice. The staff are wonderful here. I def recommend them.

In the past we used a reputable kennel, and at first we were pleased with the service. During the last two stays, our pup came home depressed. After visiting the Dog Stop for grooming services, we decided to board him there on our next out of town vacation. We could not be more pleased as we were able to view him on the pup cams and tell that he was enjoying himself. Upon picking him up he was his same old happy go lucky self. We highly recommend the Dog Stop.

The staff here really do care for all the dogs. I boarded my dog for 4 days and loved having the cameras available to view whenever I wanted to check in on my dog. It was a bit of an adjustment period for my dog since his normal bathroom routine didn't match with the boarding schedule. It seemed like the dogs were brought back to the kennels around 5-5:30pm and then let out again between 8-9am. The staff also addressed all my concerns I had when I contacted them through email, and they responded quickly. Thanks for being awesome!

I am visiting my family from out of town and desperately needed to get my cockapoo groomed (he had an ear infection and was not able to be groomed before we left home as originally planned). I was nervous to bring him somewhere new, but took a chance and brought him to the Dog Spot after reading reviews. They were very sweet when I checked him in and the groomer came out to greet us quickly. She did exactly what I asked for and he looks so cute!! I will forever bring him back when I am in town, even just to get a bath :) Thank you!!

They give away services to their favorites. Go to Cains Dog House. Much better place for your dog to be boarded and nails trimmed. Cains is professional. They have been around locals forever.

If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would! They knew ours dogs by name by the second time bringing them! They seemed so excited to see our pups again and the pups were super happy as well. They can even tell you what my dogs did like the whole day. It warms my heart they care and genuinely care about them and even laugh at things your dog did during the day! I know they are well taken care of whenever we leave them here. Love this place so much.

I’ve taken my dog here several times for grooming and it is very hit or miss. I’ve come back for the few times it has turned out well but after the last cut I will not be going back. I gave very clear instructions and showed pictures of what I wanted and nothing was accomplished they just shaved my dog to their convenience. After 2 hours I called to check on her status they informed me of matting issues and I told them to try and work around the problem if possible and if not then I would try and work on the problem at home. But I clearly stated before getting off the phone don’t shave her leg and they did it anyways. To top it off they never called to let me know when my pup was finished. I show up four and a half hours later and apparently she was done. The person at the desk stated they called but refused to show me proof. It was a horrible experience.

The customer service at the Dog Stop is EXCELLENT! Everyone is always so kind and so accommodating. Someone came out to my car at drop off and at pick up so that I would not have to get out with my sleeping newborn for such a short time. I greatly appreciated them going the extra mile to help. Also - the new groomer Shannon is FANTASTIC! I was told she was great with golden doodles, and she truly was! My boy Cash had the best haircut he has ever had! 100% highly recommend!

We had family come in over the weekend and the last minute they wanted to go to New Orleans during their stay. Called The Dog Stop the day before we were to leave to see if they had any availability for boarding. They were wonderful and accommodating through the whole experience. I was able to place both of my dogs in boarding at the last minute with no issues. I will continue to use The Dog Stop for all my daycare and boarding needs. Excellent staff and excellent facility.

My 2 pups stayed here for a long weekend over Labor Day. I loved that I could log in and see them at anytime in there room and during daycare. I went for the large luxury room so both our dogs could stay together and it was worth it. I even logged in one time and caught one of the workers loving on my pup and it made my day.

Their staff is the kindest, most accommodating, and well trained I’ve seen and my dog has been to 3 local doggy daycares. We have had all three of our dogs there for grooming. They are so good with our dogs. I recommend them for grooming. We haven't used them for doggie day care or boarding, but the facilities are so nice and the staff is great.

Update : I am updating this review to reflect the current situation. As noted in my original re review, I had high praises for Jamie. I had actually booked appointments with her for 12 months out. However, I learned that Jamie was no longer with them. Good customer service would suggest that they contact me to let me know and tell me who would be the new groomer. That was not the case. I have canceled all of my appointments.Having 3 poodles, we're pretty picky about who grooms them. Jamie at the Dog Stop is amazing. She does a great groom and has the patience of a Saint. Our toy is not an easy dog to groom, but she never complains. I highly recommend them.

Took my dog there and it was a terrible experience from the beginning. Very unfriendly staff, didn’t get a call when they were ready, then when I picked him up, they said that he was too nervous and they couldn’t do much, but they still charged me for services they didn’t even provide.My dog is super friendly so it was strange, and also, why charge someone for services that weren’t even offered?Don’t recommend at all! Save your money and time

I’m finally getting caught up reviewing things after our move and this place is great! My family just got stationed here and I called them to board my dogs while we were in a hotel before closing on our house. Of course closing got pushed back soI had to call to get their stay extended and it was no problem!Great customer service, my pups were happy and clean, and the price is fair!

I have four dogs & bring them regularly to the Dog Spot for baths and grooming. The staff is friendly and my dogs always look great. Scheduling is easy and, because they are open early/late, it’s convenient to drop off and pick up around my work schedule.
