Very friendly staff. I was immediate greeted and helped. I was a little disappointed they don’t carry any vegetarian or plant based dog foods. My dog has an animal protein allergy, so she can only eat plant based or fish products. I ended up getting her a salmon based food. Fingers crossed she will do well on it. They have everything what you would need. Pet beds, carriers, toys, etc. I was happy to find a premium store with a short distance from Pensacola Beach. They have a small cat adoption area with 4 temporary homes for babies waiting for they forever home. This store is owned by Tractor Supply. They are conveniently located near the Winn Dixie in a medium sized shopping center.Sorry for the cloudy photos. I dropped my phone at the turtle conservation center and the impact broke my lens. Bummer!

The two younger gentlemen who work there have POOR customer service. Every time I go in there to purchase crickets for my beardie Its ALWAYS an inconvenience to get them. I even had one of the guys tell me to get them myself.. I was SHOCKED! I even purchased a bearded dragon from them a couple of months ago. They didn't seem to know anything about them, how to care for them or anything. They most certainly couldn't answer any of my questions. Which is sad.. if you sell an animal its your responsibility to know how to care for it. I feel management needs to hire people who actually know how to do their job.. and who wants to do their job. If there were another pet store in Gulf Breeze that sold crickets this would be the last place I go to purchase anything.. The two guys who work there need to learn a little more about customer service.

I was leary about trying a new groomer because my two are 10 & 12 years old. I was completely excited about how well Jamie groomed my babies. She's very nice and seems to love her job, which is a plus. I couldnt get a great picture but I tried. I will definently use Jamie to groom my two again. My maltese looked just like cotton.

Our rescue puppy doesnt have a lot of hair but what she lacks in fur, she makes up for in nails. They irritate her. Being a rescue, I didnt want to try clipping on my own. The groomer was friendly, and loved being with Zelda. We will absolutely return for more pupper baths.

The dog food I buy is out more often than in stock here. So, I asked if they logged lost sales, I'm assuming the person that snapped back at me was a manager, though he wasn't in uniform and was carrying a fast food cup on the sales floor. I was abruptly cut off and told it's manufacturer issues.No it's not, I went to Pet Sense and they had it in stock as usual.I live between both and typically pick the one that's most convenient for my travel, but one of these two stores gets a lot more sales from me than the other.In summary, I wanted to help them know they were missing sales opportunities and not be berated as if I don't know how the retail customer service industry operates.

Brought my dogs in for grooming 8/31/2021. Groomer clipped my pups nails way too short. Didn't notice till we had gotten home and he was leaving bloody paw prints on our white comforter and in pain.

4/5 stars because prices are a bit too high for the same brands you can buy from other stores cheaper.The selection of items & the staff members were great! I found everything I needed easily. Again, the only complaint I have is the prices being too high.Definitely stop by though! Great store!

What a great down south feeling when you walk in. Not only from some of the greatest customer service with wonderful and full hearted people like Sam. She was so helpful in getting all my dogs needs and even went ahead and set up all the perks and points for when I shop there. (Thanks Sam!)! That way I save as much as possible with my HOSS of a dog and get points too. This store also just has a great selection of everything you about need. I was mainly looking for dog stuff but me ole Busta found the rabbits....and of course had to say hi! Definitely a great store to check out and get everything you need at a great price. Thanks again Sam! You are awesome and great to talk to about my dog.Chaaa😎🤙

Store was great and well stocked even though they don’t have glass fish bowls. Was able to easily find all the other products I needed. My sales guy Trent was awesome to deal with and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

Nice pet store. Shopped here a few times and never had any issues. It's definitely less crowded than it's competitors. I recently took my dog in for grooming and Megan was great! She was very considerate, friendly and personable.

Nice, clean store. Good selection. Only giving 3 stars, because I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in (there was a worker at the front) or offered any help, even though I circled the same 2 aisles, three times. I was looking for a certain product. He was helpful when I walked up and asked for help, although he knew nothing about the products. I was the only customer in the store.

TOOK my puppy in and asked for help picking a harness. The cashier picked and sold me a size large. Got home, put it on the dog and she would get out of it ( set on the smallest size). Took it back a week later. Spoke to a guy ( supposedly the dog expert), he assured me it was the right size and wouldn't exchange it for a medium. Spoke to the manager several weeks later, no luck just supported her employees. The dog is now two years old and still gets out of it. In my opinion, this store has no CUSTOMER SERVICE. FIY the store manager told me that they are owned by tractor supply. Tractor Supply, if you want to make it right, I would like to exchange it for a medium.

We just left the GulfBreeze petsence and I am appalled. It was my first visit but my sister in law regularly uses their dog wash. The young ladies working there failed to tell us that the dryer wasn’t working before we went in to bathe the dogs and she also failed to tell us that the ramp into the bath was broken. When I questioned her as we were leaving she very rudely remarked that she gave us towels. And when I suggested that she should have informed us of the situation before we entered she said another customer broke it. I also pointed out that there was another dryer in the groomers room not being used. She said we weren’t allowed to use it and we only paid $10.00 a dog and she gave us towels. She was not courteous and towels were not adequate to dry these dogs. So we have wet dogs in the car and in the house with my brother in law who just came home from hospital. I could have saved them 20$ and bathed them at the house. We won’t be coming back!

Meh.Customer service is almost non existent, employees are always gabbing every time I walk in to get pet items. They're almost always out of live food. Good if you need staples that can't wait a day or two, otherwise I go elsewhere..

My dog had an ear infection and one of the clerks, a young woman, directed me to a very good medication, which has worked almost immediately. They give good advice on dog food and general care. The store isn't tiny but it's not big either and it has a small store feel to it. I highly recommend them!

I bought proplan and it was priced 60.99. I got to my car and saw that they charged 74.99. I went back in and the said, “oh that myst be an old sign. The manager changes the signs and has not been in in 3 days.” Then they said the computer is the right price. I told they might want to take the signed down then. I didn’t even plan on buying that dog food. I’m so irritated.

I am so happy this place is here! We desperately needed a great pet store.I took my dog for grooming services and she was awesome! My dog can be a handful and Courtney was so wonderful with him, and the manager was very hands on with working with us and our schedule. I highly recommend them. We will continue to use there services.

We like this pet store especially since it carries the cat food that our cats like. The employees are friendly and helpful. so why three stars, the cat food that we get is usually 3 for $4 and every time we have been there the price that is rung up is incorrect and we have to tell them and it becomes a hassle to get the correct price.

BEST PET STORE EVER! Hands-Down! A lovely employee named Bella went above & beyond helping me with appropriate products for my cat Baxter who is itchy, scabby in some areas, and has a ton of pet dander. Bella took time with me and educated me on this topic. She told me what was necessary for my cat and was very genuine with her recommendations. Bella really knows her stuff when it comes to cats! She told me she is a cat lover, and I could tell because of how passionate she was in helping me solve my problem. She introduced me to helpful products that I didn't even know existed, but am happy to have found! Typically, pet store employees don't proactively engage with and take the time with customers, but Bella blew me away with her level of knowledge and expertise! She is knowledgeable about pets in general, but her specialty is cats, so if you have a cat and love it with all your heart, do yourself a favor and visit Bella at PetSense! You won't regret it!

Made a sizable purchase and was checked out by Kevin Rumpf the manager. Daughter and I felt like we were being held there too long as he would not stop talking. He was talking on and on carrying on the conversation all on his own as we were not encouraging it meanwhile scanning the merchandise and not paying attention to what he was doing. He scanned a couple of our items twice and thankfully my daughter caught it before I paid.Came back a week later and a nice gal checked me out and asked if I am military. They give military discounts there. I was appreciative to her but at the same time little irritated that I did not get the discount when I made a large purchase with Kevin. I usually ask for military discount when I go somewhere new but he just kept going on and on and wouldn't give us a chance to leave. My daughter and I were ready to run out the store. I feel if we were men he would not have been so chatty. It was a little odd experience.

Not often do we take the time to write reviews of positive expriences.This evening I went to pick up some cat food. According to my receipt, Trenton was the one that helped me. Shout out to this young man for being genuinely pleasant and helpful. This guy seems to really like his job, cheerful and polite. We need more guys like this aound.
