Marks Ark is an outstanding pet store, boasting over 30 years of history. Family-owned, it radiates warmth and care. Their pets, ranging from fish to reptiles, rodents to insects, are not only friendly but also in excellent health. Personally, I adore their birds; each one is a joy to interact with. I recently purchased a pair of parakeets, and they’re incredibly friendly. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a wonderful companion, be it furry, feathered, or otherwise!

I love this store so so much! what makes our experience so special every time is Becca, who usually is working at the shop when we come! She is knowledgeable, helpful, super friendly and very accommodating. We have had to have purchased almost 20 animals from Marks Arc recently and Becca has helped us with almost every one! Her knowledge on animal care is vast and this store will always keep us coming back!

Heard about Mark's Ark from another big box pet store. Checked out the reviews and saw complaints about the customer service and was a little hesitant. However, we were offered service almost immediately upon arrival by Shawn- we explained what we were there for but wanted to look around a little first. Shawn was kind enough to check back with us and took care of us right away. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the fish and even shared when they received new fish.The store had a great selection of freshwater fish to choose from. The website tells you what came in the latest deliveries so you have an idea before you even go if they may have what you are looking for.Definitely recommend Mark's Ark and Shawn!

Worst place ever!!! Bought a snake, took it home, started acting strange. Took it to vet. Died b4 I got there. Vet said had a contagious disease. Tried to talk to owner. Terribly rude and insensitive and in now way cooperative!!!! I’m out $800 Now my cat is sick!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡 enter at your own risk!!!

Great place for freshwater and salt water fish. Wouldn't buy axolotls here as their idea of an aquarium chiller is just a duct from the A/c aimed at the water. The rest of the place is ok and just like every fish place that has puffers they claim that all of the figure 8s and non dwarf spotteds are fresh water however they do far better in brackish environments. Pricing is good though and fresh fish food is awesome .

I've gotten a cockatiel here and a ferret, and both were wonderful people friendly animals. The price was also a lot better than the other local pet stores and the staff is always super helpful with questions or concerns I might have. It's a great little spot for small mammals, reptiles, and fish.

I have bought this Fish for my aquarium from Mark Ark from buying experience to staff always a joy to deal with. I had been to this store for live freshwater plants, aquarium filters and food the staff is always friendly and helpful. This store is very clean and dont smell bad and they carry a wide variety of fish and reptiles. Family owned i believe so please give them a try.

I cannot express how pleased I am with this establishment; it truly is a charming little shop. They offer a stunning array of aquatic fish, plants, mammals, and reptiles, all impeccably cared for. The staff consistently exudes helpfulness and kindness, going above and beyond by even notifying me when my desired items are available. Having visited numerous pet stores in the area, I must declare that Mark's Ark stands head and shoulders above the rest, making it my top choice by far.

I just moved to Florida this week so I was on the hunt to find the perfect reptile/fish store.I decided to check out this place after being disappointed by another shop in the area. Boyyyyyyy I wish I came here first. Danielle helped me on the floor picking out my new member of the family. She was awesome. Super knowledgeable & friendly. I’ve never had someone take their time to explain the proper care in my life for my other reptiles. I will be a frequent buyer. Thank you so much.

Horrible customer service and they sell sick pets. I know of a family friend who bought two doves from there and they were sick and deceased with no cause in less than three months. My ex recently gifted me a beautiful baby pied ball python which I was in love with that cost him $500 and less than two months later I come home from work and he’s dead in his cage. Again supposedly no history of illness on their end. I’m 30 years old and as an experienced reptile owner, have handled and owned a variety of different species of snakes and reptiles since I was 5 years old. I am very disappointed to learn they will do nothing for me and my beloved poor snake whom has passed even if I did a necropsy proving it was nothing I did that caused him to pass. He was eating fine and cage was appropriate and suitable for him. Do not buy animals from here for the owner is rude and they sell sick overpriced animals. Super disappointed and my heart is broken and I’m left feeling hurt and like a failure since he passed of an unknown cause. Thanks for the constant let downs!

While they have a wide selection of items it is absolutely disgusting in the store the floors are wet throughout and the entire store stinks of urine. Tiny selection of barely alive coral. poor customer service did t help either. There are better pet stores to go to.

The best place to get anything pet or aquarium related. Dont go to Petco or the other bozos. The customer service is superb as well as the quality.

I saw great ratings for it. I didn’t check to see if they had arachnids or insects (which is my thing) and I was pleasantly surprised with some cool bugs I got to take home. It’s pretty well kept in there and I can’t say much outside of the insects, but they’re all in nice set ups and knowing your animals are treated properly before you purchase them is important. I definitely recommend!

Great pet store for fish and birds. They have lots of feeder mice and feeder fish. Not the best place for dogs and cats. The best part is the island of open top bird and ferret cages. The store is located towards the back of the plaza.

Just visited Mark's Ark.(assume the owner helped me)I wanted some small frags for a new setup, I have been keeping reefs for 30 yrs. Very fair price. If your in the market for a nice hammer coral, this will be the spot!Cya's, probably next week! <laugh>
