This is a good place to shop but, if you like the dollar general penny shopping, this is not a place to go. I was inside the store penny shopping and witnessed 2 employees literally removing all penny items from the shelves. From 2023 graduation items to father's day mugs.

Honestly most Dollar General stores are filthy. Today's workers don't know the saying if you have time to lean you have time to clean. The corporate office is the one at the end of the day responsibile for this because they are constantly sending freight and don't have the employees they need to keep it up and big lack of training. Over a year ago one manager was the BEST. Once she left it went downhill at the Green Cove Springs Fl. Store. Meant of the shelf prices don't match what it rings up. I will say the cashier took my word and actually took an additional 25 cents off and she was friendly. The other employee was stocking but had her phone music on playing. Just a shame that it could be better and as it is now you just want to get in and get out. If the appearance was better and atmosphere better they would have more sales. I hope corporate hears complaints but it's very doubtful.

Dollar General is fading away. The shelf prices dot match the register prices, its all self check out & when you need help the 1 person in duty seems annoyed you do. They have too many restriction on their digital coupons probably because the stores pricing is off? I just know the 5$ off 25$ on Saturday should be all week. Some of us have no public transportation on the weekend

Just left this store and the customer service is HORRIBLE! The young lady that was working acted like she did not want to be there! She was NOT FRIENDLY OR INVITING! She rolled her eyes as if she had a problem! I did not want to interact with her so I went to the self check out! Her name was Briancle or something like not sure. But I will NOT be returning to this location!

Today while in Dollar General with my husband I witnessed an employee named Debbie treat another employee named Tasha with such disregard and disrespect that it has prompted the one star rating..not for any other reason as the store was clean and well organized and Tasha was polite, friendly and helpful. The young lady Tasha was checking me out and I had a rather large order with several clearance items so had asked her to ring them up first to ensure the correct pricing because I have had issues here in the past with sale and/or clearances not ringing up correctly. The young lady was accommodating and pleasant and I felt was assisting me in a timely fashion. Debbie however approached a few times, completely interrupting not only Tasha but myself as well asking about random items that were on the side of her register refused by a previous customer because she didn't like the price of the item. She was rude and scowling at the young lady as if she had done something wrong..this happened three times with other random questions that could have easily been talked about after customers were assisted and out of earshot. Meanwhile the line of customers behind me grew until finally with a huff she begrudgingly opened another register to help. I felt sorry for those customers because they never got a smile or even an acknowledgement from her. Debbie if you hate your job it sure showed today..if not you need to learn how to speak to other people you work with like an adult and not a child having a bad day. Tasha did such a good job keeping her cool as I would have lost my temper! Debbie..customers help to pay your salary and also deserve some respect and not be subjected to your bad day! Grow up!

They usually have most everything you would need at a dollar store, however the short (I think manager woman) makes every experience miserable . She is short with black hair if I recall, everytime I go she is in a bad mood and whenever I get checked out by her I leave the store as if I just went to a funeral.... please train her further or do something, that is very very poor customer service and it makes me not want to come back. Also 9 times out of 10 that I arrive at the store she is outside smoking ... almost 100% of the time, I'm sure she could use the company's time better.

If ya’ll value your customers that new manager (I think she’s new, I haven’t even seen her here that often if she’s not new) has GOT TO GO or needs better training, something has got to happen. She’s rude, I mean the rudest manager I’ve ever encountered in my life. I’ve spoken to several people I know that also frequent this location as well and none of us will be returning until something is done.

If you look hard enough, just about everything you need for personal, home cleaning, DIY crafts, family dinners, party decorations, movie candy, seasonal decorations, ....well I could go on! Is at this store. Clean, well-lighted, too. Shop here right after you have visited the Dollar Tree & you should have just about all you need & at a great price. Happy shopping

Kinda typical dollar store. Prices are typical, buy store is poorly lit, and the staff is meh at best. If they make eye contact or speak above an unintelligible mumble I count it as a victory.I mean, it's a dollar store y'all, so don't have hi expectations

I'm kind of disappointed at this location cuz I love dollar general but this exact location apparently doesn't have someone to change the price tags cuz everything I bought today was more expensive then what the price tag actually said.

Ms. Debbie is the manager. She is amazing. The store was dirty and always disorganized before she took over. Now, it is great. The staff is helpful. The store is organized and clean! Way to go Ms Debbie

The staff varies from really rude, to really nice. It depends on who you get. The store is usually stocked with a decent amount of merchandise. Average selection. Cleanliness is an issue at times.

Much better than the Dollar General on the Clay High side of town. If you're able to make the longer trip its well worth it. Better selection, cleaner, and friendlier staff by far.

During one experience here, the only communication was a price said out loud. No hello, how are you, did you find everything. Literally, no eye contact, scanned 3-4 items and said the price. Gave him the money, no have a good day or thanks for your business. If it wasn't for convience we wouldn't shop here.

I had a hard time finding stuff in their store, then got accused of stealing because I was "wandering aimlessly ", ummm...I'm obviously searching for an item? And isn't that how people shop is by walking around? Screw that store, I haven't shopped at a Dollar General since.

Try updating your hours on Google even if it's just temporary, you guys wasted a ton of time and gas for a lot of people, closing 3 hours early I bet 100 cars drove in and walked up to see your closed sign.

False pricing Band-Aid say $1 on the Shelf and you taken up there and they are dollar and a half and they said all that was a mistake back there well then how come they got it on six different ones all of them so must a you know there's one in Green Cove is up its the one on 16 you got to watch everything that goes on there
