We drove about 2 1/2 hours to try this place with a group of friends. Overall, I enjoyed it.Cons:- the air conditioning cannot keep up so its warm and slightly stuffy when it's busy- it gets crowded in there, and the kitchen seemed to have trouble keeping up (it was an hour wait for our food), but it was Saturday night, and we were a group of 11 with no reservations.- the salad bar doesn't have a wide variety of choices, but everything was fresh and at the appropriate temperature.Pros:- they aren't joking when they say the fried shrimp are HUGE!!- our server, Chloe, was awesomeAll in all, a great meal and we plan to go back when in the area.

I don’t understand how anyone can eat here? The carpet is matted , and it smells like it rains inside the building . The pungent Odor is so strong - it is clear that mildew is present and possibly mold. This can not be sanitary. The food is not that great for the price and tastes of the smell in the building.

Ceiling falling in. Two trash cans were by the register to catch rain. It wasn’t raining so not sure what is going on with the roof and ceiling.Went to restroom and my shoes stuck to the floor.The food tasted good but they really need to clean up and attend to their issues with the building

Not a big fan of this place. My husband and I decided to try it out, it's tight quarters not really a lot of room to feel comfortable. The food was good, but salad bar was almost empty. When my husband asked the waitress about a meal on the menu that has the prices (so we were already aware) made it a point to let my husband know that particular meal was $37 & some change. Not really sure why she felt it necessary to inform him of the price as if we can't read..but none the less, we won't return to this establishment.

We had a enjoyable meal of shrimp and fish ,with a small salad bar which was good,wish they didn't use shredded lettuce,otherwise good, shrimp and fish were good as well,only drawback was the ceiling tile and bathrooms need improvement ceiling is dirty appearing and outdated as well as by cash register...not very appealing...food and service made up for this only shortfall,I think business could increase with these updates...! Worth a return visit...

We had heard great things about this place so we tried it. Never again. Ordered a steak had to wait over 40 mins for it. When brought to table it was burnt. A well done steak doesn't have to be burnt. I was unable to eat. If you are going to offer steaks on your menu then you should know how to cook them. We will not be back.As it wouldn't let me leave a reply to your reply I edited this post. You are correct as we did get 2 of the steaks removed. I never asked for that and told our waitress not to. I also agree mistakes happen. But 3 unedible steaks at $30 a piece is a huge mistake. My Dad did eat some of his because he is 75 years old and was taught to not waste food. That is the only reason it was eaten. If 1 steak had come out wrong I wouldn't have said anything and would have ordered something else but all 3 steaks were bad. I did pay for 2 of them at first and the waitress came outside and said no you shouldn't have and refunded me $30.

I enjoyed an evening meal with a friend returning from Florida to Dothan. This is a nice little place which is well established local dinner on highway 77 which runs through town. The wheelchair entrance is on the side. It small restaurant with tables and chairs set around the place. The exterior is round which I'm sure is where the Circle Grill name came from. The service was wonderful and the people were very nice. I posted pictures of our meals and a snapshot of the menu.

While the menu and salad bar could use a bit more diversity, the food was tasty and the service was very good considering how busy things were. The only real detractors for me was just how old all the furniture and decor was. The carpet is starting to tatter, the paint job is awful, and the chairs are uncomfortable. It was a real distraction from the rest of my meal.

Circle Grill was a favorite of mine when I lived in Graceville, Florida. Great food, warm family atmosphere, and wonderful servers and staff! They are always friendly and fast with their service. I was in the area and had to stop here for dinner. From burgers to steak to seafood and much more, you will leave full and satisfied! I ordered the Surf n’ Turf. Great stuff!

I had not been to the Circle Grill in many decades but decided to go and try out their shrimp and maybe other items. I took my boyfriend and we both had a delicious meal and the best service. So glad we decided To go and will indeed visit again. I hope our waitress will read this review because she is awesome. The shrimp was great, the salad bar was limited but very fresh, service was great

Heard lot of good things about this place. Really was underwhelmed. The 1 trip with meal salad bar was really good. Fried shrimp were kind of greasy, pre-made hushpuppies were like rock candy and couldn't eat them. Grilled shrimp didn't appear to even have any seasoning at all and had barely been on the grill long enough to turn them pink. The onion rings were really good, not sure if we would make the drive from Dothan back down there again. If I lived there it might be different but not worth a 35 Mike drive.

My wife and I walked in, sat down, and waited 5 minutes to be noticed. In those 5 minutes we slowly became aware of the faint smell of urine permeating the establishment. That’s when we decided to head a block over to Grady’s, where we were greeted at the door as we entered and enjoyed a fine meal.

Pros:Got fried shrimp, fries, with side order of onion rings. Good size shrimp and onion rings were sliced perfectly. All was cooked properly. Server was most attentive to our needs.Cons:All lacked seasoning in the batter leading to a very bland meal and less than satisfying. Not up to Circle Grille quality of past. Very disappointing experience.

First time eating here and it was great. The grilled chicken strips were tasty. The spices used during cooking gave them a wonderful flavor. The seafood sampler was fried to perfection. The shrimp were huge. We were very happy with our food and will be back to try the steak soon.

I wouldn’t even leave one star because it was horrible…The server was bad lack of kindness and super rude very slow they all seemed to have acted liked they never had waitress before.. my friend had a to go order then when it was brought out they realized they made a mistake and wanted to take out the food that was already prepared in the plate and seemed to have a nasty attitude about being it was our first time there I would never recommend this place and we won’t be back..Our drinks got one refill they kept forgetting what kind of drinks we had and they wasn’t even busy…. We was very disappointed

Have always enjoyed the fried shrimp here in year's past. Not so much today. Maybe the oil was a tad old. Baked potato and fries were good and fresh and all the food was hot. Salad to go was a very small container...not a great value for it as a side. Also, Large sweet tea pretty small. But the overall price was not bad. 12 fried shrimp, fries and tea plus an add on salad and baked potato (very fresh) for like $21.

We were passing through and staying in Graceville for the night. Since we had our dog with us, we had our order to go. The shrimp were a nice size and fries were good, but lacked seasoning. The hush puppies, 2 very small ones, were absolutely terrible and should not have been served. Graceville itself was a nice refreshing stop.

I've been eating there since high school in the early 1960s. The shrimp were big and tasty then, and still are today. We went 2 weeks ago and were very pleased with the service and the food. The friendly atmosphere is another benefit.

Another local spot within driving distance of just about anywhere in south Alabama if you're close to 231 South or the Chipley/Marianna area. Worth the drive. Doesn't look like much outside, but don't let that fool you. YET ANOTHER PLACE with a GREAT HAMBURGER STEAK w/gravy and onions. The Onion Ring Appetizer is more than plenty for two. Order large shrimp or small. Menu can be for two size eaters. Steaks, fish .. Geez! Just go. We've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They do a tremendous take-out, but not a long wait. Try 'em once. No pricier than anywhere else either. Surf or Turf . That's what we like.

This restaurant has been around for years!!! It's not beautiful but the food sure makes up for the beauty of the building I promise!!! I always get shrimp when I go eat there ever since I was a kid. They are huge I mean huge lightly battered and fried just right. Delicious** The onion rings, fried pickles and fries are great too!!! If your hungry for good fried shrimp head their direction...

Decent enough, though service is slower than it should be. My glass of tea is constantly empty, so I usually bring in my own. The food is good, but nothing to rave about.I usually go here when another local place is closed.Update: service even slower than before, screaming children from employees, small portions, poor service, and they will lie to you if they don't want to do something.I will not likely be returning, which is sad for a local business.

I have personally been coming to the Circle Grill for years and have got the same entree consistently for about 4 years, so this review will mainly focus on the service. I can honestly say that I have never gone into the Circle Grill and felt that I am unwanted or needing to be in a hurry. The waitresses are very attentive and professional. In regards to the food, the shredded salad is extremely good in my opinion. Overall this place is a great family atmosphere with exceptional food!
