Good morning, please check the specials they give at the Walmart in Gibsonton, they are not true, today April 21, 2024 I bought several medicines to give to a person who is sick and when I went to pay said another price, the person they had Taking care of the ATMs, she tells me that she can't do anything because she had to pay it at that price. I told her that I had the photo so she could see that I was saying the right thing and she went to Russia to see it. I told her to call. Manayer to help me and it was worse, Manayer, an uneducated person, did not treat me very badly because I did not want to go to where the medicine department was because it was a little far away within Walmart itself, in short he went and rectified and saw that I was right about what I was saying and with tremendous bad treatment and fighting he gave me the discount that the medicines said and then he acknowledged that it was a bad job on their part there, please take the time to review the prices that are not truth and then listen to the bad way of treating clients and the workers without experience of how to serve their public and their clients, greetings, excellent day to all

Normally I would give them five stats, but not now. I am a walmart plus member. The membership helps me a lot to get in and out quickly when I need to. Well the other day I was in a huge hurry. I needed to make a desert I make that all my friends love and beg me to make for them. It was for after a funeral that same day. So needless to say I was in a hurry. I paid for my items, and was trying to walk out the door when I was stopped by a receipt checker. I tried to show her my receipt, but I usually choose to have my receipt texted to me and I had not received it yet. Normally this is not a problem. I didn't have very many items and they were all bagged so I explained to the woman that the receipt had not come yet told her I was in a hurry, and proceeded to walk out. That is when she grabbed me by my arm and told me that I was not allowed to leave until she saw my receipt. I pulled my am out of her grasp, and told her I am don't have to show her anything and that I was leaving. She immediately started yelling for security, and I walked out. Thankfully I saw a manager that I had dealt with previously right outside the door. So I went up to him and explained exactly what had just happened. He told me that no one HAS to show their receipt. Most people do show it and that is appreciated, but no one HAS to show it to anyone. He said that all employees are aware of that. Than he said that the woman had no right to put her hands on me at all for any reason. He assured me that he was going to immediately take care of the situation. I thanked him and I left.

Walmart's daylight motion sensor outdoor light bulbs are great. They really light my driveway and goes off after 20 seconds with no motion. I would recommend purchasing these bulbs from them.

I will not be returning to this store ( Gibsonton Dr) for anything. I ignored the sub par customer service yesterday.Today. I had an appointment to install 3 new tires at 2pm. It's 5 pm. Mary, who is great by the way, told me 1.5 hrs. I figured 2 hours. It's walmart after all. 👀They JUST started the install! 🤨Although the car has been sitting back there for near 3 hours! How did no one not notice a car sitting in what I assume would be coveted slots for all that time! I had to go back there to enquire. The mechanic that just came on, and was given other keys to work on, checked to see what I needed. We noticed no new tires. He had to go investigate, and offered to do my car right away. Praying it's not a rushed job that puts my safety in jeopardy!Whoever brought it back opted to not do the work because it was close to his clock out time. ( possibly). But COMMUNICATE!Breakdown at the front desk? How do they "work" the list of pending services? This is beyond ridiculous. If I didn't get up to go investigate, I'd be sitting here still waiting for services not being performed. Will stick to the Brandon location from now on🙄

Things are unorganized, staff is usually unwanting to help or doesn't have skill level to address something so I have to figure things out myself. Check outs and self serve are always backed up. They carry just about all you need, establishment is in good shape overall. I dislike coming here, because I spend more time at checkout then shopping. Others people's skill levels (customers) are poor on average so if you expect them to help themselves then you make it worse for the next shopper, who ready to go. I only come here when I NEED to. I just dislike wasting my time. I usually shop online and have home delivery because I want to avoid time loss.

I literally hate this Walmart the store is like someone's closet you have to literally search for what you need here nothing on the shelves and can't find associate and when you do you get attitude because they don't want to work I had a cart full but was so angry looking at the condition of the store and told my husband I didn't want anything from this store I'd rather drive to another location just to shop... horrible store just look at the photos.

It is always good but prices need to come down. Example great value canned mushrooms were $1.08. They are $2.58. Regular brand is $1.88. So they are scalping. Same on many other items

Everything was out of place and thrown around even in the freezer section, went to buy pokemon cards and a pizza and almost all the packages for cards were ripped open and stolen as if someone sat there for minutes stealing and no one cared.

Cashiers are friendly... lot of Management standing around! They could be on the registers and get the lines of customers out of the store. Bathrooms were just like photos show. Shaking my head, simply because it says a lot about the female employees that work there!

I will be thinking twice before shopping at Walmart and when I do I will be watching like a hawk. You shouldn't have to take a photo of the price to make sure it doesn't ring up two dollars more like it did today. Luckily the price was on a sticker. And you should be able to buy a pkg of hamburger buns without taking them home for your hamburger you planned to eat that afternoon to find they are molded. Customer Service Grade: FAIL

I went in today to purchase spray paint. Store policy puts the spray paint in locked cases so I walked through the hardware dept. to find an associate which I didn't find so I stood in front of the case for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. A stock associate walked past me and didn't acknowledge me except to look at me when I spoke to her. I usually don't shop at Walmart but it was on my way today and again I didn't really shop there today because the only thing I spent there was my time. If you like to be ignored this is the store for you.

Horrible customer service and long lines. After using self checkout on a busy Saturday, I did not receive my money from the self checkout. Took two days to reach anyone by phone. I spoke to Crystal, she spoke to someone who checked the cameras and the customer behind me took my money. I was told to pursue the matter with law enforcement on my own. Extremely disappointed that this was the resolution.

I'm very disappointed in this walmart use to be very nice to shop in. Now is an unpleasant event when I go. I started shopping elsewhere due to this. Bad service, limited stock. Not good for me. I will rather drive extra miles to further locations for walmart.

The parking lot itself reached it's end of life about 5 years ago, rough, pitted. On the the store itself, the grocery section should be called the land of the empty shelves. Only Publix's high prices causes me to go there.

There is a young girl that works here. Very blue eyes, forgive me if I get her name wrong, I believe it is Edissa? She was wonderful to me. So helpful and kind. She was so patient with me, I didn’t even know what I was looking for but she helped me find the perfect thing! I truly appreciate the help after having surgery. Walmart is so blessed to have her.

There are ALOT of horror stories out there in many "food handling" areas, and yet another one for Walmart. 5 Roma type tomatoes fell out of the large bin onto the "floor" Sat 2-10 around 4:30 pm and woman employee picked them up and threw them BACK into the bin! I immediately told her supervisor standing by talking w deli employee and he went to that woman. I was pulled around to get my deli order but wished I had seen that woman's expression at being addressed by her spanish suprv.! She should have been fired on the spot or at least escorted away by the man!! Employees just don't care nor "think" not only what they do in their job, but that others/esp. customers SEE their antics! Again, alot of other unknown-to-the-public horrors!

I will never be caught dead in Walmart ever again. It's not a Walmart problem it's a people problem as long as they keep getting their money, nothing will change. We need to boycott Walmart force change. Be the change we wish to see. This Walmart has a rating of 3.7 yet have corporate done anything to improve. No. I spent an hour shopping to find out Walmart is one of the only stores in the country that doesn't take tap pay. My vending machine at work and the rinky dink gas station behind my house take tap. Then I tryed to set up Walmart pay. The app would not function properly it took 20 mins just to get the robot for the call center to put me on hold to talk to a person. Then the call center hung up on me after again putting me on hold. This is a people problem stop shopping at Walmart. Zero customer service terrible electronic systems. Genuine complete trash as a whole and yet we still spend money there. Please stop.

The actual store is nice, but the McDonald's inside of it has very sloppy work. The fries were barely filled halfway, and were saturated in grease, which made them limp, floppy, and soggy. The burger was very messily thrown together. And my drink was *not* diet.

Not enough employees or managers. Had a problem with Walmart pay at the register, was sent to customer service and they weren't sure how to fix it. She couldn't find a manager, she eventually figured it out.

As consumers we are quick to share our negative experience with establishments regardless of all the positive. I chose to share a positive one today 10/24/2023 and it's all thanks to Mrs. Kimberly G! She is the epitome of "Over and Beyond" customer service! To ensure my inquiry and concerns were addressed she messaged the correct party, (whom I spent 3 days and 18 calls trying to reach) to contact me directly. She obtained my contact information, name, and brief description of the issue. Though these efforts may seem simple to most, it's the "Over and Beyond" action this employee took that 3 others did not, simple yet effective! This was truly an excellent display of customer service!

Just recently started going back to Walmart. Prices are better there when grocery shopping. Wish there was a neighborhood Walmart closer in Riverview off Boyette or Fishawk. I do have one negative comment. I am really getting tired of when needing help to find something, I ask a walmart employee where something is, and I get an answer " I don't speak English". This is America, learn English, I will do the same if I visit the country you came from.

Just another Big Box Wal Mart. One redeeming factor for our family is the closeness to the interstate. We can stop quickly on the way home from other destinations.This location is located in a town that is mostly filled with Carnies and Circus folks. Nothing wrong with that, just be prepared as to some things you may see....

When will Walmart stop doing this? Lines are ridiculous. Every single shopping cart randomly sitting in the parking lot or over stuffed in the receptacle. It's a $450B business that has the worst reputation.
