We are a travel nurse family and we absolutely loved our time at Port Cove RV resort. It is tucked away in a gated community right on the St. John’s River. There is a dog park, pool, laundry, boat dock, and more. The family that owns the park are so pleasant and has activities planned each month. We were lucky to stay during the holidays and through Easter. Lots of fun for the whole family! The couple that manage the park are always so helpful and available. I would highly recommend this rv resort!

Awesome resort! We have been full timers for 10 years and we recently stayed at Port Cove RV Resort for 2 months. Port Cove is beautifully maintained and has a really nice marina. The campground has a true resort feel with a beautiful heated pool, laundry facility, beautiful restrooms and bath facility (complete with wonderfully scented soap, hand scrub, and lotion) , putt putt golf, pavilions, and a dog park. The staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating! The owners Yoania and John are doing a great job maintaining and running their resort! Kudos!

Best RV park!!! If you are looking for family friendly RV park, clean, safe and with lots do to look no further this is your place! I stayed here with my friends and the kids. This is truly the perfect spot with just a short 20 min drive to the beautiful Silver Glen springs, but we have to say the campground itself is so relaxing and beautiful! Michael is also great and is always there to help! Kids enjoyed the heated pool, the swings, and the fired pit very much, the also offer Airbnb rentals so our friends join us and we had a great time! We enjoyed so much the site that we are thinking of renting it for a month and bring the whole family!Thank you very much to the owner for being so kind and great with us!Nearby activities: 20 min boat ride from Silver Glen Springs, sunset view from the deck, heated swimming pool and family activitiesSafety: Great place!Noteworthy details: Sunset view and kindness of Michael and the owner!

We stayed here for a month and the managers were great! Very accommodating. They even fixed our door handle on our camper for an extremely reasonable fee. Nice area by the water. Large boat dock with chairs at the end for viewing awesome sunsets. Some people even mentioned seeing rocket launches from the dock! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the wifi was spotty at times and the pool needed cleaning one of the times I went to use it but a guy came just a little bit later and took care of that. Also our site was gravel so not level but they gave us some boards to level it out. Gravel a bit hard to walk on too. But I would definitely recommend!

We stayed for the month of January 2024. We had a blast. The staff was great. The pool got a lot of use by most guests. The park was kept up nicely. Every weekend there was a food truck or some kind of food brought in for purchase. This was a great gathering time for guest too. Added a photo of one event. We are full-timers and will be back when in the area.

Port Cover RV Resort is now my families favorite location on the St Johns. They hosted my family in one of their RV rentals over the Thanksgiving Weekend. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The location perfect. My mother could not stop raving about the fact that she opened the front door of her RV and it was looking out over the water and dock's every morning. My sister sat on the dock and watched the sun rise every morning. It was quiet, peaceful and the perfect location to visit with family. The RV was very clean and very modern. A nice seating location to look out over the water and complimentary firewood and propane provided for out door entertainment and grilling. The on-site manager made sure to check in with my family to see if they needed anything and the garbage was picked up daily. My family will be back when the weather warms up and of course have requested that this be their landing spot.Thank you to all the staff for making my family's holiday that much more special.Nearby activities: An hour's drive to the beach. Right on the St. John's river.Safety: Gated community with a gate code.Walkability: The roads are well maintained, a gated community for safety.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant next door with live music playing on the weekends.Noteworthy details: You can fish right off the docks, or you can park any water craft.

We have spent the last month at this resort and we loved it. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. We highly recommend the place to spend time and relax. Very quiet. You can fish right off the wharf. Great boating facility. All the campers we met were wonderful. The pool is great and heated as well. Going to miss this great spot. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

I booked a site for a week at Port Cove Resort after a posting on Facebook. The owner "joanna" I don't have the correct spelling for her name. She reached out to me and helped me reserve my site. She booked me a nice quiet spot. Thank you. We went to the New Years party that was catered by a food truck. Unfortunately, I was coming down with a sinus infection, and the weather turned cold. Heather in the office and her family was very nice and helpful. If you want a nice camping trip, reach out to this resort.Safety: This place is secured with staff to keep you safeWalkability: There is a restaurant close by that does breakfast, lunch dinnerFood & drinks: There are some close restaurants

Our new favorite spot on the St. John's River! Friendly people, beautiful views of the river, clean rest rooms, great facilities. We were there for the fall festival -- so much fun and so well done! We will be back again, but would love to come for more of the special events because the caring owners really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having fun. Thank you Port Cove.

This is a very nice RV park right on the St. John’s River. There are a lot of campsites and they are spacious. The park is clean and well maintained. They have a nice bath house, a coin laundry and an enclosed dog park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Port Cove Resort and Marina! We were in town for a wedding near by and PCR was the perfect location for the duration of our stay. We were within a short walking distance to the restaurant where some of the pre-nuptial activities were held and the boat dock was perfect for our water ride to pick us up and take us other events. The campground was very well maintained, the bathroom/shower house was immaculate, and Heather & Michael were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We even enjoyed nine holes of mini-golf while we had a little extra time waiting to rendezvous with our friends.

If you have a big 44 foot fifth wheel or coachPlease don’t waste your time making reservations here 😡we had made reservations long time ago to spend the winter in Florida and when we got there, the onsite manager told us that there is NO WAY we could fit in any of their lots the person who makes reservations don’t know what kind of lots they have😡 oh by the way the lady at the campground was nice and she is NOT the one that makes reservations. My Husband and I were so mad because every campground was full we are from Texas came here to Florida to stay the hole winter we had to sit for hours so we can call every Rv campground to see if they have openings after couple hoursWe got lucky and found a beautiful place. BUT WHAT IF WE DINT FIND ANYTHING? BECAUSE OF THE LADY THAT MAKES RESERVATIONSSAVE TIME MONEY AND FRUSTRATIONS DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE A BIG RIGWalkability: There is a docks near by

Boat ramp on site usable for trailered cabin cruisers 20-30ft. 10' draft covered and non covered boat slips with ample cleats for full isolation. showers and restroom on site. Pool. Easy access to an adjacent restaurant and bar. Automatic gate that closes at 5pm with keypad entry. 15-20 min boat ride to Silver Glenn Springs. The owners and staff were always around very friendly and welcoming. They go to great lengths to keep the property maintained and it shows. Also there is nice shaded hang out spot, amazing for morning coffee, that also has swings and a grill and an adjacent firepit that is big and surrounded by Adirondacks. Another shaded area with giant connect 4 with some couches that is a great area for night caps and chats.

Brief camping trip to Port Cove. It's a really nice campground on the water. Really enjoyed my morning coffee in you chairs on the water. It's super clean and the staff is wonderful. In fact, I just booked another stay.Nearby activities: The river, need I say more.Food & drinks: The river is the big draw, so water activities. Idle-A-While resort/restaurant is next door for great food, music and drink.

It’s funny that we already knew when we booked, this place was better than others. Just the level of customer service, friendliness, and knowledge we received, over the phone alone, set this place apart from others. We will 100% be back and can’t wait to return! Family friendly RV resort with pool and small play structure, communal lawn games, fire pit, picnic tables and swings down by the water. We pulled our boat and put in on the small ramp they have. A little narrow and steep but we got in and out no problem with our deck boat and watched much larger boats navigate the ramp no problem. There is a first come, first serve boat house that we had no issues finding a spot at. There aren’t any cleats, but tied off to the poles no problem. Our Memorial weekend was complete with the DJ, bounce house, raffle and food sales being done down by the pool. We all had fun and enjoyed ourselves. The owners are friendly and determined to make your stay the best it can be. We were asked daily if we were all set. Micheal is available after hours and even has his phone number posted should you need anything. Between his and the owner’s presence, you were never left guessing. The laundry area has some board games you can borrow and I especially loved the small “take a book, leave a book” library. Our kids quickly found something for themselves for one night and then we returned them for others to enjoy. The restaurant next door, Idle Awhile, is just a short walk away through a wooden gate and also accessible by boat. They had love music each night which you could hear down by the water but wasn’t at all a disturbance at the campsites. We walked over and looked over a menu. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ran out of time but would definitely head over for a meal our next trip. We have heard good things already and we live 45min away.Bathrooms included two shower stalls in both the woman and men’s. We had some issues with the camper shower so for the first time, we had to load up our family and head down for showers. It was what you expect for a community shower but it was definitely clean and had hot water so nothing to complain about.I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Oh and there are Airbnb campers available! Perfect if you have family or friends that want to join you without a camper of their own.

Port Cove Resort…we had an amazing time. The owners are extremely attentive to the needs of the community and property. I was impressed by the fact that they have a code access security gate to enter the property. It’s very family oriented and the facilities are spotless. Our family had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Make sure to check out the sunsets and the Springs which are a quick boat ride away.

It's absolutely my favorite RV resort. This was our first visit. Karen and Michael are fabulous hosts and were available anytime we would need them. It is the cleanest and quiet place with beautiful river views. So relaxing and enjoyable. Idle Awhile is next door just a few steps away, so if you want a nice breakfast overlooking the water, it is a plus. We will be back soon. Thank you, Karen and Michael, we enjoyed meeting you. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend.

Exceeded our expectations in every way! This was our first trip in a camper and we hope it was the first of many to this amazing Rv resort. The owners of the property and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and could not have been more helpful. So many little extras around the property like: swimming pool, waterfront swings, fire pit, boat house, 2 docks, beautiful landscaping…and the list goes on. In addition one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen. If you’re looking for a special place to relax and recharge, this is it. Family friendly, pet friendly, boat friendly and relaxation friendly. Loved it!

Absolutely hands down the best RV park we have ever been to! From the waterfront location to the amenities (pool, swings, biking, boating, kayaking, guest events, bonfires, etc) to the over the top customer service oriented owners, you couldn’t pick a better place to vacation as a family or a couples getaway. The views are breathtaking and the convenience of local amenities and even proximity to the neighboring restaurant make this a knockout choice. Whether you’re an RV novice or pro, the choice is simple. THIS is the place to stay. They have convenient hookups and direct connects along with a dump station and each site is set up immaculately. There’s even options in case you don’t want to bring your own RV! We will definitely be back!!!!

We stayed a month in Georgetown, Fl, at an RV Resort on the St.John's River. Here is what you can expect at this park at this time - February 2023:The positive - on St. John's River, beautiful sunsets, firepit and chairs by the water, covered boat slips (extra charge), small outdoor pavilion down by the water, fishing from the dock, and a restaurant and bar next door. The negative - short, deep gravel sites that are not angled (very hard to back into or level rig), pool (not heated), dated bathrooms, so called on-site coin laundry (one washer and two dryers for 75 sites), no clubhouse, few outdoor planned activities that were not well advertised, and extremely high cost. The owners have big plans to turn this property into a nice resort. Until then, the cost to stay should reflect that. When looking at Google Maps you can see Google has not updated since ownership changed. Therefore, unable to see the resort updates the owner had talked about when booking. When we arrived and found it was barely a campground, and the large amount we had paid, we were not very happy. I did talk to the owner on the price, and she did refund us $100, which brings us somewhat closer to online prices after all the taxes! The cost is still too high for the amenities of this park. This is our opinion.Do your research!

This is a beautiful place on the wonderful St. John River. We were looking for a place for a month, ended up staying for 3.5 months. The owners and staff are the best. You would think the staff owned it. They take such pride in their keeping it up. Port Cove is just starting up. In a year you won't even recognize it. Just in 3.5 months it has changed a lot. Met wonderful campers here too.

Relocated to Florida temporarily and chose Port Cove RV Resort and Marina. We stayed for 9 months, John, Joana, and the staff were phenomenal!!!They certainly have found the perfect spot along the St. Johns River and wish them many years of luck with this place. Plenty of local restaurants, stores, and nearby Crescent City which made it a perfect location for our stay. Compared to a lot of the overrated rv places in the vicinity, we found this one to be the quietest and the best!! We will be back!!

The weekly staff were super helpful with parking the RV and helped with any needs. Weekend staff ?Gravel pads were soft and heavier vehicles can sink in them. Nice dog park for exercising off leash. Harder to park longer vehicles in 90’ turn ins.Need long sewer hoses for hookups due to receptacle being at the back of site. Good stay for 3 months, easy to travel from park to all of Florida day or multi week trips.

Spent the weekend at Port Cove RV. It was very clean, peaceful, pet friendly, and family oriented. Everyone was very friendly. The staff and owners bend over backward to make sure our stay was great. This will most definitely be a go-to place for us with the RV and boat. The resort is just minutes from the springs by boat.

We are completing our vacation, a majority of which was spent at beautiful Port Cove RV resort and it is an incredible place. Traveling with some family and friends we created some of the most memorable experiences we ever had.Situated on the water’s edge with docks, slips, a boat launch and located on impeccable grounds we know we found a gem. The owners not only met but exceeded every expectation, satisfying the most discerning customers. This place is in an area of Florida which by all accounts is experiencing economic growth yet are preserving the local charm and culture of the best Florida has to offer! When you go make sure to rent a boat and see the most magnificent fresh water springs imaginable. I will be returning, not only for the RV resort but because John and Yoania, the owners, have become our new best friends! Amazing people and an amazing place. What are you waiting for…. When you arrive tell them hello from Greg and Maria !!
