High praise for the folks in the meat and deli section at this Sam's Club!Kay and Michelle responded to my look of panic when I couldn't find an item I needed that they usually have. That product is in high demand, they said, and it had not yet been made this morning. But they cheerfully offered to make it for me so that I could be on my way.I was not expecting this kind of customer service, as customer service has become a really lost art in this country. But there is something excellent happening at this Sam's Club.I had also noticed other employees walking around with a cheerful attitude and greeting customers. What a bright spot in my day! When things seem going in a very wrong direction in our country, this made me smile and was worth sharing! Nice job, Sam's Club crew!

Definitely like having the new T mobile in Sam’s club. They don’t bother you like AT&T did every time you walk in. Ended up switching from Verizon to t mobile and have been very happy with coverage and service. It’s actually been way better than Verizon. At least for this area. SUNNY was the sales rep that made the process smooth and have had zero problems. He even reached out the next day to make sure everything was good. Great customer service

I’ve been to many Sam’s Clubs and have never dealt with service this slow or poor. Not sure if they’re understaffed or just don’t care, but it’s a problem either way. I ordered a pick up order that was supposed to be ready the same day— wasn’t ready until the following day. Picking up the order was another fiasco, having to wait 30+ minutes at 1:30 pm on a weekday. Management needs to do better, because this level of service is unacceptable.

Scan ant go was easy got what I needed free parking and exactly got in and out fast. Wasn’t super full only when entering the building of course lol. Was very good experience here . Employees were very helpful and friendly.

I have been a Sam's member for about 5 years now and have pretty much always had a good experience. I drive a diesel, and they have diesel here , so I always try to time my diesel fuel ups and Sam's runs together. The store is usually clean and the staff are leagues above Walmart employees. I love buying in bulk but I do wish they had more variety. The Cafe is a nice perk, the food is usually hot and tasty. Pickup and delivery are both very good unlike Walmart where you wait 40+ minutes on your order.

We got our tires replaced here and got such a great deal. It took about two hours, but we wandered around and shopped, tried out the comfy couches, and they even have a place to buy prepared food to eat while you wait!

I purchased a battery for my pickup today at the Sam’s club in Gainesville Florida. North Butler location. The young man at the counter said it would take 15 to 20 minutes to install. I brought my truck around and the same young man started to remove the old battery. I had to remind him several times about which direction you turn bolts and nuts to loosen them. After a while he removed the old battery and started the new install. I pointed out that the die-electric compound was in a bag on the back of the battery, which it still is because he ignored my comment. I was then asked to walk away from my truck as I was not supposed to be there, I did as I was asked. When I walked away the installer broke the bolt off that tightens the battery cable to the battery post. The department manager, came and informed me that I would have to go and get the new part from a local parts store and bring it back so they could repair their damage. I protested and asked why he couldn’t send one of his men to get the part. The manager became agitated and at one point asked if I knew how to use a phone so I could look up the part. I told him that he as now being disrespectful and belligerent and I was through dealing with him I wanted a store manager. After about 45 minutes a lady came to see me and explained that there was nothing she could as they could not send someone to get the part so she was no help. I have never seen this lack of concern for a customer whose vehicle they had just rendered inoperable. I did have to go get the part, they did pay for the part but nothing for the 2&1/2 hours I lost dealing with their issue. Why was an untrained person working on my truck without a trainer? Terrible management, that’s why.No one cared! Terrible management and customer care.

I did a pick-up. I have done that in the past, but it was disappointing due to the extensive wait time.This morning, I checked in and my order was brought out within 10 minutes. The guy loading, Shaiir (?) was pleasant, polite, engaging and helpful.

big store. Pretty well stocked. I don't recommend buying ladies clothing, esp. lingerie or sweat. Cheap brands that don't hold up well to wash/dry. Otherwise, fairly good shopping.

Great store. Stock neatly placed and not showing crushed boxes etc like some warehouse stores. Like the selection. Staff friendly and helpful and clean bathroom

Used to shop Sams club way back when it was on 13th street. We decided to get membership and shop here again. Bought a few groceries, checked out through cashier and got stopped at the door to have receipt scanned and everything in my cart. That is not ok. You're accusing every single shopper of shoplifting when you do that. And accusing your cashiers of not doing their job. Not worth the membership. Not coming back.

Great prices and helpful staff. Some policies don't make much sense though. For instance, I asked a person working in the electronics sections a question about the availability of a television. I was told to go to member services and ask them. I had to wait in a lengthy line and the member services representative appeared shocked when it was finally my turn but helped me. In the end, after quite some time, I got my television. The multiple ladies who helped me were all extremely friendly!!

This store shows how not to handle a pandemic wow. mediocre customer service is still there. Things are easier to find but that's about it. Customer service is not good and calling on to speak with someone on the phone... Just forget it. It's like the store never opens when you call on the phone. At least parking is good and member gas prices are usually lowest in the area. But just remember that unless you pay for plus membership there is now a $4 curbside pickup fee.

Went there with a friend, who was going for the first time in this location. Anything I was interested in had no price marked, employees too hard to find to find out. Did get a price on a (small) watermelon, $7.99 ?! I finally left the store and waited for my friend, she said a lot of things were not marked. None of the food sample places had samples at 12:30 except for the orange juice. Long lines, empty registers. Don't plan on wasting my time or money going back here.

The service at the food counter is deplorable. There's no reason it should take over 10 minutes per person. I understand if there was a big order but these were individual people buying individual items. Things might have moved a little faster if the cashier would put away her phone take out her earbud and focus on, what she's being paid to, customer service.

I love going to Sam's Club in Gainesville Florida they have such a wide variety of products including food they are always faster friendly they are always well stocked and well organized and the people there are so friendly and always ready to help

Went here 3 times for the same transaction. Dealt with one very rude employee in the pick up area. I purchased a cooler on-line. Picked it up and when I got home noticed the handle was broken. Went back to return it and was told I cannot exchange and I can only get a paper gift card. Since I still just wanted the cooler I purchased the same one online again since I noticed they didn’t have it in the store that day. Threw away the paper gift card and when I was headed to go pick it up the next day noticed the order had been canceled. So I had to go back again after calling customer service both corporate and at this location. Both places telling me I had to go back to the club. So I went back and waited in line and then was told that I was suppose to get an emailed version of my gift receipt as well and was never given that. After going back and forth they gave me cash but then couldn’t give me the total amount so put some of the amount on a gift card. So I’ve been back 3 times and have been compensated 0 for all my efforts and not even given a total refund. Even after being told the other employees should of handled everything differently. This is not how you do business.

Needing to get a receipt reprinted and having to wait in a line 10+ people long because member services is the only place to get it and they only have one person staffed. Sams club needs to do better and thank you to the member services employee who helped.

I have been a Sam's Club member for almost 40 years and usually have my tires replaced there. Not anymore. I went on Sunday July 2 to have a tire replaced. The size needed was out of stock so they ordered one for my car. I was notified on Monday the tire was in. I called to schedule an appointment but each time I was transferred from central tires to the local store the phone rang and rang and then disconnected. After 45 minutes of this I find out I can just walk in as long as I am there by 6:00 pm I got off work early on Tuesday and when I arrived (before 6 pm I waited at the counter over 15 minutes for someone to even wait on me. Then I am told they don't have time to do the tire. I must make an appointment. There was only one car there! When I insisted since I have driven over an hour to get there they said they had too many appointments. The tire service man assisting me said he couldn't to it because he was getting off in 15 minutes. I requested a manager who agreed he could not because he came in at 8:00 am ??? Sam's paid this employee to do nothing for 15 minutes Doesn't take much longer than that to change a tire. Then I'm told there can't be just one worker in the service center so what about all those appointments? When he left there would just be one man there. I refuse to spend money where it doesn't matter because they don't have to care. They make plenty of money. Never going back. I purchased a tire somewhere else.

I have ordered items for pickup twice from this club. Both times the orders have not been ready when expected. Not even a courtesy emailed sent to let me know my pickup was delayed. My most recent order was placed at 5am. I was told that orders are started at 7 and at 515pm, my order was still not ready. I was told by the associate that it would be another hour. I have ordered from a few other sams club in Fla and Ga and have never had an issue. Gainesville Sams need more employees so that they can get it together!!

Pretty decent sams club but it's got a lot of customers since it's one of the only sams clubs in a busy college town. Most products are there and in bulk. The only item I haven't been able to find there is root beer. They have 50-60 soda options but no root beer which is odd.
