This store has always treated me well, and even been a true blessing quite recently for this coming Christmas. The employees are helpful, even though I've seen some bad ones, but overall they do a good job and keep a clean store for all of us to shop in and save money on the things we need or want. The store has some good cheap products when you don’t want to go to a big box store, but the rude employees make you want to leave the store without purchasing anything. If they want to keep that store open it will be nice if the management give some customer service training to those employees in this location, specially the cashiers.

My wife went to buy some stuff today and the cashier was very rude to her and treated her in a very bad and racist way. She is a very talkative lady. She is a black woman around 45 years old has a short wig. She can keep you on a line for long because she doesn’t stop chatting. If you see her, leave the store better. Her name starts with J.Today, the same lady came to my store in front of my customers accused me of buying something yesterday from Roses and used fake $100 I told her it was not me but she insisted so I told her to ge the camera shot and I telephoned the store asking for the camera shot then I went the store by myself to ask for the camera shot, but he told me the manager will be here you can come tomorrow.That is so bad.This lady is not supposed to be a customer service.This store loses customers because of her.I will go tomorrow to see what is going on.

I shop at many different “discount” stores in the Gainesville area. However, this store gets a 5 plus from me for: the friendliness of the employees from the moment I walk into the store, the helpfulness of employees, the cleanliness, the way products are easily displayed and “prices marked”, overall, the consistency of all I’ve mentioned!Thanks to all who work there from Beth, Asst Manager, to all the employees who make my shopping experience a pleasant one!!If you’ve never been to Roses Express, you’re missing out!!

06/22/2021 at 18:20Manager was very rude and unprofessional.I ask for the price of 2 luggages, it took several minutes to check for the price and I didn’t mind at all.When she came back and tell me the price me and my husband was trying to decide which one we want. it took us like one minute suddenly she was so mad and start talking To us with an attitude saying : are you going to decide or not because I don’t have time for this BS. You guys are wasting my time. And yes I told her is your job to take care of customer as a manager and she said: not that’s not my job. She was talking all other unprofessional words that I don’t want to post in here. I definitely will put a complain at bbb better business bureau.

I bought 3 pillowcase sets for 1.00 each, a kitchen Cafe style kitchen curtain set for 3.99 and a aqua laundry basket for 3.99. A very nice church dress for 14.99.I remember Roses from a long time ago in NC. Nice to see it here. Nice and courteous staff too.

Advertised products are not in stock. In store is a gazebo display with display price, however when I asked to actually purchase it. Manager told me I have to wait 1-2 hours before he could locate it. He then proceeds to tell me NO he's sorry the store does not carry the gazebo I see in store on display. I asked why is it on display if you do not sell it instore at all. He informs me the Jacksonville and Ocala store has it and to go there to purchase item. Thank you but I have never experienced such poor customer service or lack of enthusiasm to make a sell. Great Job Roses Express I will not be back.

I'm in Gainesville FL the linesare long with only one cashier with four Lanes that can be in use the store manager name is Dallas she is rude and non caring I have seen her with her employees and it's not fairit's always a new employee when we go inside that store and I'm guessing because of the way she treats them I wouldn't stay either it's hot and dirty I won't even bother to ask for a manager anymore because that manager Dallas always ways comes with a attitude she looks dirty all the time like I can't believe she works there looking and acting like that she made a employee cry one day I seen it and called corporate nothing was done I've seen employees quick all because how they have been treated by that manager is very unfortunate how they are treated even the customers get treated bad I'm done with that store

No one in the stores knows what customer service is you always have to stand in a really long line only one cashier do you ask someone to help out and open another register they say that's not my job probably won't ever shop here again

my first time at Rose"s. they have LOTS of stuff. clothes (men, women, kids), candles, outdoor stuff, kitchen, bathroom, linens, lamps, pillows, toys, elec/cell accessories, etcetc. low prices! big pkg lot.

Visited for the first time and the place did not meet my expectations. The bathroom STUNK and it was absolutely disgusting and about 5 of the employees looked at me but never offered a greeting or any help.Will not be visiting again.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Some of the management and staff are rude and very unprofessional. I will not be shopping at this location. Matter of fact...the one in Ocala is bigger and cleaner and the staff is friendly.
