OMG. this store looks like it just opened. It is super clean and very big and airy. Did I say it was huge. I could not get over the extreme cleanliness and shiny floors. They have everything. A big HBA department. I had to ask where the bread was. I'm shopping here from now on. I live across town, but I will make that drive...yes I'm crazy for this Publix location.

Simply asked for the right amount of cheese for my subs employee took a fit and left (pink hair girl with half the hair sticking out her hairnet) Ken to take over who growled literally like a dog at me when I told him that he was putting the topping on the wrong sub. I've never dealt with such horrible staff. Next time I will wait for Andre or any other deli worker besides those two. If you can't treat customers right get a job without customers.

Yes most Publix are pretty nice and clean. This place is phenomenal. It's beautiful It looks brand new inside and open aisles. Produce is usually nice and fresh bright and green. We don't live close to this Publix but we come here when we come to Gainesville and is an amazing place. Some people complain about the prices at Publix but to me the quality is worth the price!!! I would highly recommend this location to anybody and everybody. The staff are nice and friendly as well.

This is by far the best Publix I've ever been to! Everything is so fresh and clean and everyone's so polite and friendly! You can even ask for extra Wasabi because there's actually somebody working in the seafood sushi spot! Highly recommend stopping in and shopping THIS location next to Target!

Absolutely love and so appreciate this Publix! It's a regular stop when I'm traveling i75 because it's clean, employees are nice and the store is well stocked with lots of things I need. I have such special memories here of my child getting a balloon here and running around to get some wiggles out from being stuck in the car. Love that I can come here, use the restroom that's CLEAN (so thankful for that!) and grab subs from the deli to eat there or on the road. Thank you Publix for setting the standard for grocery stores. You are so appreciated, you've earned our business.

Has everything we need. One of the biggest Publix in town and it is open till 11pm most nights. The staff is always friendly and asking if we need help. Great place to shop, the layout helps make it easy to find what you are looking for. We love shopping and getting dinner at the same time. We love their Pub Subs. One of the employees named Robert who is always making subs does an excellent job. Sometimes it is a little difficult to understand him but he goes above and beyond the call to make sure you get the best sub.

Tell you what. Publix deli staff work hard. In this case, this Publix had a number of different wings. Had not seen that before. The lady behind the counter was courteous and accommodating. And the meal was tasty. Thought it was time to give a shoutout to a Publix crew.

Stopped by with my dad to grab some lunch at the deli, Tammy made our subs and she was AMAZING she made the subs perfect and was crazy fast at preparing them. The deli was very clean and well organized. Thanks Tammy for the best service ive had at any Publix to date.

I love this publix not only cause I work there but cause it's big and has a great selection. When the last hurricane hit i saw we had battery back up light bulbs but sold out before I could get one but it was fine. Also my CO workers are very friendly and helpful and the customers are always a pleasure to talk to. And we always have what I'm looking for weather it's a light bulb or some apples we have so much. The only thing I wish it had was the upstairs dining area

This is the largest Publix in Gainesville, meaning it has more selections available. The ingress/egress can be a bear as Archer road traffic is atrocious and the traffic pattern isn't friendly.

This store was great. Needed help from 2 different employees and they were both very nice and friendly. This store was clean, organized and very large. I'm glad that I chose this Publix to go shopping at while I'm visiting Gainesville.

Great beautiful store, so clean... The manager was very nice, as he walked by saying good are you! Didn't run me out at 7:00 pm tonight. Last minute item for dinner. Store employee very nice, took my buddy back to the rack in the store as I forgot to get items out before leaving the door. I think this might a nice store to shop instead of across the street from me. I haven't had the service or anyone being nice for the 5 years I've been shopping at the Publix across from me. This one is doing a great job!

During our recent visit to Publix to carry out a Western Union transaction, I had an experience that I'd like to share. Upon entering, I encountered Tayler, one of the employees responsible for assisting with Western Union transactions. However, I must say that the initial interaction with Tayler was quite unpleasant. When I asked a question about the received amounts, their response was dismissive, and their attitude made me feel uncomfortable. Furthermore, their gaze and demeanor appeared unfriendly.Fortunately, the situation improved when another colleague of Tayler's stepped in and provided us with much more courteous and professional assistance. This individual gave us the information we needed and helped us resolve all aspects of the transaction efficiently.In summary, my experience at Publix for a Western Union transaction was mixed due to Tayler's initial attitude. However, thanks to the intervention of their colleague, the situation was resolved satisfactorily. I hope this feedback proves useful in improving the quality of customer service in the future.

This Publix is the worst. It’s 10:40am on Saturday in Gainesville where there’s a home football game later today and they have no chicken wings in the deli and they said they aren’t making anymore anytime soon. It’s a college town people are on their way to tailgates and want to pick up food on the way.. why aren’t they prepared for that? Also their deli is horrible at making subs. If you order ahead don’t ever expect it to be ready at the pick up time they give you.. they take about 15 minutes to make one sub so prepare to stand there forever

I ordered 2 live lobsters on 06/07/23 for my birthday from store #1312. I was to pick them up today, 06/14/23. Yesterday someone left 2 messages on my phone when I was at work to say that I need to order live lobsters 2 days in advance. Called the seafood department this morning and they said that they have no order for live lobster delivery for today. I offered to send the email confirmation to him because I was still looking right at it. He apologized but said they was no live lobsters being delivered today. Spoke to the store manager to ask about it, he said that there was and an accident just as he was coming in and the delivery truck will not make it. He was sorry. Today is my 1 day day off and I was really looking forward to this, now I will have to try to find it someplace else. This is so ridiculous. Please do better.

I have been going to Publix for 25 years in Port Orange Fl. and always had a great experience. I am in Gainesville now and my experience at the pharmacy was phenomenal.Lucas is a natural at customer service and his overall knowledge was quite impressive. I want upper management to understand what a true asset Lucas is and store general manager to share this review with him.(I was the guy with the eye drop prescription)

A middle aged woman who works here got off her shift and left her shopping cart between cars. It started rolling and came inches from hitting our vehicle at enough speed to damage it. Luckily she barely caught it but I told her to put her cart away next time instead of being lazy. As I was walking into the store she started screaming profanities at me. Very unpleasant Publix.That's on top of them never having any of the fairly basic food products we're looking for. You might as well head to aldi's and Walmart to get what you're looking for, spend less money and not have employees screaming profanities at you from the safety of their oversized vehicles over simply telling them to put it away next time.I reported it but never heard anything back. I have no clue if she still works at this location or if she was fired because I've not gone back since but I'd highly suggest staying away from this location.

It's the hottest new Publix in the county and it's worth the visit. It doesn't matter where I'm at in town, because I'm always a full time student (GNV 4 lyfe lol) and I'll be here the next 10 years. Inside jokes aside they have a nice upstairs dining area and tons of food options so someone with an extremely limited diet can still study and finish my Projects.
