It has been such a journey trying to find a vet we feel takes care and comfort in our anxious dog, and we’ve only been once but we absolutely loved the work done by Dana and Dr. Sorensen at the Newberry on Main Street! They took so much time and care to let my dog feel comfortable, they actually looked at her and treated her with kindness, and they gave her so much love she wanted to follow them at the end of our exam. Pricing was pretty on par with other vet offices, but the care was amazing! After having some bad experiences and being treated like garbage at Shores Animal Hospital, this was an amazing and locally owned breath of fresh air!! Waiting room was clean and cool, and all the staff were super helpful. They’ve also been great at communicating and checking back in after our visit. Would absolutely recommend.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Newberry Animal Hospital for years, and every single receptionist, vet tech, and veterinarian we’ve met here has been so kind to me and my pet. They always explain my options and help me make the best decisions I can for my dog. They try to put their patients at ease; you can tell they all genuinely love animals. They are friendly, patient, and competent. I really cannot recommend them enough.

This staff is really dope. They are super accommodating. I have the craziest stuff happen to me like not having a phone and they emailed me, contacted my roommate when moose had surgery and gave everyone the run down. I felt like the pricing of it all made sense and wasn’t overpriced, it’s Florida. Love how all the vets are women. Moose came out of surgery like it never happened. Highly recommend.

I would like to start by saying THANK YOU! Thank you to these wonderful people for saving our cat's life! These are not big words. The life was saved. Thank you to the first vet technician, who recognized the severity of the situation and alerted the doctor, thank you to the wonderful doctor who performed an emergency surgery, and thank you to everyone at this clinic. I will eventually update the post with names as I did not ask these earlier, my apologies. These heroes rushed to help us, stayed after hours to save our family member. There is no way we can ever repay this kindness, this care, but we will be forever grateful. The level of kindness and attentiveness in this office is unmatched. It is hard to express gratitude in words, but just know that you gave us a priceless gift. I highly recommend this office and this business. You, guys, are heroes in our book.

The area was very clean and staff was extremely friendly. They were personally attentive and cared for my pet. They broke down cost, provided many treatment options, and answered all my questions. They also provided water to both me and my pet. I would 100% go again because I feel very safe with my pet in their care.

Me and my dog love Newberry animal hospital!! They quite literally saved my dog’s life, when he took a quick and unexpected health turn and had HGE. They gave him so much love and care for days and he had a speedy recovery. They always offer fair pricing and meet the pet owners where they’re at and explain everything in a way everyone can understand. I recently moved to Gainesville and my cousin recommended Newberry Animal Hospital. I was able to create profiles online for my animals and thankfully I did because we two had issues shortly after moving here. We had an excellent experience - I was able to get an appointment quickly and the staff were very helpful and caring. They provided an estimate before doing any procedures and gave me options. I went to the Main Street location.

I cannot explain just how wonderful all of the staff here have been. My dog has primarily seen Dr. Phillips & Dr. Spinosa both of whom are extremely knowledgable & compassionate. My nearly 12yr old dog was recently diagnosed with cancer & this office has helped both of us during one of our most difficult times.I cannot recommend them enough.10/10, tell your friends

Dr Shah seemed very affectionate to my 12 week old Doberman puppy. She took her time and checked him over from head to toe. I felt much better knowing he was a healthy boy. My experience from the moment I walked into the office, was welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend Newberry Animal Hospital.

Reception was awesome and the vet was really nice. Hercules has anxiety about going to the vet, they treated him with kindness and patience. He was so much better there than at UF!!

The Main St. Location in Gainesville is a very professionally run animal hospital. The vets and techs are a joy to work with, they know their stuff and if they don't they will figure it out and consult right away. From first contact when you call, Megan answers the phone with a joy in her voice that is second to none. She is such a pleasure to talk too, even at 0730 on a Monday morning. There system of no contact pickup and delivery of your furry friends is second to none. There is no delay and they make sure you understand all the necessary information to care for your pet. The spa services make sure your pup comes home looking marvelous and smelling wonderful..... They really care and it shows, I recommend this vet clinic 100% Coco approved.

Thank you for taking such amazing care of me and my pet Suki! I wanted to make it aware of how wonderful all the staff are. I showed up to the wrong location for my appointment yet the main St location was very patient and accommodating with us!I was greeted and welcomed in so warmly it made my day!Also the Dr and techs that handled my pet Suki were all so gentle and patient, even Suki felt at ease in the office! She was snoozing quietly while waiting to be checked out! I am so grateful as well that they were able to answer all my questions and they were super kind and knowledgeable!10/10 I recommend this place. I am glad I read the reviews and decided to come here!

Newberry Animal Hospital has provided excellent care for our dog, Luna. We are always greeted with warm smiles and short wait times upon arrival.Dr. White is very knowledgeable, and she’s been great at explaining treatment options for the handful of ailments that Luna has experienced over the past year and a half.Historically, Luna has always been very fearful of the vet’s office. However, thanks to the patient and thoughtful approach of several vet techs and doctors, she doesn’t even seem to mind it anymore. Thanks so much for taking care of our fur baby!I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a veterinarian.

I am a new pet owner who recently moved to the area and wanted to get my kitty established at a vet. I chose NAH because of the high reviews here on Google, and they were totally accurate.When I called to set up the appointment, the receptionists were so helpful in quoting the costs of an exam, and even potential medications that we might need.We arrived and checked in quickly, and were taken to an exam room within minutes. The office was incredibly clean throughout, and the staff were welcoming and helpful.Dr. Stanley was great with my scaredy cat, and really took the time to explain everything he was doing.Overall was a lovely experience. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this office to fellow pet owners.

They literally saved my dog's life. I was so thankful that they didn't overcharge me or take advantage like most vets do when an emergency happens. My dog had to come everyday for several weeks and they ALWAYS treated her so well and were beyond kind. I honestly wish there were more stars to give. My heart is so full!!!! I have a healthy girl all because of their efforts and knowledge on what needed to be done to get her back to normal. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart ya'll!!!

The staff and doctors here are very caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I lost my first kitten, Hennessy, to Feline Leukemia after having him for only a few weeks and the whole crew at the hospital were so nice to ask how I am doing even after the passing and even wrote me a touching card for condolences. I also had my other cat that I got weeks later, Tigger, cared at this hospital and they gave me so much confidence of being a responsible cat owner. Hardly did I have to run to the emergency because they were always accessible by phone or email and their health reminder service helped me keep my pet current on vaccinations, exams, etc. Thank you so much for your excellent service!

this place is excellent. The staff is very caring, you could tell they love the animals. We have boarded our dog here several times as well. He came home with one scrape on his paw once but they were super responsive and saw him back right away to care for him. Our dog has gone through surgery here as well, and all went well. There have been some issues with scheduling at multiple locations, my only recommendation is to confirm your location prior to your appointment.

The staff was extra helpful checking our collie in. Hannah was the assistant and was friendly and patient. I didn’t wait long for Dr Fletcher and I was offered water before she came in. I started going to the Newberry Animal Hosptial a few years ago and they have always been very kind, patient, and caring to my family. My cat passed away recently due to kidney failure. The Newberry Animal Hospital were very kind to her, despite her dislike and fear of being outside of the house and being handled by strangers. When I told them she had died they said I could bring her in to make sure. They took a molding of her pawprint and they even sent me a beautiful card. I really appreciate the care they took of both of us. Thank you.
