I think a lot of people are understandably put off by some of the negative reviews here - I had my own doubts even after I decided to purchase. However, while things may have taken a bit longer than planned, it was absolutely worth it. Nowhere else are you able to get a custom cat tree that perfectly fits your style. Not to mention, you are buying something hand-made and supporting a small business (my personal ideals). I originally purchased with Molly and Friends because our blind kitty needed a tree design that would help him get up and down easily, and the Chimney Sweep is the best option we were able to find anywhere. We were able to get some limited, leftover white carpet (so crisp looking!) and opted for all the poles to be sisal-wrapped (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OPTION!!!). He LOVES climbing up and down the poles and it's so fun to watch. We also have a Simple Sleeper in another room, so it's the perfect matching set.As for customer service, I personally had a great experience. Remember to be kind to each other, we're all doing the best we can. I could tell Tom was stressed about the business and completing orders on time, but he worked hard to get us what we wanted and get it to us as quick as was possible for them. Asking for a refund is an inconvenience and waste of time for everyone; just be patient because it's a great cat tree!!Worth every single penny - I'm done getting terrible "furniture" from big name pet stores. We will have this cat tree for the next decade at least!

The quality is absolutely amazing! Tom was able to add customizations to the cat tree and it was a game changer. He was able to add height and made it 6.5ft tall as well as add the house to it. Our cats adore it and we love it as well. We even had the ability to go to the business ourselves (due to us living a driving distance from it) and you can see the quality in the work they do. It is a very small business with a small number of employees so please be aware that it is not Amazon delivery times. You can trust Tom 100% and know that you are getting what you paid for. I do recommend making sure you follow up with Tom as he does get busy, but he always gets back to you. We will be ordering again!

I purchased the Simple Sleeper from Molly & Friends over 10 years ago. My cats over the years have used it daily and treated it well; it was finally time for a new one. I searched online and couldn't find this brand so went with a different big name brand initially - and immediately had to return due to lack of quality/stability. Nothing beats Molly & Friends. Thankfully, when I looked up this company, I was shocked and surprised to learn that they are local to my area in Florida and I went in person to their workshop to purchase a new Simple Sleeper. Tom was super friendly, accommodating & helpful!! My kitties got just what they wanted! Please trust this company folks - they are a small, local workshop (not a big business or corporation); I stood in their workshop and they are recovering from post-pandemic slowdowns and building back up again. The quality cannot be beat!! Strong, stable, real wood, non-toxic materials, no plastic, and the carpet is top quality and no fraying. I am a customer for life.

We custom-ordered a 3-tier cat tree, the Tunnel of Fun, and also a 2-tier cat tree, the Loft and Round, with additional sisal wrapping because we have 5 cats and they love scratching and climbing.Tom with Molly and Friends was super-nice, and offered us an alternative carpet choice for the 2-tier cat tree when there was a delay with the original color we had chosen and made sure that we approved of the new color. And the finished results were exactly what we wanted-locally-made, sturdy, hand-crafted, and beautiful cat furniture.Oh, and all 5 cats love them! Especially, the tunnel with the entry hole on each tower!

I recently bought a beautiful blue and tan cat tree from Molly & Friends for my two kittens Noelle and Stubbs. I am beyond impressed with the quality and durability! The kittens started playing on it immediately and now it’s their favorite! Honestly, I have tried other brands of cat furniture but nothing really compares. Tim is helping us to make the perfect cat furniture pieces to match for the future. He has been extremely helpful and we look forward to working with him more! Thanks Tim!

I placed an order 2 months ago for 2 pieces of cat furniture. Tom claimed they couldn't take credit cards, so I mailed him a check. The check was cashed..and then nothing but silence. I have called, written emails, tried every which way to contact them, but to no avail. Nobody answers the phone and nobody responds at all. At this point, I believe that I am out of luck and out of $283.00. Don't do business with or buy from this company! Stay away!Update: it only gets worse. I reported Tom and Molly and Friends to the BBB. The BBB reached out for me to Tom. I then heard from him and he continued to lie to me. He once again promised to send my product within 2 weeks and made every excuse in the world as to why he hadn't. That was on March 08. Nothing since.So, this nightmare with them started in early January and today is April 09.. never ending. I just wanted to update and make sure people are aware of the scam they are running. Stay away from them, and knowing what you now know, don't buy their product in stores if you see it. Remember that Tom of Molly and Friends is a thief and a scammer.

This is extremely high quality cat furniture--we had our original Molly and Friends Cat tree for TEN YEARS with our first two large Siberian cats and then had to take a hacksaw to break it apart--literally. (We needed to move to the Cat Cradle & Condo smaller version for our new cat).I think it's worth noting that all handmade furniture takes time to make--think of it like ordering custom furniture on Etsy vs. ordering a pre-made flimsy cat tree on Amazon or Chewy. So be prepared to wait but the quality is well worth it in the end. Especially if you have multiple cats or large cats (our largest was over 20 lbs), you need a sturdy cat tree like this that will not shake when they jump on it. Your cats will thank you and your wallet will thank you for not having to shell out more money for destroyed cat trees every year!

This is a small business locally owned. Their product is sturdy and well made. The base for the trees and posts are heavy and solid. Over the years we have purchased cat trees and scratching posts from Molly and friends and have no complaints, only praises.

Buyer Beware: The owner of this company will require advance payment and DOES NOT deliver the product. It's been over a year. I (stupidly) sent $1750 for 2 cat trees, promised to be delivered within 2 months. Check with the BBB of Alachua Co FL to see numerous similar complaints and cumulatively thousands of dollars the owner has kept by duping trusting customers, such as myself. In subsequent conversations, the owner has consistently lied to me, giving me the same excuses and reassurances- like a broken record. His business MO apparently is to scam individuals who pay in advance, in order to buy materials to fill 'larger orders' from buyers not required to pay in advance. He never catches up to filling orders, placed months or years previously for those who have already paid. I am planning to take Molly and Friends to small claims court. I encourage others to do the same.

I’ve been buying different cat tree brands for years and they never seem to last over a year but with Molly And Friends Cat Furniture they’re built Bigger, Better, and Stronger! which is exactly what I need for my furrr babies. It just looks so nice in my house and I can’t wait to get my second one today! I got one called “toms tower” and today I’m getting a the “jungle gym” super excited!! I definitely recommend this company they’re very nice and they don’t disappoint!

I ordered a tower 1.5 years ago and I never received but they took my money. I emailed and called multiple times and was told they were sending it and I never got it and finally they basically just stopped responding and I was out almost $500.

My new Molly and Friends cat tree arrived yesterday! It was not a seamless transaction--the order was very delayed and communication inconsistent. Owner has recently been much more responsive and I (and my cats) are pleased to have our new Tom's Tower in our home. We have ordered from Molly and Friends before, and that original cat tree is over 10 years old and still going strong, so I am confident in the quality of their product.

Ordered a cat tree with Tim on 7/16/22 and paid 569.00. I was told it would be 8-10 weeks but closer to 8 weeks. Initially Tim was pleasant to talk to when he was taking my money, but that all changed. I contacted Molly and friends the second week of September to see what the status was. Tim told me it was due to ship on 9/22. I received no email on 9/22 indicating it shipped so I called Molly and Friends to see what the issue was. Again I spoke with Tim. He gave me the run a round and told me it would be 2 more weeks and that there was a problem with production. I asked him to just refund my money. At that point he became very incorrigible. He was argumentative and talking over me. I asked him to do a simple menial task and refund my money. (they certainly took it quick enough). He began telling me that he could not process the refund and that his brother Tom handles that. I asked him to have Tom call me. Tom ended up calling me and was just like the brother Tim (the apple obviously does not fall too far from the tree). He was rude, argumentative and incorrigible. Again when I asked for a refund he became irate and used hurricane Ivan as an excuse. What does a hurricane have to do with refunding a customer? He began screaming at me and saying that I will not find a better cat tree anywhere else. This is by far the WORST company and customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life. It is obvious this is a company that cannot fulfill orders in the time frame promised and are in over their heads. I DO NOT recommend this company. You will get the run a round and promised another week or two weeks etc. It's a joke. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We bought a Molly and Friends cat tree several years ago and it still looks like new. Our three cats love it. The product is very high quality although quite pricey compared to others you see in pet shops. The arrival was very delayed and the owner failed to return several calls.I became quite concerned after a couple of months of no contact. When I did finally talk to him, he said staffing has been a huge problem due to Covid and he appologized. I could tell by his tone that he was struggling to maintain deliveries. So inspite of the lengthy delay, the we are very happy with the cat tower.

Bought the Layabout 4 years ago. It is a bit pricey but worth it. The bottom is very heavy which gives this cat tree amazing stability.I also have the Cat Recliner and XL Furniture Saver.MADE IN THE USA!!
