I love coming here. Super helpful, and usually has things like the Primal freeze dried raw topper that I use for my dog to eat dry food. :) and it's always fresh.I bought my betta fish supplies here also.Great place.

Very nice pet store. It was very clean and tidy. The staff were excellent and spent a good deal of time helping me pick the right items for my pet Conure and Tortoise. Even though the facility is 50 min away from my home, I will return.

I stopped here after finding a kitten at the beach a little while ago. I was talking to an employee and let her know I'm actually from Dallas TX and couldn't keep the kitten at my hotel. All the shelters and rescues are closed today since it's the weekend. The employee informed me that she and her wife have a cat rescue. She took the kitten from me without hesitation! I know that kitten will have a great life now, even after the difficult start it had. Thank you so much for having great employees who genuinely care for animals

I do buy online, pick up in store. They NEVER have the item I place an order for. Every time it’s cancelled and I have to buy a smaller bag or just order from somewhere else. I shop here because I like the coupon deals I get but at this point, I’m going to use Chewy again.

Every time me and my children go in there to see the animals they always have an excuse as to why we can’t pet them. I’ve had several different worker with poor attitudes and not the best at communicating with customers. It seems like their customers are an inconvenience. I’ve gone so many times to see if this would change and it doesn’t. So I will not be going back.

If you are going to sell any animal, you need to provide them with adequate care. These rabbits won’t live long. They require unlimited access to hay and a bowl of water to drink from. It is clear from their poop that their GI tract is already suffering. Someone please do your research and give these rabbits a chance at having a decent quality of life. Or don’t sell them at all.

While the STAFF at the FWB location are amazing, it ends there. This company as a whole leaves a lot to be desired… especially in the arena of corporate customer service and product availability. It is unfortunate because I have shopped them for years and the decline is glaring. Selection is abysmal - never having items in stock, they won’t transfer product from other stores that have it, and there is absolutely no corporate assistance or support whatsoever. Their website shopping is even worse.

Won't let you visit with the hamsters before you buy. One employee said they'd get the key and a basket so we could visit and one came over and said no, they bite too much. Sounds like you get your animals from mass breeders who don't interact with their animals. Buying a pet before handling it is incredibly irresponsible. No hand sanitizer anywhere for handling animals. Was so disappointed with this visit, the one before this wasn't great either. My family won't recommend this store to anyone, as they don't facilitate healthy pet ownership.

Nice pet market. A variety of pet food and toys for dogs, cats, and small animals.They also have items for fish and reptiles.Every sales person we passed were friendly and asked if we needed help.Prices are higher than big box stores, but the better variety was worth going.

This letter is in regards to the events that transpired between myself and your sales associate, Trevor, at PetSupermarket, store number 132 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL on February 19, 2017.I had just received news that I needed to make an emergency trip to Knoxville, TN as my cousin (age 43) had been in a severe car accident. She was in ICU on life support with not much chance for survival. It was suggested that I arrive immediately. As a result of receiving that news, I was in a state of high anxiety and fear. I asked my sister to secure flight arrangements for myself and cat to fly into Knoxville as soon as possible while I packed for the trip.Because I had not previously flown with my 14 year old cat, I did not have the approved carrier to transport her per airline regulations. My sister called PetSupermarket, store number 132, and spoke with Trevor shortly before 6:00 PM to check price and availability for the approved airline carriers. I was comforted to hear your store stocked the item and I could pick it up in time to catch a flight later that evening.After arriving at the store at approximately 6:30 PM, I was relieved to find Trevor, the employee my sister had spoken with about the carrier. I asked him to go over the details about the specs and pricing with me. I wanted to be sure the airlines would accept the carrier so I would not have any difficulty at the airport boarding the plane. Trevor responded with very aggravated and defensive behavior. I informed him of my cousin's condition, and the urgency for me to make the correct carrier purchase and catch a flight within the hour. I tried asking him a few more questions about the specifics of the carrier such as weight capacity and dimensions. Trevor remained rude, insensitive and uncompassionate given the circumstances. I asked him if there was a problem and he replied indeed there was! He said he did not like having the information he had given my sister over the phone challenged. I explained, yet again, this was all new information for me and I only wanted confirmation before my purchase. I then requested a manager and Trevor strongly stated that he was the manager on duty.I was visibly upset and could not believe how Trevor handled the situation as well as his overall lack of customer relation skills. His utter disregard of the sensitive subject matter in addition to my need for a carrier in an emergency situation was unacceptable. I would not have made the purchase (receipt attached), but taken my business elsewhere had time permitted me to do so. Incidentally, my cousin died less than 12 hours later.I was under the impression pet store employees are typically kind, gentle and compassionate due to pets being considered part of the family. I was sadly mistaken after this horrific experience with Trevor. I do not feel he needs to be working in any customer service capacity much less in a managerial position. I sincerely hope he does not treat all of your customers in this manner. Regardless, I will not be shopping for my pet supplies at your store in the future, nor referring any friends or family. I felt someone in regional management needed to be aware of Trevor's attitude and his representation of PetSupermarket at your Ft. Walton Beach location. Purchased a school of 3 fish and 5 ghost shrimp. I never verified if the correct quantity was in the bag at checkout. After arriving back home, I only had 2 fish and the correct amount of shrimp in the bag. I checked the receipt and was charged for the 3 fish. I immediately called the store and spoke with one of the reps there and explained the situation. Upon a brief hold she replied that the manager was the one helping me at the store earlier and was 100% sure she added 3 fish in the bag. I asked if I could get a refund or another fish and that they are still in the bag and I even took pictures for proof. She then said that they would have to check the security cameras and see if it was a mistake on their end. The manager couldn’t even manage to talk to me on the phone, instead have one of her employees deal with it. I will keep the fish in the bag and return everything as soon as they open back up in the morning. Poor customer service and will spend my money elsewhere!

Very large selection of dog (and other pets) items. As a doggy mom, I find so many dog-related items here that I cannot find elsewhere (or if I do find it elsewhere, it's so expensive at other places!). The prices and quality are excellent. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable every time I visit!!

I loved this place and always felt welcomed until recently. There is a new manager who is super rude. When asked for help by her on what Dog collar to get was told "i don't care".Also when she had to come price match for me she acted as if I was an annoyance. I use to really like this place and would go there to get all my animal things but I think due to the lack of respect from managers recently I will take my business else where.

I want to give a -5 or at least a 0 but it won’t allow me to. I went to return a dog harness I paid for with cash. The cashier asked if I wanted to sign up for their rewards program and I said no. I never shop there and did only because I needed one in a pinch. She then said it requires I sign up for it for any returns. I said I didn’t want to be forced into signing up when I don’t want to, don’t want to give my personal information and it was a CASH transaction. Again was told I couldn’t get a refund without it and not to worry because “the information doesn’t go anywhere”. So I had to give her false information in order to get a refund. I will never return to a Pet Supermarket because of this rude employee and your supposed policy requiring you to be a rewards member for a return. I will continue to use and support Chewy and PetSmart.

Third time in 6 months my dog food bag had a hole in it when purchased at this location. The cashier acted like that was normal and of no consequence to my dog. She didn’t even offer to let me go grab another bag of food. So I said never mind and didn’t purchase any of the items I had. Disappointed and don’t plan to return.

Worst company ever!!!!! I drive ever week over an hour for a specific bunny snack, won't let you order a case, website doesn't have the product, store associates are worthless to help! I cannot wait to find a new place. Sad I spend hundreds of dollars a month there for 5 dogs and 2 bunnies! You would think they would be willing to help. Shipments are on Fridays and when I drive all the way there they only have 1 up to 4. RIDICULOUS WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS all I want to do is make sure they have what I need and yet even the "manager" is unwilling to help when I'm ready to prepay to ensure products

I went in on 7/23/91 to buy a Elizabethan Collar for my dogs surgery, I wanted the blow up kind so she didn't have the cone but was talked out of it by the sales women who was in my opinion somewhat rude in her delivery and made me doubt what the vet told me I could use so I bought what she suggested.I did not need the collar I was sold so I tried to bring back the unused collar 7/29/91 and again got the same women who stated she could not do return and the manager had the key and was in a interview. She went back to tell her I was waiting and she would be out after she finished the next questions and again after waiting 15 minutes she went back to tell the manager again someone was waiting. I asked how long since I was no my lunch and she with her snappy attitude she said I don't know. I explained that it was not good customer service and she made a sarcastic sorry and nothing I can do. I finally left without buying the purchases I was planning or the return. Why is there only one person who can do returns, there was another lady in that decided to return her product another day.I always made sure when I went in to donate to whatever cause they were promoting no more, Navarre will get my business.I will never go back and purchase anything from this store again, if I lose my $21.29 it fine with me I will give to a rescue operation.
