Mercy's is our go-to when we need to board our two Brussels Griffons. While they board they are able to see their friends at doggy daycare and they have such a great time. The staff is very attentive and organized and Josh makes sure to give us updates on our pups along with pictures. We have complete peace of mind while our dogs are at Mercy's. Highly recommend!

The Mercy’s family is the best of the best! Both the staff and the clients are hands down, some of the best I’ve ever worked with. Josh is an awesome owner who has put together an amazing and knowledgeable staff who do all that they can everyday to not only take extremely good care of every pup but also make sure that all the pet parents get regular updates on their fur babies. It broke my heart when we had to PCS out of FL and I had to leave my Mercy’s family. If you want your pup to be loved and treated like family like they are at home, Mercy’s is my one and ONLY recommendation in the area.

So first off, we took our puppy beagle here last year for an interview which is fine and he passed but honestly weird. Our first couple times we dropped off our puppy he was good but then one of the trainers started telling us that he might grow up aggressive and he just runs around causing a disruption with the other dogs. Okay, so he was 5-6 months at the time and he’s a beagle so of course he’ll have a lot of energy and want to play with other dogs. It was just heartbreaking and not what a puppy owner wants to hear. The place has separate sections for different temperament dogs which was great but so many dogs are in one pen and 1-2 trainers. They cannot have full attention to so many dogs especially a puppy. My husband and I found a way better place that can focus on a few dogs and give our puppy the love and care he needs! It’s called My Happy Place and we were so happy when we found it. Our puppy is more happy and the trainers there are so happy to see him! They have 3-4 trainers for 10-15 dogs there. Please take your dog elsewhere from Mercy’s Play and Stay.

My dogs love being boarded at Mercy’s Play & Stay! They love playing with their friends and staff. I’m very picky and overprotective on who can take care of my fur babies and the staff and owner Josh give me peace of mind. The site is very clean and organized for starters. Everyone is amazing, the staff is very kind, attentive, CPR certified, professional and truly care for each of the doggie guests. They provide me with true transparent updates regularly which is priceless for a concerned dog parent. You won’t regret bringing your fur babies to Mercy’s. One daycare visit and you will be hooked. Another perk is that it’s a one stop shop, grooming, daycare, training and boarding. I’ve tried my fair share of doggie boarding in Okaloosa county in the last 15 years and Mercy’s is far superior than any other facility.

We mostly send our pup to Mercy’s for boarding and he does great there! Even though we aren’t there often the staff always remembers him. I love getting updates with photos to see how he’s doing. Everything seems organized and I do like how the dogs have to go through an “interview” to understand each dog’s temperament. I also like knowing that there are trainers that are part of the staff. They also have grooming options which is great if you want to pick up a clean dog after a long stay.

Mercy's has been absolutely incredible for our pup! I'm not sure what we would do without them! The staff is always loving on him while teaching him new tricks. Every morning he runs and picks up his leash, ready to go to daycare. Mercy's is a fantastic place & I highly recommend them to all dog owners!

This review is for "Mercy's Play and Stay" doggie day care center in Ft Walton Beach, and is also a thank you to their wonderful, knowledgeable, trained and caring staff. Our sensitive, bashful 50 pound puppy (though he's 50 pounds, he'll always be a puppy to us), wasn't a bit excited to go to his first daily dog care. We checked back a couple times the first day I was confident after the first day that we found Mercy's staff very capable, allowing us to leave our puppy in good hands and would be getting the same attention and love he gets at home.I found Mercy's facilities to be a safe and clean environment that had plenty activities for him to play and socialize with the staff and play with his furry friends. Oh, their doggie birthday parties are not to be missed. Our puppy has lost his bashfulness and and now has the confidence to play and relax when around our friends. We have learned to get our of his way when we say, "are you ready to go to doggie day care", because he'll come running with his leash in mouth to the door.Thank you once again for taking care of our special puppy Bowie. We highly recommend your dog day care facility for anyone that wants peace of mind for the beloved pets.I highly recommend Mercy's Play and Stay care center to anyone looking for taking care of their pets.Glenn and Valerie W.

The team at Mercy’s is absolutely amazing! Our Loki boy goes there for boarding and has a great stay every time. The team truly cares for the dogs at the facility, and they all maintain great communication with us throughout boarding.

Josh has been absolutely fantastic from day one. I actually brought my dog here before when it was under different ownership, and it was night/day difference. Josh has completely overhauled the business and it has been nothing but perfect stays every time since he has taken over. My dog Coco loves it here and was known by name by every staff member, because they truly care about each and every pup and get to know them personally. Love this place and would highly recommend to anyone wanting their dog in the best hands possible.

Mercy’s Play and Stay is amazing! We rescued a yorkie 7 weeks ago and leaving Ruby alone for long periods of time was not an option as she is still acclimating to her new home. EVERYONE at Mercy’s has been phenomenal. A special shout out to Kalie who groomed our sweet girl to perfection! I almost cried when I saw her afterward. Even Ruby knew she looked good 😍

Our Giant Schnauzer, Sasha, LOVES going to daycare at Mercy’s. She literally pulls us into the building every morning and runs in without looking back haha. It makes us so happy to know she’s having fun and is cared for while we work. We fully trust the staff and are so impressed with the facility. Josh, the owner, is very helpful and responsive to any and all questions. Highly recommend Mercy’s to anyone who is looking for daycare!

There are so many things I can say praising mercy’s. My dog, Odie, has been going to them for a year for doggy daycare and he loves it. When he first went for the meet and greet I had expressed how nervous I was bringing him because so many people just react to the fact he’s a Rottweiler and don’t get to know him. Suzette assured me that they love all dogs here and then told me about all the other dogs they had that play there who were on the “aggressive breeds list.” He’s been going ever since. Everyone there loves him and they take great care of him while he’s there. The people who work there absolutely love animals and I feel great leaving odie with them. Also, I boarded my dog for the first time last year. Honestly it was the first time he’s been away from me since I got him at 5 weeks old and he did great. I’m sure if he was upset cause I was away or anything like that they would have come up with something to make him feel better.I added photos of him after doggy daycare days. He just comes home and sleeps!! It’s great! If you are wondering what a good place is to take your pup for doggy daycare or to board them I HIGHLY recommend Mercy’s. They’re honestly one of the reasons why I refuse to move out of fort Walton. I don’t want to take my dog to another daycare.

I love all of the staff at Mercy’s. They treat my baby (Piper) as their own. Max has done such an amazing job with training Piper and informing me on tips and tricks with being a first time dog owner. They also have grooming which works perfectly for piper to get her energy out and end the day with a nice bath when needed! I would recommend this day care and Max as a trainer to anyone!

Unfortunately this facility was not a fit for my dog due to their setup. He is a very active lab that loves to run and fetch the ball so I was excited for the more interactive play this facility provided. He had one half day here and when I picked him up after four hours, all his nails were ground down to the quick and he had dried blood on all four paws. The staff downplayed it and told me it was very normal, especially for a puppy (he’s a 50 lb lab). He continued to bleed in my car on the way home and I had to bathe him to remove all the dried blood to get a better look. One quick in particular was very bad. This may be considered “normal” for the staff if they see this happening at their facility regularly, but this should not be considered a “normal” occurrence for a dog. If this is considered “normal” then I should’ve be warned that this could even happen due to their concrete floors. If I saw a dog bleeding I would consider this dog injured. The activity should’ve been stopped and the dog should’ve been cared for and cleaned up. Damage to the quick can easily lead to an infection and I wish I had been called earlier if he was bleeding all over the floor and getting them dirty. I called my vet the same day to get further instruction on caring for him to avoid any further damage or issues. I believe this facility needs to reevaluate their set up before injuring anymore dogs. I was able to communicate this to the owner and he advised me that this is not acceptable service and he will be doing an internal investigation. I spoke to another dog parent while I waited inside and she praised the place so I do believe it can be a great facility and I hope this doesn’t happen to another doggy.

I cannot recommend Mercy’s enough. I moved to FWB on a short notice, and not only did they expedite everything to make sure my fur baby could come to day care, but they made her and myself feel extremely supported. My fur baby goes to day care, boarding and gets baths with Mercy’s team and everything is seamless. To have a place that I know I can blindly trust, has no price tag to it! Don’t even think twice.

I am so grateful to have found Mercy's! My husky and I absolutely love everyone there and she's even picked up positive habits working with their well-trained staff during daycare. No bad habits allowed here! They are indoors and air conditioned which allows her to play for hours and burn her energy. I'm looking forward to their next obedience class as well so that I can learn how to better work with her myself!❤️🐶❤️

We have been boarding and using day care for our Shaggy for about 2 1/2 years. These folks are amazing! He loves it there. Anytime we start driving in that direction, he goes crazy! He is just so excited to play with the other dogs. I really appreciate the updates from Josh when we are traveling. This really allows us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Thanks for all you do.

I wish I could leave zero stars. To be clear, I never got a chance to use this company's services. The entire process is overly complicated, and they request all your personal information before they even consider accepting your pet. Then, after sending all the information, vaccination documentation, and the 17 questions on the new client questionnaire. They asked me to clarify one of the answers on the questionnaire, which I did. That was 3 days ago, and I have not heard back from them since. It sounds like they are picky on what pets they allow, which it is their business, so they have that right. My main complaints are that if they are going to be that selective, they need better process to manage new clients. Also, the complete failure in communication is unexceptable from a company that is supposed to care for our loved pets.

Mercy’s Play and Stay is a true gem for my family. My two pups have always had an amazing time playing at daycare and during their boarding. Whenever they hear my husband or me say, “It’s time for daycare” they are perked up and running for our door! This has been a consistent reaction from them, so I know they are being nurtured by the staff each and every time they walk through the doors.Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do for my fur babies! I am so happy that we found your company!

Never ever had I encounter an experience like we have had…,We have a three year old pup that we were looking for daycare for in Ft Walton, where we have a second home. Our pup has been in doggy day care and boarding at facilities in New Orleans with excellent report cards - no issues ever! We called Mercy Play and Stay and was told we had to schedule a meet and greet for one hour for $29.95 to see if our dog would meet their requirements. So we show up with Lucy at the appt time- talk with the worker and she takes Lucy to the back. 20 minutes later she comes back and says our dog is not a fit but you can pay the fee on your way out. So they turn down my dog in less than an hour and charge me because my dog requires more “space” than they could provide. Lesson for Mercy: if you going to turn people away- don’t charge them! Big money grab!!!

We love Mercy’s Play and Stay!! The staff knows us and our dog by name and is VERY loving and affectionate with her. When our dog went through a picky eating phase the staff was incredibly helpful and got her to eat when we couldn’t. When we pick up our dog she is always smiling and incredibly happy. Our dog has issues with men but here she loves everyone, which is very rare!! We cannot say enough good things about Mercy’s!!!

Our 2 dogs came home happy and well taken care of by the staff at Mercys.I was impressed with the updates we received while we were away. It gave us a peace of mind, especially since our dogs are older and one suffers from high anxiety. Also, during the holidays, they were treated to a special meal, which was an unexpected gesture that was so appreciated. I would definitely recommend Mercy’s for your pet. Very caring and competent.

I absolutely love Mercy's!! The staff is amazing and take such great care of our Pup!! He has such a great time at doggie daycare and comes home tired from playing with the other dogs. It's so great to know that when we go out of town he's cared for like one of their own pets. ❤️

We absolutely love this place. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and care for the dogs just as we do at home. The facilities are amazing! It's big, well equipped, clean and welcoming. Our dog went to daycare a couple times and then had to leave her there for a full week to attend an event out of town. I was nervous about boarding my pup and don't think I'd have left her anywhere else. We picked her up this morning and she's happy, relaxed and feels like we were never apart.Highly recommended Mercy's play +stay.Thank Suzette and the entire staff for looking after our fur baby!

Wow! I’m always blown away by how excellent this facility is and the level of individualized care they give to each pet staying with them. We recently enrolled our dog, Walter, in their daycare program—he’s always excited to go and extra tired coming home. Five stars!

I have been taking our dog Luna to Mercy’s Play and Stay for almost a year now for both doggy day care and boarding. The staff is always friendly and helpful and Luna loves to go there. I feel confident when Luna is at Mercy’s that she is in good hands. Mercy’s has everything your dog needs from doggy day care to boarding to training and grooming.
