I can't say enough good things about this place. Dr. Hartley and Dr. Epperson have taken great care of my dog herd for years (even my Hamilton, who's still a happy, healthy boy at 16 years old). The entire staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and I always leave knowing that my dogs have received the best possible care. My calls and questions get answered quickly, which is appreciated by this neurotic dog mom. I'll never take my pets anywhere else.Special shout out to Linda, who handles dental care. She is so sweet to my boys (and me!), and they always come home with beautiful smiles :)

Companion has been there for us to care for 4 different dogs. They have treated us like family from puppy exams and shots to boarding while we went on vacation to new diagnoses of diabetes requiring insulin and cancer to helping to end our beloved pets’ suffering. We and our pets have always received kindness and respect from the staff and the Veterinarians and we are grateful. We have recently moved out of the area and I miss our wonderful experience with Companion! I would highly recommend this office to care for your pets.

My first time using Companion as I was in urgent need to board my dog as I was going into the hospital. My dog has separation anxiety and hasn't been around other dogs or many people.Their service was very friendly and efficient and made me feel comfortable by calling me and sending photos during his 7 day stay. I really was amazed at how well my dog adapted. Also he received a bath, including the extras and smelled so good when I picked him up!I would definitely use them again!

Companion Boarding Center is top-notch! The staff is so great, especially Ms. Kate, she is incredible! They're patient, kind, and truly care about both their animal and human customers. I feel very comfortable leaving my girl with them knowing she is in such good hands and she happily walks up to the door every time. The best group!The vet was also fantastic!

Hurley loves coming to visit, even when it’s for a shot or exam. All the vet techs and Drs. are professional, caring, and friendly; and they definitely develop a rapport with patients! I’ve boarded here on many occasions also; very good rates for care received.

Cami loves visiting here and gettin g groomed. She always looks adorable and smells great. I never have to worry about her and I know she is getting the best medical care possible. The 4 doctors there are amazing and I would not take my dog anywhere else! Trust me... this place will not disappoint.

I really appreciated getting to come inside with Ella as she is a very nervous girl. Both the tech and Dr. DesJardins were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were great with Ella and Lucky. I always feel like my fur babies are in great hands at Companion. I feel that you do really care and I appreciate being asked if I have any questions about anything.

I love this vet! They are so kind and considerate and really understand that our pets are our family. Everything is explained well and they even followed up the day after my pup's surgery to see how she was doing. I love that!! The facility is always nice and clean which I really appreciate.

My wife and I were down here in Florida on vacation with our daughter and son-in-law. Our large party poodle was already in kidney failure. He got much worse and he got to the point where he could not stand on his own. Companion animal hospital was extraordinarily awesome. They took care of the euthanism with all the skill and professionalism of a heart surgeon. Technician Harley was so compassionate and understanding. The same goes for the vet doctor but I did not get her name. They were able to fit us in when they did not have to. A five-star review does not do this veterinarian center justice. This was a 10 star performance. We will be forever in debt to this center!!!

Absolutely the best place to take your pets! The Best staff! They are so accommodating, and kind, and gentle, and explains everything that’s going on everything that’s going to happen they do great follow up they seem genuinely concerned for not only your pet but for you as well. I will not take my pets anywhere else but Companion in Fort Walton Beach. I’m only allowed toleave five stars but I’d leave a heck of a lot more if I could. I am so grateful for these guys.❤️❤️❤️

We board our two dogs here and the staff are so friendly and always helpful! Our most recent out-of-town trip was over the Thanksgiving holiday and we made sure to book many months in advance. The cost is very reasonable and gives us peace of mind when we're gone because we know the staff takes good care of our pets. Highly recommend and will continue to use their boarding services in the future.

Thru this truly challenging time of dealing with the world crisis of Covid, Companion Animal Hospital & Boarding Center has done an outstanding job of adapting daily routines in a manner that helps keep everyone safe while still maintaining their high level of care for all of our fur babies. I was so scared for my baby and from the intake nurse to the talk with the Dr they showed how much they care especially in this time of Covid. I got my dog's nails done at this clinic last month, and was charged the full price, which is fine. I was supposed to be. However, when they were finished, I said to myself, "Wait a minute. This is terrible. They're not done yet, are they?" So I inquired, and was told that the "dremel is broken," which is fine. Things happen, and equipment breaks.However, I should have been informed prior to the service being performed that they were not in a position to provide the service in its entirety, thereby placing me in a position to make an informed decision as to whether I wished to go forward or not. At no point did anyone ever say that they were unaware that the dremel was broken, so they knew, but happily charged me full price anyway. In the interest of full disclosure, once I brought their misfeasance to their attention, they did refund my money, but even then, they only wanted to give me a "credit." However, I insisted on my cash back. Please be watchful and mindful.

They even have a separate feline only waiting room, plus exam room(s?). The building is clean and modern, the staff were all caring toward me and my cat, Dr. Patel and her assistant were down to earth and easy to talk to. They clipped her nails and cleaned her ears out at my request (extra charge) but we were happy walking out! And they send out reminder texts for appts, keeping on top of everything, including when I requested medical records and they emailed them that day to me. Great veterinarian.

Thank you to Companion for their quick and compassionate care for my girl, Lana. I was seen as a walk-in on a busy Friday, and I had my dog back home by 3pm with answers, medication, and clear instructions for follow-up. Thank you Tori & team. I wouldn’t trust my pup to anyone else.

Companion is a wonderful pet hospital. I have been a client for 10 years.The vets are compassionate and caring. The techs and receptionists have always been helpful and personable. They were reassuring, kind, and created a peaceful atmosphere when I had to say goodbye to my first dog. They have always given quick, prompt care and attention to my wild and crazy dog. The facility is clean and smells good. Their veterinary staff is engaged and well-trained. I highly recommend them.

After my dog got sick and the emergency vet didn’t help we took him to companion, they were very compassionate and did everything they could to help us, they found that our dog has something stuck in his belly and tried every possible option before surgery because they knew we were tight on money. We ending up having to do surgery and even then they were very knowledgeable and helpful, they kept good contact while he stayed over night and kept us up to date in a timely manner, I would definitely recommend this vet clinic they have a great, compassionate, and helpful staff.

Vet was so thorough explaining about seizures. She made me feel at ease about what my dog has been going through and am very happy with the medical plan she has decided on. I also have always been happy with her teeth cleanings and yearly exams. I would recommend Companion to anyone with a dog! Very caring staff and very knowledgeable!
