I ordered interior doors. One door was a louvered door. After it was installed the louvres were pointing the wrong way so you could see inside the closet. I made sure all doors were ordered correct in regards to swing and location. I contacted them, but the answer was that they couldn't do anything about it. Very disappointing.

Long time customer and local business owner here. I shop here at least twice a week For materials for jobs. I walked up to the door today 5 minutes before closing as the Old man was closing the door. He was extremely rude. “ What do you need? what do you need? what do you need?” While frantically swinging his hand in the “let’s go”motion. “A 2x4” I said. “Nope closed” and then Locked the door. All the old man had to say was “sorry were closed” no reason to be rude about it. Everyone had a long day. Everyone worked hard today. Everyone just wants to go home. I guess some people live miserable lives, and believe that everyone else in the world is only a hologram and they are the only living, breathing, person on the planet.

Good old fashioned kind of store, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can find stuff there that the big box stores don't carry. And if they don't have it, they'll find it online and order it. However? They now have a policy where you must leave a back pack at the counter. They want me to trust them with my wallet and laptop that I frequently carry, but they don't trust me not to steal a 39cent screw? I used to go there like twice a week? Will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I can't say enough about these folks. They went out of their way to satisfy my request for a special t-shirt for a Christmas gift for my husband then they would not take anything for it. The folks who work here are always so attentive and helpful. My husband will wear his ACE shirt proudly!

I was in there today with a rather odd and demanding request...100 metric screws of different lengths and sizes.Thomas was patient, sorted through multiple boxes, and hooked me up. Check out was pleasant and quite easy on the wallet. Wish I still lived near here! Thanks guys!

They might be convenient, and do have a lot of the oddball parts, but they're very pricey. Piece of three-quarter EMT cost $5.99, I get the same dang thing at Home Depot for $385.

They do not have a variety of tools or products. Also, one of the employee who works there is a bit rude. I went to ask for help and i could tell by his voice he was annoyed. I told him what i need and he replied well do you have the size for it and what kind of washer do you need? Well, if i knew the damn size of the screw and the type of washer i need it. I would not be asking. He just told where to go and thats it. Didnt even bother showing me. I had to ask another employee who indeed did help me. Overall, mainly bad customer service and poor product selection, not enought tools available. I will not be returing to this store ever. First and last time i go to this store.

Helpful staff, always eager to assist when your can't find what you're looking for and they know enough to be helpful. The guys at the counter can be a little surly, but they do their job with aplomb. Great little local hardware store.

I found the vacuum cleaner for $2. However I couldn't find a vacuum bag. East Coast Lumber and Supply not only did they do an extensive search but they called another store before I go very far to make sure that they had it in stock and they did I was very thankful

I came into East Coast Lumber today to buy a load of lumber for a construction job. 3 employees working behind the counter. One was on the phone, and he asked me to go over to other employee. I did and he was immediately rude, disrespectful, and disinterested in helping me. He made a scowling face at me, then looked to the other employees to see what they were doing instead of providing me service. I turned and walked away, and he yells “What do you need” I have been in East Coast Lumber many times over 40 plus years. This employee has always been rude , short and disrespectful to customers.

East coast lumber and supplies are really great place what and got some garden hose supplies water hose bibs did not have enough money I was a dollar shyand they cut the bill down to where I had enough to buy it so that is a really great place if anybody needs something and don't have enough money they will work with you I give them five stars

Great stuff from marine to home cleaning supplies. I make this my "go to" store. Everyone helpful if you're trying to fix something as-well-as build anything with terrific building supplies. This place is a Ft. Pierce icon. Keep the hometown home and shop here.

Needed 5 new door nobs for house. They only come on set of four. Grabbed a fifth and the clerk reset the key so all five locks use one key.and 15 dollars less than home depot with less headache to get the assistance needed.
