I was new to the area and my sister’s cat needed his nails trimmed. I found Plain and Fancy online since it was close. The owner was able to squeeze us in the very next morning and he was so cordial when we got there. He was great with the kitty and they even gave each other snuggles before we left. Pricing is great and they’ve absolutely earned a new customer with their courteous and professional behavior. I couldn’t recommend Plain and Fancy more and have already referred them to our friends!

I am THRILLED THAT I finally found a groomer for life!!! I have brought my mini Bernedoodle 8 months and she has been going to pet smart and I was never satisfied but today I took a chance last minute around 3pm and called Plain and Fancy and I suddenly just hung up because I thought there’s no way I’ll get in last minute and he CALLED ME BACK and I explained to him how I just wanted a bath and a brush he was so nice and told me to come in and he would meet me there because he is by appointment only and luckily didn’t have any dogs today. So I dropped her off and came back an hour later and I was just SHOCKED A OUT HOW BEUY BABY GIRL WAS I never seen her that beautiful and fluffy and smelled amazing and he told me she did amazing and I was shocked bc everywhere else she “was a problem” in the case of Petsmart grooming, and he told me that she works well in a quiet environment not with other dogs barking and yelling like other places I am so HAPPY ONCE AGAIN you won’t be disappointed

My cat Oliver needed to get his nails clipped so I was looking for somewhere local & found this place. The owner was so good to my veryy anxious cat. It only took a minute or two and Oliver didn’t want to leave because he was too busy snuggling with the owner ❤️ The new address is 15560 Mcgregor blvd in the Bruno plaza & there’s a really cool record shop next door!

I love Plain and Fancy Pet Salon. I have been bringing my toy poodle to them since they opened, and I felt it was time to write a review! They are the best pet groomer I have found since moving to Florida. When I come in with my dog, they are welcoming, kind and I know when I leave my little toy poodle Daisy, she is well cared for. They are professional, kind, courteous and their groomers are excellent. My dog always looks so clean and well groomed when I pick her up. They also do not keep the dog for a unnecessary length of time,which helps lower the stress level of my dog, knowing she won't be there for hours and hours.I have recommended Plain and Fancy to many people, and they are all pleased with them.I highly recommend them, and I thank you "Plain and Fancy" for the care and love you show my dog when I bring her to you, you are just terrific!

Could I give less then one star it would be 3 minus. The owners are nice and friendly but the yob the stuff ( at least one person from the stuff) is doing is more then lousy! I told the groomer to cut the hair from my dog not more then half down and got her back with a schnauzer cut about 1/4 of an inch. She was not matted at all. I told the "groomer" even to leaf some areas alone ( like the tail, the ears and the top of the head and specially one spot on the back with a small mole what has to be removed by a vet) but no she must have worked at a Australian sheep farm before as a wool cutter. She was going so low that she cut even over the mole and it was bleeding. The first part in the salons name "Plain" is absolutely correct but "Fancy" is just a joke! It's in my opinion the worst job I have ever seen on any of my dogs and I had 3 in the past 40years!!!

When my girlfriend needs a spa day, I take her to Plain and Fancy. Matt takes great care to make sure she has a beautiful day and looks her best. I always feel well taken care of by everyone. It can be challenging to find the right groomer, but Plain & Fancy is the spot for my girlfriend.

I have never wrote a review before but this time i feel i have to. The groomer did an ok job the first time i took my doggie there, but she was there for over 4 and 1/2 hours.. So this time, i called before taking her to let them know i could not wait that long, while on the phone the mother of the groomer, said that things come up and it takes that long. I could not imagine what could come up when i already had an appointment and asked her. She could not give me an answer and hung up on me. I arrived on time at 12:30 to drop my dog off and he (the groomer) came out from the back with an attitude and repeated what his mother had told me. But... I guess, i should not have said to his motherthat i didn't appreciate her hanging up on me and oh boy did that not go over very well. She apologized but her son went ballistic on me. He started screaming obscenity's at me (and i mean screaming) and told me to get out. I could not get out fast enough. My dog was shaking so bad and i told him to stop screaming, he was scaring my dog. His mother tried to get him to stop but she was no help at all. She followed me to my car and he was right behind her yelling. She told him several times to stop but he just kept swearing and i did feel so sorry for her. I hate to have been the next dog he cut that day. Anyway, this is what happened and i think that anyone who takes their dog there should be very careful. They say if you see something say something and that is why i am telling this. And one thing the first cut was not that great either. But i always try and give them a second chance.. PLEASE BEWARE...

I needed to change groomers because they were not very professional in that during this time of Covid-19 no masks were required. After this first visit to Plain and Fancy I was so grateful for their friendliness and grooming skills. Our Havanese has the best grooming she has had in a very long time. So pleased.

Just moved from MI and had our 3 year old Parti Yorki and 5 year old Morki groomed with Plain & Fancy Pet Salon. They are so friendly and the puppies smelled wonderful and looked amazing after their fresh new hair cuts! We will be defiantly using again. Caring staff.

I was taking my dog there for over a year because it was convenient and basically within walking distance. I should have known when I spotted the groomer clipping a dog's face with pointed scissors this was bound to happen.When I picked up my dog, they told me he defecated in the cage which is something he never does. That should've been a red flag.After I got him home, he wouldn't open his right eye. I thought maybe he got a little hair in there and it was bothering him so I gave it until Monday. Monday comes and his eye is still closed and he's rubbing it and won't let me near it to check it out.I bring him to the vet and she tells me he has a laceration on his eye and may lose it because it has become infected. I had to put antiseptic on his eye every four hours and give him antibiotics twice a day in order to save his eye. $400 later and two weeks out of work his eye, luckily, had healed. He was happy to get the cone off and the search for a new groomer began.Several months later I ran into the groomer in a store and she asked where he had been. I told her what happened, and of course, she denied it. Now, I'm finally taking time to write this review to warn people not to take their dogs there.

Matt is a "super star" in his profession! I love the stylish groom he gave Aurora, quite the challenge because of her Bichon/Tea Cup Poodle hair...she's beautiful., and did not seem traumatized afterwards...his gentle touch was perfect for my baby. 👏 Bravo!

They just moved to this location I was told. Everyone is very friendly, the shop is very clean and they loved my pup. I gave my Pomchi the whole Spa treatment, and he look marvelous when I picked him up, they even brushed his teeth! We will be going back next month for sure!

The gentleman there had to shave my poor cat because she had dreadlocks practically! Ha! He was so good with her and she's 15 years old and has never been anywhere like that but he let us be in there with her and he just did an awesome job!

Took my sweet golden retriever here. The owner fought me over the price after I had brought my dog in once before just for a consult. Lady quoted me $45. Owner was angry but took my dog anyway... He proceeded to tell me that another grooming shop went out of business because they werent charging enough... As if thats my fault?! I delibertly brught the dog in and asked how much before booking an appoinment!! Her haircut was awful!!! He cut her ears and all around her legs and she was bleeding, he shaved her tail even though we didn't want it shaved. Paws weren't even shaped up. It was awful. When I picked her up there was dog crap all over the indoor dog run. She was still damp and seemed unhappy. It's been 3 weeks and my poor dog has scabs behind her ears and on her rear. Why can't anyone just do a decent job?!? I will never return to this groomer!!!

Did a good job with the dogs bath but her nails were left jagged and terrible. Don't think they can handle a big dog. Owners are nice.
