Worst grooming for my Golden Retriever. They did not listen one bit to what I wanted. Told them to just trim his feet and a sanitary trim and they cut off his whole mane and more. You can see all the cut stokes. I had them do the de-shed as well and he is still shedding more than he normally would after having this done. They were either rushing (even though it was a 3hr appt) or were not that experienced. We will never use this location again for grooming services. We use the Gulf Coast Town Center location normally and they are wonderful but they didn’t have weekend appointments for a while. Now I know why I got an appointment so soon at this location. If you have a golden retriever I would not go here unless you like them cut short and no clean lines in the cut. I have attached photos but let me tell you he looks worse in person than they show. Also I have noticed that they split one of his nails almost completely in half down the middle so a vet trip will most likely be in our future as well.

Chris was very kind and professional. He does a saving job! They have a vet there as well as grooming and it’s affordable. You even get discounts. I highly recommend coming here so you aren’t getting ripped off or dealing with snooty people as I did.

Tried Petco Grooming at the Fort Myers Petco at 13741 S Tamiami Trail. Stopped by and spoke to Chris who was very nice and informative. He spoke very highly of their services and the many years of experience the groomers have. I decided to trust them with my dog’s groom and booked an appointment on line. What a mistake. When I dropped her off I was greeted by Chris and another female. My confirmed appointment said the groomer would be Chris but he told me he was not going to groom her. He only does big dogs. I asked the female if she was the groomer. She said no. Donna would be grooming her. Donna never came out to see what I wanted. I explained to both Chris and the other female that I wanted her to be cleaned up with a short shaggy look and specified several times I did not want her shaved. I know she was matted a bit which she is prone to and has had 3 grooms previous to this appointment with matts removed without a shave. Matting does require a bit of a shorter cut, but never shaved. Everyone was friendly and professional. About half hour later I received a call from the groomer, Donna, who said she was matted and would need to cut her a little shorter than discussed. I said I understood. Never did she say she was going to shave her. When I picked her up 3 ½ hours later I was shocked at her groom. She was shaved! I did not even recognize her as my dog. Chris said he even walked by her kennel and didn’t know it was her. I was so upset and shocked I was at a loss for words. I did not want to cause a scene at my displeasure as there were more dogs being dropped off and picked up. My dog was groomed on January 19. I wanted to wait before writing this review to cool off. However, I am still upset about this experience every time I look at her. I will continue to shop Petco for supplies but will never again trust them to groom my dog . In closing I would like to say that the grooming staff there were all courteous and friendly. Again, I never met the actual groomer. Their communication between the front desk and the groomer was very poor as the results indicate. They may have overbooked as dogs were coming and going constantly. They took the convenient way to groom her by shaving her without my permission and did not listen at all to my request. The photo of the Petco groom is on the left. Her last groom is on the right.

Kieren was such an extraordinary help with my pup! It was my dog, Ember's, first grooming appointment and she was very very nervous which only made me feel even more anxious to leave her with someone new! Kieren is well knowledgeable and patient. Ember and I left with smiles on our faces and feel more knowledgeable on what to do the next time we come in. I look forward to seeing Kieren again for Embers next appointment!

Chris is always happy to see my dog, Lacey, and takes such good care of her during her grooming. He always reports to me afterwards on how Lacey did. And she always looks so nice when she is done. She loves her spa day at Petco.

We requested to have the dog groomed. I noticed a few matts by her ears and instructed groomer over the phone that she could shave that area if need be and to leave a top knot pony tail. Instead the dog was shaved all over her body except the top knot and her tail. There were several nicks on moles and her privates. I had surgery so I wasn't able to pick out the length of the haircut on a board... but a close shave was not what I had in mind or what I expressed.

They did a great job cutting my job,It was kinda pricey and over 4 hours the dogs just stay in a kennel and they work on multiple dogs at once so it took a lot longer than I’d expect for having an appointment.But my dog was happy and he smelled great and was great overall no cut or anything

I didn't like my dog Grooming my dog didn't get a haircut he out all of his Fur shave off . That you can see his skin and I clearly ask not to touch the tail and my orders was ignored never again will I come back

Definitely a great groomer here!Crystal did an AMAZING job on my little Phoebe!!! It took a little while but it was WELL worth it. She is so gentle and took SUCH great care of my girl. She even managed to get her to wear barrettes!I HIGHLY recommend Crystal at Petco for your grooming needs. She's amazing and I'm definitely going back. Plus their care package is a REALLY good deal so it was worth losing my other oppointment.OH! AND she cleaned my baby's eyes which had been blackened since before we adopted her. I've always felt bad about it and tried everything to get it off but Crystal was great and scrapped all the gunk off her eyes and now she's SO much happier!

Iris took in our two dogs to be groomed.they were a mess...they came out BEAUTIFUL!! I had taken Jessie to a groomer elsewhere..and asked every time for her nails to be trimmed. never was done. We went to Iris and her nails are PERFECT!! super groomer!!!!! We love Iris!!

Approximately 2 weeks ago we purchased a snail and a fish along with several other items from this store.Today we came to the store to return the dead fish and purchase another one.We we’re told by the manager that we needed a water sample which we did not know we needed in order to get a refund.Fine i said , we will take the loss on the fish but we would like to buy a few more fish.We we’re told by the manager in a very rude tune of voice that we could not buy anymore fish unless we bring in a water sample.Needless to say we won’t be coming back to this store again

Kevin took the appointment via the telephone and welcomed us at the door and took care of Lola himself. Great job Kevin!
