Stopped by looking for a specific aquatic plant and found so much more! Staff was extremely helpful, very friendly, and knowledgeable. We will return, and encourage others to check out this gem of a local pet shop.

First time there.The man who helped me was hands on took me around the store and was very knowledgeable. I have a variety of pets and live in pet stores the prices there were so much more reasonable I saved ten dollars on on 6 items I buy regularly.Taking my son there tomorrow😁

This is my all time favorite pet store! They are always so helpful when I come in and help me on the right direction. I came in last month looking for fattening food for my foster dog that only weighed 12 pounds when her average weight is supposed to be 30-35 pounds. They introduced me to this food called Bully Max and it sure did the trick! She now weighs 32 pounds and is no longer my foster but my furever furbaby!!!

This small pet store is amazing! I used to shop at large pet stores, but this is much better! If they don't carry something I need, I just place an order and pick it up a few days later. Between our dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle supplies, our family finds what we need in a personal and friendly environment at Perky Pets.

Great Pet Shop That Has Almost Everything!!!Honestly, I wish the sold snakes and other reptiles, but regardless, I love this place. They always treat you very nice and courteous. It's a family pet shop. I like going there. Large selection of pet items. It's not a tiny little pet shop either. It definitely has ample space.

This is the absolute best pet store in town. They really treat you and your pets like family. They can get just about anything you want and no matter what you ask they never hassle you or act like they're doing you a favor (even if they are!). Everything is very high quality and affordable. The store is always clean and there's always someone to help you. I love the fact that I'm able to support a local business without feeling like I'm downgrading at all.

I have been going perky pets for well over 15 years. I drive 23 miles not only because their prices are reasonable that helps owning multiple pets a lot easier. But also Dallas and his staff are always very pleasant and ready to help. In addition to the fact that I enjoy supporting a small business owner and not a franchise. This is definitely the best pet store in town!! Family atmosphere! Great prices!! Dallas is absolutely amazing!! I wouldn’t buy any of my bird’s items anywhere else! They even offer to help carry your bags to your car. I would recommend this store to anyone!

I love the birds i purchased there... HOWEVER, the manager/(I'm assuming owner) could not tell me if the birds were male or female. He was quite rude in his explanation. Reason i did give 3 starts instead of 1 is because the employ they had there was very helpful and was not as heavy handed in handling the birds as the manager guy

Year later update .... This place just always has great customer service and they actually take the time to get to know the customers.Always friendly staff with manners and make sure your taken care of. Always drive from Punta Gorda to get my protein run for my reptile babies.

Love this store. They have great prices, super customer service, and perhaps every bird toy ever made. They sell in bulk for commercial breeders, as well. I happily make the 70+ mile round trip twice a month.

Perkys Pets aways has friendly people working and very helpful too. I bought a large bag of Parrot food and without having to ask the gentleman just picked up the food and carried it to my SUV. They have so many toys, for my Parrot and my dog also. And at great prices too! I am very grateful for this store. PS: they're cheaper than Amazon too. 😆
