So I've taken two days to ponder the experience I had here ... I'm still above and beyond impressed by Cameron our server, and the quality, freshness, and selection of the best food you will find on the beach. Everything was perfectly prepared, every bite was full of flavor and taste. The chef here is cooking with pride and really makes a statement with the food. I literally ordered everything on the menu to get a taste, and every single thing was spectacular. This will be the only place I go for seafood when I'm in the area or in Florida.So you take incredible food, the atmosphere, the music, and you add that to sitting in the sand, watching the waves roll in or enjoying the sunset ... I'm sorry, but you just don't find perfection like this very often.

Dinner was very tasty but a long wait for the food as they were very busy. I loved the outdoor seating right on the beach with umbrellas for the day shift. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She did not rush us at all however we can tell that the outdoor seating has to stop at 8:30 pm because of the turtle’s nesting and it added so much stress on the staff especially when it got dark and they could not see much!We still will go back again as the atmosphere and food were wonderful!

So good! Love the beachfront vibes, live music, tasty drinks and great food. It was rainy that day but the live show went in and all covered seating, to keep the rain away. The grouper tacos were great as well as the fresh grouper! The fried grouper and shrimp combo also awesome. We also had one of the best chicken sandwiches around. This place did not disappoint, it was great and fun!

Great local spot. Friendly staff. We came for breakfast and were extreme amazing. I Had Country Benedict and wife had Southwest Benedict. Both were yummy. Had 4 option of mimosas to choose from. Watermelon and strawberry were very good. Had to go back for Rum bunch for lunch. Looking for to next time we are in the area.

This restaurant is very good, the food is very 😋 and the service is fast and good. We arrived at 7:00 PM it was full of people and it only took us 20 minutes. They have live music and tables on the sand near the beach 🏝 the truth is that this restaurant is very good to share with friends and families, I recommend it to everyone.

For our appetizer we had the chicken and cheese chips they were excellent! The grilled shrimp skewers, cheesy grits, and the sampler platter with fried shrimp, grouper fingers, and calamari were also very good. Great location on the beach, strong drinks (kind of pricey) but that is to be expected for waterfront property.

Amazing food, views, and company. This was my favorite ace we ate all vacation. The staff was really nice and dealt with the large family I was with well. The food was great and I enjoyed the baked clams immensely! If you're in the area stop in its relaxed and beautiful and the foods worth the trip!

After a 20 minute wait we were on our way to a fabulous night.From the friendly welcome from the hostess to our servers. This place was packed but we had no problem ordering our food. The crab my wife had was absolutely delicious. She just didn’t like the work to get to the crab. My brother and I had the Mahi-mahi which more than enough and grilled to amazing!Look at those huge shrimp. The were terrific.For the side dishes I would recommend the veggies and cheezie grits! Food and service was great. Recommended gator bites, DONE! Recommended shrimp and grits and red snapper DONE!!!! And they were spot on. Cheese grits by far best I have had. And the view of the beach topped it all off.

Excellent sea food with good on shore options. The setting is perfect. Live bands and well trained staff. Ability to walk out onto the beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset. No parking (had to pay $20 to park) and mashed potatoes could've been better but would still definitely recommend. Check them out.

Sat outside, by sand at sunset. Chante, our waitress was fabulous all around, her service skills to her eyes! Beautiful sunset. Had the 32 oz. Rum bucket drink, peel and eat shrimp and the salty crab combo to share. All were delicious! They serve breakfast on the beach here!! Definitely want to come back for that!

This is a great place for dinner, drinks, and live music. The outdoor seating is on the beach, with great views of the sunset if you’re there in the evening. Our server was friendly and did a great job of helping us pick the best items on the menu based on our likes/dislikes. The peach sangria is fruity and refreshing without being too sweet. I was impressed with how well the two seafood dishes I had were seasoned and cooked. The crab cake has a crisp, salty crust that compliments the creamy filling with sweet bites of crab meat. I had blackened grouper for my entrée, which was fresh, tender and moist. Both drinks and food are reasonably priced, especially considering the location. This is the place to go if you’re looking for great food and drinks in a fun, lively setting!

Sat outside on the beach on the picnic tables. Service was spot on. Drinks were very good. The food was amazing. Nice outdoor bar which is covered but still gives you that outside feel. Wait was not long for us but could be on the weekends. I had the grouper Mac and cheese and fries. Crab legs were cooked to perfection. Love The Salty Crab!!!! Oh the sunset there was most beautiful!!!!! Pics included. Must go!!!

Breakfast on the beach!!! Our first visit was our 25 anniversary and it was a great choice. We had the crab cake Benedict and the shrimp and grits, along with a Bloody Mary or two. The shrimp and grits is absolutely delicious. I’m a chef and this dish is always hit or miss. Most places I’ve tried, outside of the Deep South, cannot get this dish right. Here, it is delicious! It’s not spicy hot, but has the perfect amount of salt and spice. No additional seasoning needed. The crab cake Benedict could be improved with a real hollandaise. It’s still good, but I’ll stick with the shrimp and grits.The Bloody Mary is the best on the beach. Hands down. It’s not boozy and has plenty of flavor. And they’re $3. Better than any in Times Square.Parking- we paid to park at the Lee County run parking lot, to the right of Times Square. It’s $2 an hour. Cash or card. It’s a short walk to The Salty Crab from there.

We decided on dinner here for our anniversary! This ended up being a great choice! Our server was friendly and energetic! We were seated out on the sand area, and despite the cold and night sky, it was amazing! The food was awesome! We had crab and spinach dip and shared a shrimp Alfredo pasta dish! Our drinks were as yummy as the names of them made it sound! I would definitely recommend eating at the “Salty Crab” if you find yourself in the area! You will NOT be disappointed!

It was definitely an interesting experience. The food was very bland and dry or in the fishes case overcooked. The customer service was good. It has no parking so we paid and walked. I wish the experience would have been better.

I came into town Friday night and decided to stop here for dinner and watch the sunset. I was happy they had someone playing live music. The staff was all very friendly and I had amazing service from Alex! He made me feel welcome and took such great care of me even though I could see he was very busy. The food was pretty good. I came back Saturday morning and had the best bloody mary I've ever had and amazing shrimp and grits. I'll definitely be back to this spot when I come back to town.

Dinner with your feet in the sand, right on the beach! Salty Crab offers an excellent experience in every way! Food is a bit pricey, which you would expect for a restaurant right on the beach. For as busy as they can be, service is generally good!Wide variety of seafood options, and something for everyone on the menu, even if you're looking for other non-seafood options. Great drink options as well! Also an amazing spot to watch the sunset! We dine here often and highly recommend. Great spot to bring guests when they visit!

Delicious food and extremely accommodating staff. We had a large group, and we wanted to sit on the sand on the beach. One of the staff members suggested that we sit inside, because a storm was predicted to come through, and if we had to leave the beach we might not have a guarantee of any seat inside. Taking that advice we sat within the enclosable area and had an amazing time. Loved the cajun pasta!!

Lovely food offered right on the beach. Feet in the sand while you're eating some delicious seafood. Our waitress, Kelly, was so fun and quick to answer our questions about the menu. The music was a little bit sad sounding from a single guitarist guy who sounded like someone just broke his heart, but other than that, it was fun and delicious.

Beautiful location, phenomenal service, great food. Kelsey was wonderful. Very helpful & attentive, even with my dysfunctional family. She was truly amazing that even if everything sucked I would come back just for Kelsey. Definitely recommend buying one of their coconut drinks, can bring the coconut back anytime for a $5 refill right from the beach. Easy access. Don't let the wait scare you, definitely worth it. Will most definitely be back again & again.

Our family really enjoyed this beachfront, open-air restaurant. Our server, Emma, was sweet and helpful. The fish and chips (fries) were crispy and very flavorful (the fries were thick and so delicious!), but I wasn’t a fan of the flavor of the potato chips included in the entree. The kids’ meals portions were very generous too. We liked being right on the beach, instead of a street-facing restaurant, since the location gave it a nice ocean breeze in addition to the fun and energetic vibe.

First full day in Fort Meyers. We walked the beach in search of a bar/restaurant for lunch. After scouting out a few locations and we decided to visit the Salty Crab, and we hit a home run here! The atmosphere, food drinks and staff (especially our server Jodi) were all outstanding. Front row seat on the beach made our stay for lunch even more enjoyable. Our BBQ Oysters, Gulf Shrimp and Shrimp Nachos were all delicious. If you're in Fort Myers, you need to add a stop at the Salty Crab to your schedule. You won't regret it 🙂

The best food we had our whole trip! Service was nothing overly great, but we also came during a lunch rush, however, the food and drink made up for it. Gator app was cooked perfectly and the cool crisp avocado shrimp salad was just what I was looking for after being in the heat all day. Highly recommend.

We just had some beers and coctels. The bartender had a very large crowd to take care and she did so well, the location is fantastic right on the beach, I walk from the sand to the bar without shoes. Live music was good.
