Great resort right on beach with everything you need right on site. The room was clean, beds comfy, and plenty of toiletries available. Kitchenette allowed us to make breakfast daily in room and small but deep fridge held all our drinks and snacks for room easily. 2 pools on site helped the pools not get overcrowded, and resort also provided beach chairs at no charge as well as the 2 chests filled with sand toys was a nice bonus for my little guy. They also have BBQ grills on site and many families were taking advantage of them. Will definitely be returning!!!

My stay at Neptune was great! It was super nice, clean, and comfortable. I booked the room last minute on the fourth, because I had just planned to go to the beach for the day. I forget the name of the lady at the front desk working (she had red hair), but she was amazing and so friendly. She did everything she could to accommodate me when I checked in. I booked the room last minute and she made sure I got the best room she could give me that was available. It’s also in a great location! It’s right on the beach and has a huge beach front. It’s a close walk to a bunch of the bars and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here!

If you love the beach and/or the pool this is the place for you! My husband, son and I just stayed 6 nights and they were amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept. The room has been updated with tile floors and nice kitchenette. The staff is super helpful and courteous. If you are looking for a busy resort with a lot of bells and whistles do not consider this place. If you are looking for a beautiful ocean view, friendly people and low key resort please book!!!

Upgraded us to a better room because there was availability! We didn’t even ask! That’s service ! 2 pools to enjoy as well as the beautiful beach! Complimentary water in lobby along with a little snack section for purchase . Close to town and great little food shops and restaurants close too! Amazing views and each room has little efficiency. Staff friendly and kind . This was a day of reservation and it surpasses our expectations!

We have stayed at almost every place around here. We come twice a year or more. I like that they have outside entry, nice big pools. With nice grill area, outside. The small kitchens in the rooms are great with fridge. I would like a full mirror in room. So you can see what you look like before going out. Have to stand on the coffee table to try to see your outfit. Also couldn't find a trash can, but it's inside a cupboard. The price is good, so there's that. We will probably stay again. Oh and when we reserved a room it was one big bed. They gave us two small beds. Guess they didn't want me and my husband to sleep in the same bed. Wasn't a deal breaker. But it could of been.

Very nice. Pretty and well maintained grounds. 2 pools, shuffle board, grills and multiple seating areas. Walk right onto the beach with complimentary towels and lounge chairs. Our room was modern with nice tile throughout. The beds were comfortable. Small kitchen area with dishes, glasses, pans, strainer and cutting boards. There was a microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. Coffee isn’t supplied in the room but is available in the lobby. The bathroom was spacious and included a large closet area.Staff was friendly. Security guard walked the grounds.

Stayed one night about ten days before Hurricane Ian. Great place, right next to the beach. Outdoor pools and chairs are amazing. Lavazza coffee machine is a big plus. Although WiFi doesn’t work in our room, we enjoyed our stay at the beach. Hope this resort is not too damaged and no one got hurt.

I was in room 212 and I am attaching a pic to prove I stayed at the hotel September 2 through September 5.I was charged $25 a night for parking and I was charged $25 a night for it being a resort despite the fact that there are no umbrellas or loungers on the beach. These are old pictures on the website. No light comes in through the dirty windows. The rooms smell like mold and there is no fan and no AC in the living room. The pool is surrounded by a parking lot.The beach is a mile walk to the water.THERE ARE NO SUN UMBRELLAS IN AUGUST, IN FLORIDA, ON THE BEACH!The sun chairs look like $5 chairs from Big Lots. You need to request the chair and carry it yourself a mile down to the water. This is not a resort. Instead of reporting reviews and encouraging people to write fake reviews, the motel should reach out to the negative revieiwers and offer a solution.

Can't wait to go back... Right on the beach and close to many little restaurants to walk to in 5 min or less. The pool area was huge with shaded sitting areas that had cushioned lounge chairs and couches. There were plenty of complimentary beach lounge chairs too but it is self serve. The room I had was clean with tile and a mini kitchen so we did bring some food to have handy. We sat and watched a spectacular lightning show one night.

I was traveling with my registered service pet for which I had papers. The woman at the front desk repeatedly tried to deny the legitimacy of my ADA service pet while loudly discussing my medical issues in front of other customers and staff while reading my paperwork. She finally said it was fine. She then gave us the worst unit in the entire property (on the end and in the loudest busiest location). It did not feel like a hotel, rather a motel. It smelled terribly of bleach and made the stay unpleasant on that basis alone. The room was dirty and had a pair of kid's socks on the bed.My partner and I were quietly enjoying a glass of wine and beer on the patio with my dog. Meanwhile the unit above us was having an outrageous party with at least six to ten people. The security guard came running up and began yelling at my partner and I for being loud and when we said it was the unit above us, he said he could hear our voices clear across the parking lot and said we were drunk (which we were not). When we said we were not and how dare he make that accusation, he pointed at our hands with our drinks and said "Oh yeah, well what is that?" He continued to harass us as to imply at 11pm at night or whatever time it was that he was going to have us kicked out of the hotel and that we would need to answer to his manager. We then said we demanded to speak to his manager, which he said would not be in until the next day. I repeatedly asked that he leave us alone and go away as he was ruining the hundreds of dollars we paid for one night. He finally went upstairs and shut the party down that was making the noise. In the meantime, that party was pouring their drinks over the patio and onto us below (as he witnessed, and we have on video). We then went inside and the security guard came back and knocked on our door to which I asked for him to go away as we no longer wanted to talk to him and he was disturbing our night. He would not leave (we also have this on video). I repeated multiple times that I wanted him to go away and he was ruining our night and causing me extreme emotional distress from this harassment. This was one of the most abusive behaviors I have ever endured from a property where I PAID to stay. Don't bother complaining to Hotels.com either, because they will do nothing.

Hidden gem! We loved this place. Can’t beat the price compared to other places in the area. It was quiet and relaxing. The only issue is we had carpet missing in the room which made the bedroom door hard to shut. The rooms could be updated as well. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pools were nice and clean. Complimentary chairs for the beach. Free Cornhole boards as well. Great private beach, very few people there. Walking distance to just about everything. Overall satisfied. We would stay again.

The Neptune is a treasure. Super clean, great location (close to Times Square but not too close) beach is fabulous and was not crowded. The all of the staff (Especially Alexa, Brandy and Drew the guest services Manager are some of the nicest we’ve had the pleasure to meet and stay with. The variety of people staying here are all ages. Which was a delight in the middle if Spring Break.

The resort was great with to exceptions. The rooms need a air conditioning unit in the front room. The unit in the bedroom is not strong enough to cool the entire room. The second issue was the beach itself. There is a tidal pool that develops right in front of the resort. It is gross and smells horrible. Trying to get into the beach is an adventure because you walk through that muck. The staff is great. The pools are great. They have fun games by the pool. If you like collecting shells you will have a great time.

Have stayed at the Neptune a few times over the years and last week had another enjoyable stay. Not fancy, but right on the beach and with 2 pools it’s a great place to relax. Walk to all the bars & restaurants; very convenient as you don’t want to get stuck in beach traffic. There’s a beer & wine store across the street and a couple of good breakfast places right there too.

Absolutely amazing! The rooms and grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The staff could not be more polite and helpful, every single one of them. Most of the staff we meet have been working there for years. The resort is small (not like those giant chain hotels so you get way more personal service) and the location was perfect. Beautiful, charming, oceanfront resort.

The rooms are outdated , bathroom is extremely small. No mirror in main area. The biggest disappointment is no window in the room , just a side door 4” window (for a little light ) . Felt claustrophobic as room is small which is ok but no window !?!? Tried to switch rooms.but they were full and said their description of the room matched !?!? Never stayed at a hotel that had no window! So bizarre ! We did find a long hair in the bathroom and sheets smelled stale . In addition , this didn’t happen to us, but If you lose a beach towel, they will charge you $50. The towel is maybe worth $10 !

I really appreciated the proximity (the hotel is really adjacent) of the beach, made of very fine and white sand. Should also be nice to play here with children, as the water is not profound for several meters. I also really liked the pools, which are up to 2.6m deep. For the room itself, I would say that it was relatively good, but the bathroom was not really new. We really liked to have some wash machines available.

This hotel (motel, rather) is located at the beach. The beach is beautiful and calm but the Neptune doesn't have any credit in this. I don't understand the 4 stars given to this place. The rooms are so dark. The moment we entered, our vacation mood dropped and we became grumpy and depressed. The rooms felt so humide, no natural light coming in, and the rooms are so small. The online picture are very deceiving. We went to the reception and they gave us another room, that was bigger but even more filthy anf still sooooo dark.We had booked for 4 nights but left the day after. The worst thing is that the front desk could only say: "There will be no refunds, you've signed for this." Not even a "sorry" or "what was wrong? How could we improve our service in the future?" It just show that they don't care.We come from Europe and we're looking forward visiting the west coast. But this experience ruined it all. If they could put as much effort in cleaning the room as they did on using Photoshop this place could be betterAdvice: if traveling to the west coast of Florida rent a holiday house but don't go to an hotel.

The place itself is nice, but just don’t book through Neptune. Use an outside agency!! The hotel is VERY money hungry. When we arrived the hotel staffed offered to upgrade our room for $200. We went back and forth and decided to do it. When we left, we found out they charged us $600 for the upgrade. Managers refused to listen to our complaint, stating it was written on the form we signed. We reviewed the form and in very small print saw the part indicating it was $200 per night. So yes, we were wrong in signing it but it was also a very clear bait and switch technique to get us to agree to the upgrade. The beach and pool were great. Staff works hard to keep the place clean. It’s unfortunate that they have such poor management handling the finance portion of the hotel. It’s a nice place, but definitely not worth the rate they up-charged us for, and definitely not the customer service you would expect.

They don't accept medical equipment for my disabled mother. The layout was nice. The handicapped ramps are not accessible nor are they code compliant. It is in a good location. It has been repainted. It would be nice to have employees that know the facilities and the surrounding area. Don't get me wrong they were nice , but did not know the area

Really cute, clean, quiet motel right on the beach. The 2 pools are nice and the town square is a quick trolley ride or 15 minute walk. Highly recommended. On my second trip today, love this spot. Highly recommended.
