Very cute, well put together museum. It was rather warm inside but it’s small so it was easy to keep the time we spent in doors..Lots of facts. Something for all ages. Person at the desk was friendly. This is more of a one and done vs a membership museum. I would recommend for families of all ages.

Fantastic little museum/Marine science center with the most patient and kind guides running it. Currently, you have to call to make an appointment because they are understaffed until the end of August. But we did and it was totally worth it! My kids stayed and enjoyed for over an hour because everything is geared toward children being able to pick up and touch and interact with the vast majority of their exhibits. There is a touch tank and a scavenger hunt that the kids can do and they even let us watch them feed the moray eel! Highly recommend for kids even as young as 3.5.

What a wonderful experience. The time spent there and the tour was nothing that I had expected. Way over my expectations. The staff giving the tour were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly it was truly a great learning experience. I would recommend for any age. Learn about a part of Fort Myers Beach and Florida that most of us don't think about but do enjoy.

Wonderful, little educational experience! Our party, 4 adults and 5 children, really enjoyed this place. They pack many exhibits in their small space. I figure you'll spend 30 minutes to 1 hour there. Erin was an excellent guide. I highly recommend!

Excellent small marine center in Ft Myers Beach, FL. We checked out the interesting exhibits then took the Working Waterfront tour lead by the head of the center and the volunteer coordinator. We learned about the shrimping industry, the boats & current foreign competition. Then saw boats offloading their hauls, weighing the catch and loading it into freezer trucks for transport to market in Tampa. Also net makers in action, boats & outriggers under repair and various businesses that support the fleets. Highlights included local stories told by the tour leaders and delicious samples of Gulf pink shrimp. Thanks Joanne and Dan, we really enjoyed our visit!

We were able to take our 2 year old. She was a little scared to touch things by herself, but the lady took some starfish and horseshoe crabs out for us to look at. It was also inexpensive.

This is the best kept secret in Fort Myers Beach. A wonderful 3 hour tour and children are welcome. A very knowledgeable staff. Do not miss this. It is offered once a week.

Sharks in tanks the size of them that is terrible to see. Get bigger tanks for them they’re living animals! They are not objects!
