Our family rented Paws in Paradise, a lovely home in Cape Coral, FL, for our Christmas & New Year holiday. The home was a great retreat to relax and enjoy the lanai and heated pool. The home was very comfortable and the kitchen was WELL STOCKED! The property manager was very responsive on anything we needed too. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk or ride the provided bikes. They also thought of everything - pool noodles/toys, towels, etc. We would definite stay here again.

This was a deceptive advertising scam. Arriving at Fort Myers Beach on the coast was like entering a horror or war movie, the streets, houses and buildings are still totally devastated by the hurricane of September 2023.The hurricane covered the area 8 meters high with water.There is no inhabited house, all the buildings closed, all the first floors of houses and buildings are being rebuilt, there is no commercial place for many kilometers where you can buy a bottle of water.The only half-rebuilt building is the GullWing Beach resort, some apartments with balconies covered with wood, broken glass, patched structure, lobby under repair, etc.The surroundings full of cranes and people working which gave us a terrible feeling of insecurity.We wanted a summer atmosphere and we found the majority of the sector under reconstruction.In the building there were a couple of apartments occupied because there were 2 families, one in the pool that was recently fixed (because they had told us that the pool was under repair) and the other came from the beach walking.The issue is that we booked according to what the internet shows, but we were never warned about the true situation of the spa, 4 women arrived at an abandoned place and without any spa structure and security, it was a ghost place.I consider it deceitful and unethical to rent a place in these conditions, even more knowing that we come from 8000 km away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reef Of Paradise Beach House. The house was spotless on our arrival. The staff at Distinctive Beach Rentals contacted us on the first day we arrived to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and even left us a welcome gift! The house itself was beautiful with contemporary furnishings. The beds were very comfortable. It is only a house away from the grocery store and right across the street from the beach. The backyard is a vacation oasis with a nice pool that changes colors at night. Plenty of seating in the sun or out of the sun. We highly recommend staying here and the staff at Distinctive Beach Rentals could not be nicer!

This home is beautiful, new, private and quiet. The pool and hot tub area is excellent! We really enjoyed our stay and would go back!Be prepared to provide some of your own supplies such as extra toilet paper, laundry and dish washer soap etc.

Whatever you do, do not use this place. We rented months ago, a beautiful condo overlooking the gulf. They called two days before we were to arrive to tell us they were waiting for sliding glass doors even though they told us when we rented that the unit was available and being rented. They offered us an alternative next to the highway overlooking a pool for more money. Run as fast as you can. Do not rely on distinctive beach rentals for your vacation.

Distinctive Beach Rentals handle all the details and you get to enjoy your wonderful vacation.The home is close to all of the wonderful things to do within 1 mile of this home. We watched the dolphins swim in the canal beside the pool while we swam.I called Distinctive Beach Rental and they came right away to address my questions and made sure we had everything that we needed!! You can count on Distinctive Beach Rentals to ensure your vacation is idealic!!!

We (two Girls from Germany) had a wonderful week in May 2017 in the Caper Beach 212 booked with Distinctive Beach Rentals. The Apartment was directly at the beach with a wonderful view from the lanai to the pool and the beach. The complete condo was very clean and all was very comfortable that we felt like home. In the beginning we had some issues with the hot water and after we contacted the friendly office of DBR across the street somebody came along and repaired everything within one hour. This was a very good Service. We would always come back to this lovley condo and would recommend this Apartment for those of you who would like to visit Fort Myers Beach.

We stayed at 211 Palmero Circle. The property was clean and so spacious. There were 8 adults in our group so 2 kitchens worked out perfectly. The location was so close to Time Square and many restaurants too! The beach access was at the end of the street with a crosswalk. The unit had everything you need for the beach too, a wagon, nice foldable chairs and beach towels. Plus having a starter kit of soaps, toiletries was so convenient. The views out back were spectacular especially at sunset. We had a few questions/concerns for management and they replied very quickly. We even got a welcome call, which was a nice surprise. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Stay away if you have a vacation rental. I came to them and was sold a pipe dream about how often they'd have our property rented. In almost a year, they have 2-3 very short bookings and went from approx. $35k in revenue (annually) from my previous property management company to $827 with DBR. They (Haley Lewis) told me that they'd have the home rented up to 70% of the year. The AirBnb listing is literally impossible to search even with precise filters. How is someone supposed to rent off AirBnb if they can never find the listing? Because of their inability to get our property rented, i've been forced to list the home for sale. I'm stuck in a contract which prevents me from moving on. I hope no one else makes the mistake that I did.

We had an excellent vacation this past July 2020, The house was very clean, complete and the pool and view, breathtaking. Will definitely will be back and if not in the same house with Distinctive Beach Rentals for sure.!!

This home was beautiful inside. Outside had a warm pool with some pool toys! On the canal we could watch fish jump and go fishing. There is no fencing off the deck so beware if you have little ones. To get to the living areas you have to climb 2 flights of stairs, so those unable to climb stairs this house is not for you. Other than those two things the house itself was perfect, quiet area, great master bathroom, everything you need in a kitchen, clean and top condition. Distinctive beach rental easy to work with and very responsive. The house is in a great location on Fort Myers Beach, down from the crowds at the widest part of the beach with soft sandy beaches. It is only 2 blocks to the beach access, an easy walk. Trolley into town for an easy sightseeing tour. The home and the area was great for a family vacation to create many wonderful memories!

We had a lovely experience at this location. The upstairs balcony provides a beautiful view of the ocean. You literally walk outside your backdoor and are steps from the beach access. The beach is far enough away from spring breakers but we felt comfortable walking to Time Square (although this may be a long walk for some and can easily access the trolley 50 ft down the road). We highly recommend.

758-A Estero has a superb location. It has a classic beach house feel to it, and is literally on the beach. Don't expect Marco Island high rise granite and Viking. Clean and cozy. Loungers and beach chairs are available for your use, and are stored under the house. Decorated and furnished with roomy antique chests, which add to the beach house motif. My four star review is based on this being a beach house, not a modern condo. We loved every minute, with only a few exceptions:. Screens on the windows would have felt more comfortable keeping the windows open. I think those are coming, as I saw the owner putting up screens on the other side of this duplex. The beds are all way to soft for me, I woke up daily with a stiff back. Give me at least one firm mattress and I would have been fine. My wife loved the bed. The gas grill was operational, but could use replacement. Minor issues that will not prevent us from staying again.

We stayed at Bella Lago 7411, 423. It has a great master bedroom and bath, a nice second bedroom with a Murphy bed, and a small den area with a pull out sofa (no doors on the den area). The living room and dining room are spacious, and there is a decent sized kitchen. Our favorite room was the patio/lanai. It has a three panel glass door, for which two of the panels open, allowing you to hear the beautiful fountain. The bonus is that the area is screened in, so you don't have to worry about bugs. We had the doors of the lanai opened whenever we were in the condo. However, we weren't in the condo that much due to the great location. It is a very short walk to the nearby beach, or a short drive to Lover's Key. It can take a bit longer to get up to Times Square depending on the traffic/time of day, but the nearby beach is better anyway.The condo has crown lighting throughout, which is a really nice touch. There is also tile throughout the condo. There are beach chairs, a cooler with wheels, a beach umbrella, and other useful items in the laundry room. The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, plates, silverware, pots, and pans. We left a few items behind for the next guests, too. The master shower is very large with a small bench built in for sitting or shaving legs.We did have a few cons.1. The shower in the second bathroom has low water pressure (my kids just mentioned this to me).2. There is no parking in the garage for the rental, which means we had to park out front. This is not a problem, except there is no control on who parks out front. Therefore, we had to park at the next building a few times. Truly not a big deal.3. There was not enough dish washing detergent, paper towels, or toilet paper, to last our entire stay (nine days). While they warn of this in the welcome packet, it would be nice if they could spring for the extra $5 to have it better stocked.4. The bed in the master bedroom has a SERIOUS slump on the side closest to the window. It is as if there are no springs in that side. However, we didn't report this until our check out, so I don't know if it has been replaced.All in all, it was a wonderful place and we would definitely stay there again (provided the master bed has been replaced).

We had a great stay at 4050 Estero Blvd! House is very comfortable and well stocked. Beds are comfy. Beach is wonderful and sunsets are beautiful. Lots of space for 6 people – 4 adults and 2 kids. Close to town. Sun porch was awesome to sit and watch people walking on the beach – even saw some dolphins! Extra area for kids to play. We would definitely come back and use Distinctive Beach Rentals. Everyone we talked to was extremely helpful. Thanks for a great family week!

We stayed at 295 Mango Street for nine nights. The house itself is lovely, with modern interior, nice beds and fresh bathrooms.+pros+Space for a family of eight+Modern appliances (a lot of space in the fridge)+Modern AC system with integrated temperature controls+Free high speed internet access+Free local phone calls+Wonderful pool with an admirable environment surrounding it+Access to a hose outside the house to wash off after the beach+Location is king! Seven minute walk to the beach making it possible to go home whenever+Amazing beach supplies including kids toys and eight beach chair and an umbrella-cons-No way from the main part of the house to the pool without going outside (no stairs leading directly to the pool area from inside)-broken ceiling fan in the smallest bedroom-a couple of small holes in the net surrounding the pool (nothing really noticeable)With all of that said you probably realize that this is the perfect place to bring your family for a get away. This house is delightful and you won't be disappointed.

We are 4 couples and this is our 4th time renting a vacation home in Fort Myers Beach. This home had more room than any other weekly rental we have had.Upon entering, there is a split staircase. Down to the game room & pool or up to the bedrooms.The downstairs housed the game room, which was fun for all. There were plenty of toys and floats for the pool. The hot tub had its own remote and was easy to use. The one downfall, there isn’t a bathroom downstairs with the pool (which I understand is not permitted with new or renovated homes)The second floor has two queen bedrooms with balconies overlooking the street and a great room with the kitchen, dining room and living room. The arrangement of the great room makes it convenient for everyone to hang out together. The windows aren’t covered in the great room and there is a beautiful view of the canal. The balcony off the great room runs the length of the house and has a patio dining -table.The third floor has two more queen bedrooms with balconies overlooking the street and the master suite. The master suite has a large balcony and access to a sun room (windowed in) that overlooks the canal and gives breathtaking views of the sunsets. The master bathroom is huge with a large claw-foot bathtub and an oversized walk in shower.A big plus for us was that each bedroom had its own bathroom and there are two laundry rooms located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The layout of the house is very accommodating.We prefer to stay at the north end of the island where we have easy access to the beach and restaurants, and this home was perfectly situated.The house was immaculately cleaned and well stocked with towels, linens, pillows; the kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans and many small appliances. We cook 4 of the 7 nights, the only thing missing was a deep frying pan.We had a minor issue and contacted management, and they responded within hours and were very courteous and efficient.We were all looking forward to staying at this luxurious home – and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

We, my husband, my mother and I, rented ten days through Distinctive Beach Rentals, Inc., at Admirals Bay on Ft Meyers Beach. We got a condo through them after we had difficulties with VRBO, which we have used in the past. The process was easy, the personnel professional and polite, and the unit on Island Pine Way (across Estero Blvd. from the Wyndham Gardens Hotel), was perfect for the three of us with lots of linens and kitchen supplies and a lovely lanai. Be aware that they have a late check in of 4:00.

The house and location were ideal, Apollo Beach is beautiful. The neighborhood was safe and well maintained. The house obviously was not cleaned prior to our stay. It likely was after the previous guests, but with an extended vacancy in between guests, it should have been touched up. There were dead bug carcasses throughout, and live ants and centipedes everywhere. There was a large green frog inside the kitchen upon our arrival. Under the couches and tables, the floor was filthy! I dropped my chapstick and found a Jenga block and coloring book page that had obviously been there for months. For this rental price, we have always had Toilet paper, trash bags and laundry soap. One roll of toilet paper-single ply and extremely poor quality was the extent of it. Remote batteries for all tvs were dead. There was a sock on top of our ceiling fan motor!!We are looking for a good property management company and will not be considering this one.

We loved this home. It was in absolutely the perfect location on Estero Island. Far enough away from the noise and bustle, but close enough to walk. Distance to the beach is perfect. Great wifi/tv services. Comfortable beds and a great neighborhood. We can wait to stay here again.
