I absolutely love the new team of workers here and truly enjoy visiting this store. As a former District Manager in retail, they have a lot going for them. This store over the last few months has been turned around. They're always working to stock new items and will stop what they're doing to help a customer find something. The shelves are always neatly recovered and fronted and they always take the time to ask customers how they're doing. I drive past the store in Bowling Green just to stop and shop in Fort Meade. Gold star 🌟 in my opinion.

So glad our little town finally got this store. I just recently moved back home after a long absence. This is a nice store. Usually well stocked and organized. The employees are friendly and helpful. And its so much better for a quick trip than the 20 or more minutes to other stores around the area.

The staff at this location are amazing!! The CSR, Rodney, is always so helpful with anything I need assistance with. He is always going the extra mile for me and my family and it means so much. Tanja ( Sissy) is amazing also! She always has a smile on her face and is extremely kind to everyone. She always helps me and is always making sure my visit is pleasant. She is by far one of the best employees as well as Rodney 😁The entire staff is amazing also, they are always working hard and always so kind. They are reorganizing the store and each time I come in they one of are all working so hard and I never see them just standing around. Each and every employee is constantly working diligently and quickly to have everything in order. I am so thankful for all of them and love to shop here. They really are a great bunch and I highly reccomend them 😁

The aisles are always jammed full with boxes needing to be shelved so don't bother getting a cart because you usually can't use it. The lines are horrible. Two employees will be slowly stocking and mostly talking while one cashier tries to handle all of the customers in line. Since it is the only place in town to buy anything I guess customer service isn't really important. They do have most items that you would need if you weren't wanting to leave town, just be prepared to wait.

Best Dollar General store and employees around. Always well stocked. They need more help badly. They are too over worked. They are always friendly and smiling for their customers though. Thank you for the Ft Meade, Florida location and Frootproof store.

place looks great. They seem to only like to have one cashier on the clock. spent 15 mins in line .... there had to been like 10 -12 people in line. You can tell people were upset but kept their mouth shut because it wasn't the cashiers fault.

The cashiers are friendly, but management is awful. Poor job scheduling. There is almost always a super long line. This is the second time we have had to put our items back and leave because it took so long to checkout. Seriously understaffed and putting way too much pressure on the cashiers who do come in to work. It's losing them customers and money.

It's quite obvious that the store manager has no clue how to create a friendly work environment and it is reflected by the services received. I have been managing people for 30 years and I know what I'm experiencing. Will drive to bartow or Frostproof before going back to a store that is so terribly managed.

Very glad to have this store. They really need more help tho...Everone is always very busy. They really need someone hired just to put up stock. Most times isles are over crowded. Little more help could solve that problem. Very friendly place to shop.

Waits to check out are exceedingly long. You will spend more time checking out than shopping. Tonight this place had 20 people in line with one cashier available it sucks unbelievably!!

Generally always a good experience. It's'close, convenient, excellent prices & full of what i need whether it's food or other merchandise including clothing, cards, paper items, kitchen utensils, children's books, coloring books for women & children plus multiple gift items.

Enjoy shopping at the store in Fort Meade where I live by, but they rarely have any food in their refrigerators and freezers!!Extremely slow to restock microwave or quick dinners....... Also slow to restock the Mountain Dew / Pepsi products!!!!

This store is really too small for this town. A DG Market woyld do much better, Food is alwys wiped out amd always a long line. BUT the associates are friendly.

Had a good rating but one person on the staff ruins it for the whole store. Randy is not very helpful and is rarely seen doing anything except smoking cigarettes on the phone out front of the store

You need to have more cashiers available for when there is a rush. Standing in line for 20 mins while one cashier checks out 30 people is extremely frustrating.

This was a good Dollar General. The isles were well stocked and organized and the staff were friendly. 👍The layout of the store was a bit cramped, but it's still a good store.

Aisles were blocked with carts of merchandise. I would have purchased other items but couldn't get around the store. Shelves needed to be stocked.

Stock is always stacked in theaaisles and you can't get down them. Would rather drive the 15 miles to frostproof without the obstacle course

The closest place to a grocery store in Fort Meade. Under new management. They are doing a good job cleaning up and organizing this community grocer.

Well first of all the store had carts of unloaded merchandise sitting throughout the store, they had two cashiers but the line was half way through the store ,the store was messy and unorganized, and I went last weekend to get eggs they were eggs busted in some of the cartons and egg was all over the fridges glass doors and on the inside of the fridge ,but I didnt buy nothing today what I was going to buy I put it back when I saw that line, sorry but this store needs help.

This Dollar General seems to be the only one where you spend more time waiting in line to pay then what you do actually shopping
