A great Whole Foods Market store. My first time in this store and I am well impressed. Great location for anybody in the yachting industry, super convenient. In-store parking. Good size wine Dept with a big organic wine selection, even my favorite Stellar Organics Pinotage..awesome bakery section to.

The salad and hot food bar are the most extensive that I have seen at any Whole Foods in the south Florida area. The menu selection ranges and there are a number of hot food items for vegetarians/vegans. The covered parking garage (no charge if you are shopping) is also helpful to get in and out of the store.I especially appreciate the dining area where one can enjoy their hot meal, wine/beer, and or coffee. The area is very clean, spacious and their are several tv monitors to even catch a game. Great for individuals, couples or families. Even students can use the wi-fi while getting work done. Such a plethora of choices especially if looking for healthy options in the area. It’s economical too without paying almost triple in overhead prices at restaurants in the area. Great organic selection and the sushi and pizza sections are also worth checking out.

We had a mashup of dishes from the buffet. I tried the lasagna, veggie rice, cauliflower and a spicy chicken. My husband had spaghetti, salmon, veggies and spicy chicken. The pairing of flavors worked well.Whole Foods Market is a fave of ours. Always fresh, always clean. Customer service is always on point, as well.If traveling north on US1, you’ll find them on the north west side of 17th st.

GREAT EXPERIENCE Every employee I spoke to was knowledgeable kind and you can tell they liked working there. A couple of employees actually came up to me twice to see if I had questions or needed help. The food selection is fresh, good appearing, and, of course, wholesome.

When this store first opened (2+ yrs?) it was THE model. Lots of friendly staff, super well stocked shelves and display cases in every dept, and a dream to shop due to selection and check out speed. Now, not so much. A quick noon visit on a recent Sunday resulted in so little available stock in the produce dept we left after not finding 3 of the 5 items we came in for. A visit the following Sunday wasn’t much better. Tons of empty shelves and cases in produce, pre-cut fruit that wasn’t ripe and therefore tasteless and so little staff at checkout we waited over 20 minutes to pay while several associates hung out behind the Customer Service counter, doing their best to look cool. While the prepared food area was nicely stocked that was only a portion of our customer experience that day. Appears Management is struggling to maintain the WF standards while the area around this well placed location is booming.

Beautiful store. New, clean, organized, big, well stocked. Oh and did I say clean? Everything was spotless, from the shelves, to the hot bar, to the bathrooms. Employees were nice and we found almost everything we were looking for (two items were out of stock, but they are hard to find). Will definitely come again

Extremely wide aisles. Enormous indoor parking garage attached to store. Huge selection of prepared foods. Best sushi of any local supermarket (& better than most restaurants, too). Great holiday menus, gifts. Seafood department is awesome. Ignore the prices or shop elsewhere, seriously.

Very big store and clean. Good wine selection. The meat section and the bakery look good. The salad bar and other ready to eat foods looked delicious! I was only there for wine and snacks because I’m on vacation here but if I lived here I’d go back and try other things.

As long as you don't have a problem that forces you to interact with the management, you can have a good experience. I've been going here for a couple years, and there's only 1 good manager I've interacted with, the rest could care less about your problem and make you feel like your complaining at a McDonalds, ,even if you're just asking questions. The food bar both hot and cold are nice. The fresh produce doesn't get replenished as quickly and is sometimes barren, but rarely empty. The overall attitudes I've received from management have made me less inclined to go there over the years, and now I'm a 50/50 on there vs Publix. Would be great if they could get back to where they used to be.UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: As directed, I went to the website to provide feedback. There's nothing except a phone number. I tried calling and chose the option #2 to give store feedback and it transferred me to an automated message that kept repeating, "your number cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again".I guess I'm going to take the 3 star rating and lower it to a 2 star rating if your feedback actually took up more of my time and got me no where. At this point, I just go to that store for anything I can carry but will goto the Publix for my regular shopping.

I have been to two Whole Foods locations: Aventura and Miami. By far, the Fort Lauderdale is DEFINITELY my favorite location. The parking is easy to access and lots of spots available. The supermarket is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This location is always well stocked. Everything is organic and locally sourced. Great variety of produce, butchery, self-serve foods, fromagerie, bakery etc. Plus, their vast array of the prepared foods section are a lifesaver for busy days. One thing I especially love about Whole Foods is that they ban chemicals that don’t belong in your food, such as preservatives, dyes, MSG, high fructose corn syrup, and lots more. Plus, their commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices are commendable. This supermarket exceeds expectations! Whole Foods sets the standard for excellence in grocery shopping. 🛒 💫

I am very unhappy with whole foods. Most people don't check the expiration dates on things and I missed checking too many times. Today I bought a lime cake that was expired. I'm very dessapointed because it keeps happening. Things are not freshed . Please see this picture. The bakery and food are expired most of the times or will expire on the following day (meaning it's not freshed). Today is the 25th. And the cake expired yesterday..meaning it's been sitting there for 5 days...

I'm shopping in whole foods since 2010. Not really shopping, having lunch and dinner at the buffet. It's got much more expensive but I still do it almost every day. I was eating in West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Miami and more places and always know that I will have excellent choice of tasty ingredients for creating my own meal. Strangely the whole foods on 17th and us1 is very different from all others. There's no beef at all, chicken and pork are not tasty, there are no salads with avocado and other delicious options that I love so much. It's the only location that made me start cooking at home. Besides the silverware distributor machines never work. Looks like the manager wants to close the food court and do something more interesting.

Love this place. About a 10 minute walk from the Crowne Plaza Ft Lauderdale ( where we were staying), this super-market had all we needed, Love the idea of buying hot( or cold ),prepared foods,of all types, which is paid for by weight, plastic or cardboard containers provided. There are also a couple of microwaves, cutlery, and an area to sit and eat.

Love YourSelf = Love Your Mind, Body and Spirit. For the body (skin), I Love the skin I AM in and wash and shower daily with activate charcoal soap. Great prices on the Pasha brand and whole foods brand. I receive many compliments from Goddesses as to how soft and tender my touch feels.

We spend $500 a week at Whole Foods but the quality drops constantly. They keep exchanging good organic brands with 365 Amazon stuff which have really not a great quality (even our cat doesn’t eat the organic chicken breast from 365 we tried twice!)One more example: They put our favorite organic ginger glass shots in a dark corner and put 365 in plastic bottles on the top shelf. (Same price)Also: Since some time I missed Starkey Water which we all loved. I wanted to buy it somewhere else but found out it is also an Amazon brand which is now banned because of incredibly high arsenic levels. I will put the link below… in general only 20% of the food is organic…are there better alternatives? Real organic supermarkets?

On more than one occasion I have had cashier Maty as my check out clerk and I always greet them with a “hello”. Maty never responds to me and won’t even look in my direction, very strange behavior and obviously intentional. I don’t expect a conversation, just common courtesy. Maybe they should be stocking shelves instead of working in a customer facing position like checkout clerk.

Love staff and store. But customers, really???? Last time I came ALL of the hc parking spaces were taken by people who are NOT handicapped. Like in places like Publix or WD: they sit in their cars, motor running and wait for "friends" to come back from shopping. One was even an Uber.... if you ask them to leave, you get honked by people who are coming up in garage and the "offenders" just stare at you, roll up the window and that's it. Shame on you my NOT so "friends"!!!!
