I have been going to Victoria park paw spa for about 4 years now. I used to drive from pompano to downtown Fort Lauderdale for my dog’s hair cut (talk about high maintenance)! I used to do this happily, because after searching long and hard I found Victoria Park paw spa and they truly give the best cuts for doodles. Terri is the best she listens takes her time and is dedicated to her craft, it shines through every time. The icing on the cake is Adrienne, taking her photos that make your pup look like a star. I can’t recommend them enough, especially if you have a dog with a higher maintenance hair schedule. If you have a doodle you know it can be devastating getting a bad hair cut but never once has one of my boys left with a subpar hair do.

Under the guise of “de-matting” our pet was left in pain and extremely tense. Her skin in her private area and down her rear legs was raw. For nearly a week, she jolted and was in discomfort. After 4 nights of little sleep and no improvement, we took her to her vet. Victoria Park Paw Spa has not been responsive to this situation and has thus far avoided accountability. Beware and check your pets closely.

I’ve been taking my 20lb Shih-poo here since I moved to Florida late last year. Not only do they always do a fantastic job, the team is friendly and professional! My dog is a senior pup with sensitive skin and ears, so I really love the convenience of having his groomer connected to his vet. They always know what is going on with him and keep an eye out for his health too.

I have brought my dog, Bruno to get groomed every month or so. Terri does a fantastic job every time! He feels comfortable with her and always looks and smells great when I pick him up. He’s always so happy! I found the perfect groomer for Bruno since he has to have the best!

AMAZING. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I was TERRIFIED to get my puppy her first haircut because of all the horror stories from family members and their pups. I told Victoria Park Paw spa how nervous I was and told them I just didn’t want her to be a bald or disproportional. They had the groomer come and talk to me and walked me through what she was going to do. I also stuck around for a bit before dropping her off and was able to see just how gentle and loving they are when they groom the dogs. The groomers are so patient with the dogs and really go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. The receptionist even plays with the other dogs while they’re in the doggy waiting room to be picked up! I truly believe they treated my puppy like their own. All the employees even call all the pups by their names by memory, the dogs aren’t just a number on an assembly line. Not to mention her haircut was FANTASTIC!!!!! Lainey also LOVES the groomer and gets so excited when we show up, which just proves how good they are with her! She sees it as a treat to go to the pet spa! Would recommend 10/10 a million times. I’m so happy I finally found a great groomers for my golden doodle. Not only do they give her the best hair cuts she’s ever gotten, but the staff is also so attentive and pay great attention to detail. They take the time to discuss what we want before hand and even call throughout the service to make sure everyone is on the same page concerning the service. Most importantly my dog comes home happy and not distressed so I know she’s being taken care of. I couldn’t recommend this place enough especially for hard to groom doodle breeds.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. They wouldn’t trim my dogs nails after hours of waiting. They will go through every vet record possible for a nail trim. My dog has 5 pages of vet records and is 1.5 years old. Apparently I was a week late on some shot and they won’t trim nails. Be prepared with documents over anything.

I have been taking my Wheaten Terrier to Victoria Park Paw Spa for Day Care and Grooming for over a year now. He is in great hands with Adam, Adrian, and the rest of the team too, of course, at day care, and he couldn’t be more excited when I drop him off! I also love his grooms by Terri - he always comes home handsome and happy after. Would definitely recommend.

My dog just had her first bath and haircut here. Adam was really helpful in letting me know the options and I love her new look. She smells delicious, too! I've never had a groomer do this well on her nails. We'll be back.

I'm very satisfied with my pup's new look :-)He's always had a white mohawk on top of his head, which is a different color than the rest of his head, which is black.I was informed this groomer could add color to his mohawk, which I've always considered , (but PAST services ELSEWHERE, was told I'd have to buy the coloring separate at a pet store ... but since I was fine with the mohawk being white, I didn't take the extra step at that time.)Well not this time! They had coloring available right at the Spa!! He looks amazing ... and he smells great too! :-)

I have been taking my bernedoodle to Victoria Park Paw Spa for grooming for over a year and more recently to daycare as well. When I first came for a groom I showed them pictures of what I wanted and they executed perfectly. Since then, every time she has been back they are extremely consistent. As far as daycare goes, my pup could not be more ecstatic to get dropped off. She loves Adam and is always happy to go. I recommend everyone to try Victoria Park!

This is one of the best pet spas/groomers I have ever brought my baby to! Everyone is so friendly and nice! Our baby always comes home looking and smelling amazing! I love this Place. And I’m pretty sure my Puppy loves it too!Got my puppy to his first grooming when he was about 4months old. He is a Cavapoo and almost a year old now. Haven’t have any issues at all and they always leave him super handsome!!. Pictures speak by they selves (before and after).

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We currently are new in the South Florida area and when I saw how VPS was around the corner I didn't think twice about it! When I dropped my 1 year old Goldendoodle Beau, I felt very calm and trusted that I would come back to a perfectly groomed boy, thanks to their communication and hospitality! We are now regulars and we love Terri's (groomer) magic hands as well as appreciate Adam (manager) for always communicating with me and keeping me posted when he is with them getting groomed. Once again LOVE THIS PLACE!

I've been bringing my frenchie here for a year for grooming, which does NOT include cutting any hair, so basically they give him a bath express his anal glands trim and clean his ears and cut his nails. last time, he weighed 40.3lbs this time, he weighed 41lbs, and they said he's in a new price range and upped the price $10 from his usual price. Not only that, the rude lady told me to feed him salads, so he loses weight. now my frenchie is taller and longer than most, so he's not the fat looking frenchie many are used to seeing. In fact, the Dr says he's in amazing condition and that I should keep doing what I'm doing for him.. well, what I won't be doing is bringing him back here for grooming ! to charge me more because he went up .7 oz in weight when it takes less time and effort to groom him, unlike a long-haired dog, tells me you're just greedy. you only grind 2 of his nails on each paw and leave the others untrimed. I should have stopped coming when your groomer let him fall off the table, and I heard him yelp, which you denied.. I will continue to bring him to the awesome vet side of this business, but it's time for a new groomer

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS GROOMING STORE. On June 5th, 2023, My dog was mistreated by this grooming store.I picked up my dog, and when I arrived home, I noticed he had a cut and blood on his tail. When I called to inform the situation and asked what had happened and why I wasn't informed. The front desk person's response was extremely rude. She said, quote: “I didn't see any blood when you picked him out. There is nothing I can do for you unless you bring your dog” It was 4:15 pm when I called, and they closed at 5 pm. I explained to her that I couldn’t make it on time, and I had a picture that I could e-mail and she responded: “ I don't do anything with a photo. I asked for the manager and to have her phone number. She dropped my call to her voicemail. After this incident, I called several times, but no one answered.

We’ve always trusted Dr. Birken, on the veterinary side of the business. This week, we took our dog in for the pet grooming. We are very happy and impressed with the outcome. On Friday afternoon we arrived with a shaggy dog and 4 hours later, Sydney Lee, was a beautifully groomed dog.Adam and Terri took great care of Sydney Lee - trimmed nails, and a cut that compliments her body; we are very happy with the results and have plans to return on a regular schedule.For us one of the important aspects of the visit is that Adam and the team know our dog from previous visits to the veterinary side so we had full confidence that our dog was in good hands!

I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. I have provided pictures, have spoken to techs and groomers, and they take notes and pictures themselves and yet I pick up my little maltipoo and they never seem to groom her like I ask. Every time I bring her, she leaves with a different type of cut. Incredibly frustrating for what they charge! I’ve also had to bring her back as they forget to trim her nails a few times as well. And now today, my baby is licking her paw and it looks as though they may have nicked her in between one of her paw pads as it is red and irritated. They constantly leave her legs too long and thereby I’m always battling matting. I’ve asked countless times to trim her legs and paws shorter to avoid matting and especially in the heat of Florida summer. Then they charge extra for matting on the legs! Im beginning to think they leave the legs longer on purpose! Today’s $70 grooming put me over the edge. I also have left their vet practice as well because of similar lack of attention. I don’t really leave bad reviews much, but I think this is warranted. Find a groomer who is smaller, owner-operated and able to provide better attention and care.

I have been taking my little shih tzu to daycare here since Jan 2021. She had just been spayed and was just about 6 months old, and only weighing 10 lbs. She is having the time of her life at daycare. She barks to enter the building every morning. The staff here really loves her (and acts like it). At first, I was afraid to use their grooming services too, as I wanted to keep daycare as just a "fun" place. I was determined to remain loyal to my long- time groomer. However, after the last time I had her groomed, I tried to do her nails on my own in-between grooms. She had always been letting me do it--we worked on it as a puppy in training. However, this time, she was not having it. So....I asked the folks at the paw spa if they could do a nail trim. Turns out they have a hammock like I've seen on social media, and my dog thinks she's relaxing on the beach while she gets her nails done. Thank you Adam, Adrian, Jordan, Trey, Terri and Corbin. Because of you guys, Starla is living her best life!

Took my foster fail, special need pup in today for the first time. My current groomer moved out of state and I have been stressing 😬 about finding a new groomer. I reviewed some of Terri’s( groomer) pictures of current customers and was impressed. I called to make the appointment and we discussed at that time what my expectations were, going over my pups ”special needs”. When I dropped him off today I was met by the Manager Adam and he assured me. Terri spoke to me again going over our plan. The spa followed full covid business procedures which was also a big relief.- my husband is comprisedMidway through the appt Terri text me to assure me Buddy was doing great! I picked him up and was so pleased with his groom! Just what we wanted!! I'm glad that I found Terri and the spa. Adam was also great , met me upon my return. We found our new groomer and will be back!!

Adam and team always provide excellent service whenever he comes in whether it is for grooming, daycare or boarding. I know I will have a stress free trip because they keep me updated along the way. Terri took my little buddy on short notice. Not only did she squeeze him in but made him look fabulous!! Buddy is a foster fail so not very trusting. He wagged his tail the whole time we were chatting and paying. Makes me feel good knowing he’s happy when I leave. Don’t go any where else. He actually enjoys going to get groomed.

Their service has gone downhill since Covid dropping off pet to pick him back up and literally having to cut my dogs hair take him to another facility to have his nails done having to give him a bath because he literally smelled very dirty after picking him up from grooming since the middle of 2021 I have had more problems with Victoria Park pet spa not grooming properly not trimming the dogs nails charging me more money for services they did not perform to just before the holidays them canceling appointments because a groomer did not show up for work but getting put off for a week or two weeks before they could fit my dog back in and today was the final straw for this facility had an appointment at 10 o’clock received a phone call at 9:12 AM telling me that I missed my appointment and it would be next week before they could fit me in. They do have an app the only thing that it shows is that my dog had an appointment for today you could not get them on the phone but they had no problem picking up a phone to call an hour early and tell me that I missed my appointment. Three people witnessed the time that was given for 10 AM on Tuesday morning 3/15/22 as well as the phone call was recorded but to receive a phone call at 9:12 AM telling me that I missed my appointment I’m literally done with this place you cannot get a manager to talk to you no one wishes to take care of any of the problems caused by their staff not for sure what has changed but extremely horrible service all my friends who recommended me to Victoria Park animal Hospital have also left this facility to find another veterinarian and grooming service and said the quality has gone downhill rapidly. Strongly advise take your pet somewhere else who knows what goes on behind the scenes

I just moved from NY and took my mini bernedoodle to get a much overdue groom. He had several matted areas and I explained to the groomers that he was suffering in the heat so I wanted his hair short but not shaved. The groomers texted me while they were working on him to let me know how they were handling his matts and recommended a better brush to use. The groom was quick and they texted 20 min before he was ready. My bernedoodle looked perfect and they even put a I ❤️ NY tie on him. Overall extremely pleased and will come back as a regular client.

I love this place. They do a great job on deshedding Lola, my GSD. The staff is friendly and it's the nicest and cleanest pet spa in downtown. Jesse, our groomer is wry professional and always gives us the best advice on what services are needed and is so great with all the animals who come and visit the spa. Very satisfied and would recommend to ALL!
