This is a great place, so well organized and everyone is so friendly. We bring our mini Australian shepherds Tango and Marley and they come out so clean and fluffy. They also do teeth cleaning which is great for our older dog. We highly recommended coming here for grooming.

Amazing people here. Our Frosty looks absolutely pampered!!! They did an amazing job and sent my boyfriend off with some great advice. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. You can't please everyone. This is a school after all, you need to be patient and accommodating as well to be able to receive this discounted service. If you have a difficult and specific breed that requires a complicated and intricate cut or if you're super picky then hire a professional groomer and don't be cheap. Merryfield is absolutely worth it, work with them and they'll work with you. So many entitled people in this comment section. I've been in customer service management and hospitality for years tho so I'm not surprised. Thanks Merryfield!!! Frosty loved his spa day and we'll see you next time!!Simone and Ricardo Perez

Definitely an amazing and clean place. Everyone was very professional, caring and knowledgeable. I took my Yorkie Terrier in for his very first dental cleaning and he came out perfect, relaxed and happy.

I loved the work done on my Coco. However, I was unhappy with the gentleman who took my pink paper. I arrived for an 8:15 p.m. pick-up. The gentleman greeted me at the door took the paper and that was it. I was standing at the door for some time with no update. After a while, a few more customers came for pick up as I sat I noticed their pets were coming out. I asked the gentleman "Excuse me where is my dog?" he said very rude She's not done would you rather take her undone? I said no but I received no update and I've been waiting here. He said she had a lot to comb through she had a lot of matted hair. I understand but my thought is to Communicate with your customers! Things would have gone differently if he said. "Coco will take 20 minutes more she's not done" instead of having a conversation with a co-worker and seeing me stand up for 15 mins. For this, I won't go back. This was my first time and I was recommended but I won't be returning. I rather pay more to have BETTER customer service.

I brought my golden-doodle here for grooming. I asked the groomers to only cut half off. They proceeded to say okay, and which I thought nothing would go wrong. When I came to pick my golden-doodle up, I was devastated at what they had done to my dog. I come to see her almost entirely shaved and looking like the cut I did not want to see her. After this grooming, I had noticed some terrible behavioral actions that was unusual. (She had never done these actions before) Back at home, I had realized there was something going on with her ear. (which she had never had before, she was perfectly fine before the grooming) Where she would be screaming, in pain. With my experience, these groomers have caused terrible problems with my dog and I do not recommend this. Now I have to take my dog back to the vet for this. Can’t believe I paid 50$ for this.

They take care of your dog with love, and they do great job at grooming your pet to your liking. Very satisfied with Merryfield grooming.Update!! I wrote this review 4 years ago have been a regular. Well today I had an appointment and had to cancel for emergency purposes. The person in the other end was so rude and hung up the phone twice on me. I tried calling to ask why would you do that and he hung up again and stated I was harts him. How do you harass someone that hung up the phone in your face? I swear I’m appalled I did absolutely nothing wrong but called to reschedule and that’s the customer service I get for being a regular and loyal. After the change over of management there has been a real change and it’s not for the better l. Be aware of this place and there customer service. Thanks to the first management that’s was caring and kind to us. I’m good will no longer use their service. Do not go here if customer service is what you’re looking for it no longer exist here.

The prices are comparible to other professional dog groomers in the area yet they are using your dog to train students. That combined with the owner’s unprofessionalism and rudeness made me move on to a better alternative. Oh and they have a real issue following instructions o gave then on my dog’s grooming. They got it right once out of the 6 or 7 times I used their services. Do yourself a favor. Go to a profession dog grooming service and pay the extra $10 or $20! The professionalism and quality grooming is worth it!

I literally loved this place so much until they wanted to BAN us for speaking the truth. Banning a dog how had absolutely nothing , they told us to get some shots done and do some check ups on our dog so we went to the vet and did that to come back to this place and to realize that we were banned bc of speaking the truth and defending our dog honestly not the best place to go especially because they are not understanding at all for any circumstances whether it’s defending your dog when they say something offensive or just speaking the truth and it’s very frustrating !!!

Shaved my border collie's coat wayyyy to short. It is universally known to not shave border collies and dogs with double coats. They messed him up and are obviously not teaching the students correctly how to groom specific breeds. Will never be going back.

I have been going here for two years now. My dog weighs just under 20 pounds and we have always paid $25 for the cut which we are grateful for. I just brought my dog back recently for a cut and the new price is $30 which is fine but one of the managers there told the girl who was writing my ticket up to charge me $40 which left a very bad taste in my mouth. Don’t Just charge me what you want, charge me for the size of my dog, the same sized dog all along. Also, my dog was just groomed 6 weeks ago, so the hair wasn’t long at all meaning it wasn’t any extra work. I would hope to be refunded or credited the $10 difference. Oh, and I tip the groomer $10 cash every single visit. What will you do to retain me as a satisfied customer?

Brought my Doberman here for a teeth cleaning last week and this place did a fantastic job! Definitely recommend this place for that.Brought my cat here yesterday to be groomed. Requested a lion cut, but understood that it wouldn’t be perfect so I made sure to state that the most important part to shave was her rear-end (to shave that part first) since she was having trouble staying clean after using the litterbox. Upon pickup, honestly I was impressed by the overall shave job by the student. However, unfortunately her rear-end was not shaved at all, so she still has a furry butt and now I must take her somewhere else for a “sanitary shave/clip” to complete the job. Also, one of her nipples was cut off and that sucks :(

this place is horrible. the workers are rude as hell and disrespectful. gave my dog a horrible “cut” they “cut” my dogs body but not his head nor tail. if i could give zero stars i would. if the people that work here see this you guys need to do better and you have a NICE spot in hell. have a horrible day ❤️

Great place for your dog grooming needs. Today we had both of our golden doodles teeth cleaned bathed and groomed for nothing. We would have paid 150 each at the local groomer. They are all learning so i5 may not be perfect but pretty damn good and everyone there is so nice

I can only say how wonderful this place is. My Charlie is a Goldendoodle with very thick hair that is very hard to keep unmatted. This is by far the BEST haircut Charlie has had. They did an absolutely amazing and outstanding job. I will keep in coming back for sure.Another note… at 3pm when all the parents were there for pick up I felt as if I was a a dog show…..They all look sooooooo Beautiful!!!!

I brought in my Golden Doodle to get a trim , mind you he never had a trim before long cinnamon locks . Spoke with a gentleman asking me what kind of a cut for the dog, I told him I want a trim not too much off and the same for the face and the Lady next to him said half off with round face . So I said ok when I came to pick up my dog I was heart broken to see all his hair off his body and a slight trim to the face . The gentleman said you said half off and I told him you took off all his hair that’s not what I had asked for . Then he went on to say my dog was very active and gave the student a challenge to try to cut him and also he said they did not do his nails which was paid for . I told him that’s not the cut I asked for then replied it’s a beautiful cut it’s only hair it will grow back . I thought that was so unprofessional telling me to just deal with it’s only hair it will grow back you paid $46 .00 what do you expect . I will never go to this establishment again!!!!! Guy if you care about your dogs like I do pay for a professional don’t try cheap it never works out. Poor poor experience!

Wow, complete chaos. My third time there and I've decided that I'm not going back. Five people are talking to you at once, people are screaming in Spanish, and they had this Caucasian woman with tattoos who was so incredibly rude that there's no way I am going back.

This place is so unprofessional and don’t communicate with their customers. I had a appointment for 8 am I would be running behind due to them being all the way downtown, I made a call to them to inform them that I’m running behind the person that answered the call told me that I can come in I have till 8:30. I arrived at the location at 8:30 to be told my dog can’t be seen when I’m coming from 40mins away this person wrongly told me a lie which to me is very unprofessional and bad customer service behavior. I walked in and they lied about sending me a appointment reminder to try and cover the lies being told by their employees.Thanks for your response but like I stated I called before to confirm that it was ok that I’m running behind and was told that I had till 8:30. Now going back to what I said BAD communication and I never received any reminders.

The haircut for my dog did look really cute however I noticed he was licking himself alot right after I got him home. I felt him all over and made sure he was not feeling pain any where I touched. This evening, I got a very close up view. There is a cut on his private areas. I realize that accidents happen and there are students doing the work. I will not be bringing my dog back. I can't even stand the thought of him being injured. Thank you for your services.

Absolutely the worst experience ever I brought my dogs here to be groomed and from the moment I walked in the front door I was greeted with an attitude and the absolute worst customer service ever these people put a strong around my dogs neck and tried to drag him to the back room and got mad and refused service when my dog wouldn’t let him drag him and choke him out the excuse was that my dog was biting him however that is not true at all until the “groomer” started choking and dragging my hog. When I explained that my dogs were basically my children and I didn’t appreciate them choking and abusing my dogs there exact words were” they are just dogs calm down.” Needless to say I’ll never be back and I will make sure I post this review to as many places as I possibly can.

Despite some of the negative reviews, I took a chance and decided to bring my Bichon Frise to get groomed at Merryfield School. They did a superb job on my dog! I previously had been taking him to a large pet store to get groomed over the past year. However, the Merryfield Student did a far better job than the large pet store chain I had been going to. He blew him out and trimmed him perfectly! Plus, my dog’s hair had never been as white before, which is obviously due to the large chain store groomer’s using substandard products compared to the high quality products used at Merryfield.I definitely recommend this grooming school and I will be coming back.
