Our family adopted 4 Frenchies. All at different times through the year. It was getting harder to keep up making fresh meals, and the concern was growing if it was enough or nutritional. When I saw Meals for Dogs, I had to check it out. Right when I walked in, I knew this was EXACTLY what my piggies needed. They have been eating the Ocean Reef, and already, I see a difference in their coats. I'm so glad there is a place that gets it. Found our dogs' new chefs! Thank you, Meals for Dogs!!!

My baby girl, Meghan Markle, absolutely loves her Conch Key Chicken. She has more energy, a much more beautiful coat, an does not beg as much for our food. She loves the homemade treats as well. I’m so happy to find such a gem as Meals for Dogs. Kudos to you!!

My mini Australian shepherd puppy is obsessed with the Cocomo Chicken. He has had problems maintaining his weight and would sometimes only eat once or twice a day when we fed him kibble or even wet food. Now, he can’t wait for feeding time. He’ll even scratch at his plate before his next meal and is so excited when we serve him. Thank you for helping us keep our puppy healthy and happy! The service is also great, very knowledgeable and kind people. Got some healthy sample treats which our puppy loved as well. Will definitely be coming back when we run out of his food!

I stopped by here on way from lunch the other day to ask questions about some additives for my elderly animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and all but 1 of the dogs is a senior. Needless to say with their different ailments(kidney disease, arthritis etc) I was struggling to get them to eat the foods we have with their medications mixed in. The woman that helped me walked me through each potential option I could have, answered my questions and even went over which ingredients would benefit the most and ensure they would eat the foods and stay on the diet plan necessary.I got home, after purchasing bone broth and Islamorada Chicken, let them thaw and sure enough, my finicky animals ate it all up! I’ll definitely be returning!

The owner, Catherine, is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their nutrition. My dogs loved the prepared food. I'm currently using their vitamin powder and cooking the food myself which is another option. My dogs love both. In the past five days since I started using their products my dogs have stopped begging for scraps at meals, have a great afternoon naps and appear overall happier. I'm a big fan.

Highly recommend a visit to the store, even if it's just to ask questions. Catherine, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about canine nutrition. I initially bought the Frozen pre-made food, my dogs loved it. Then I graduated to cooking my own and using their vitamin powder, which gives my dog's all their needed nutrients. I think the people that work in the store are very caring, they genuinely love animals and take their business seriously. Highly recommend. HINT- can enter parking lot only frim eastbound lane of Oakland Park Blvd or around corner on southbound US1/Federal Highway.

Our finicky puppy has been tough to feed. She's now 4.5 months and as soon as we brought home Cocomo Puppy Chicken and Brown Rice, she's been eating like never before. She LOVES it. I have to order more food already. Special shout-out to Stella's mom Caren for the recommendation!

Meals for Dogs is a great alternative for my dog! Cooper would always get sick as a puppy with store brought brands, and once I found Meals for Dogs we have never switched back! Definitely recommend if you are trying to switch from dry doggie food.

love,love, love this place the owner Catherine is very knowledgeable and super cool she knows her stuff the food she makes for cats and dogs are remarkable we gave it to our pomeranians for the first time and they all were begging on their two back feet they loved the food the store is immaculate they cook the dog food right in front of you I'm jealous because the flavours of dog food sounds like something I would enjoy myself we will from now on buy this dog food instead of the commercial stores !!!!!!!!! P.S . Plus they add vitamins to the food !!!!!!

I discovered Meals For Dogs as I was desperately searching for a solution for my cat Solange’s IBD issues, which she’s suffered with all her life (9 years), with chronic vomiting right after meals), that two different vets never brought completely under control, even with prednisone. After 9 years, Solange wasn’t responding to anything any more. Increasing doses of prednisone were no longer even partially effective and no food I had tried (including raw), made much difference at all. She had lost a couple of pounds and was vomiting after almost every meal. Desperate for a solution I went by and talked to Dr. Perez of Middle River Animal Hospital in Oakland Park, whose recommendations were simple and natural; switching to a non-processed food (she recommended Meals For Dogs in Ft. Lauderdale specifically), and a really high potency probiotic (Visbiome). The wonderful food that Meals For Dogs makes has been a miracle for my Solange! It made a difference for her immediately; she doesn’t vomit at all any more and is back up to a weight I haven’t seen in years. She loves the Meals for Dogs food, eats it enthusiastically and cleans her plate, which she has NEVER done – it’s always been a challenge to get her to eat enough to maintain her weight. I’ve known for a while the difference good quality food makes, I just had no idea it could make such an extreme difference. The wonderful people at Meals For Dogs are always helpful and accommodating, and it’s always a pleasured to go by there. Needless to say, I am switching all of my cats over to this diet now, after seeing how much difference it can make.

Excellent excellent excellent!!!!! My baby girl used to scratch a lot due to allergies from regular kibble, once I changed her to this food she does not scratch and her coat is super shiny and soft! Highly recommend!

Stellar Staff! Yomika(sp?) was enthusiastic and courteous from the time I called to see if they were open today, when I walked into store, while I was in there asking questions about the treats, through the tine I left. She was very courteous and exuded pride in her work. It's a beautiful day and she could have been like most people at work on a Sunday. Grumpy and bitter. NoT her. I will be back next weekend to get more for sure!! I was on a budget today.
